We hired Sta-Built to install a brick pathway and patio at our house. We requested a herribone pattern for our pathway with lights which has a curve and slight slope. BIG MISTAKE #1 The herribone pattern we requested was installed in less than 1/3 of the pathway, 2/3 of it is a random pattern, when we asked why Leland, the Project Manager, said you cant do a herribone pattern with a curve, NO ONE said anything about that before installation, not the salesman, Leland or the workers who were laying the bricks! BIG MISTAKE#2 It has been several months since they completed the job and a lot of the sealed sand is no longer between the bricks. I asked Leland about using polymeric sand instead of regular sand prior to starting the work and he said we didnt need it since we were going to have it sealed. BIG MISTAKE #3 The pathway is 69 wide at the top and 46 at the bottom. I asked them to gradually narrow the pathway, however it narrows in the middle then gets larger before the width reduces again. The radius of the curve was cut incorrectly. When I told Leland the width goes down 2 and back up in the middle he shrugged his shoulders. Everyone notices it. BIG MISTAKE #4 At the end of the pathway the bricks were supposed to flare out, however that wasnt done so Leland did it and theyre loose now. BIG MISTAKE #5 Leland said they would drill a hole in the bricks to drop the lights into it them, well the bricks crumbled when he did, so they cut bricks in half and cemented the light right into the bricks. I asked about when the bulbs burn out and Leland said they will be good for at least 5 to 10 years. BIG MISTAKE #5 The back patio was not level and water was puddling so Leland started banging the bricks with a rubber mallet and a couple of bricks were smashed. A new project manager came and replaced the bricks, however he neglected to seal it. He was supposed to come back to seal it but never did. The little dirt that they sprinkled on each side of the pathway is long gone. We will have to bring in more dirt to plant grass. They used our front parking area that had 5/8 crushed gravel on it as a staging area for everything, cleaned it up and laid some gravel down, NOT 5/8 crushed gravel, it was the larger cheaper kind, and not nearly enough. This company is disorganized and has very poor communication. The workers work hard but are either not told what to do or do not follow directions. They were without supervision most of the time they were here. We continually noticed them doing something they werent supposed to do and had to say no that isnt the way to do it, such as mounting the transformer by the wrong outlet. We never received the drawing estimate we were promised. We expected a lot more professionalism and a decent job than we received for $6,666.21!

Professional and timely service.

Very quick response time. This was a fairly small patio job and due to HOA constraints couldnâ t use big machines. Still, they got it done in one day. They had great design suggestions and went beyond my expectations. They even added some dirt around the stepping stones and tamped it down, which was not included in the work order, just to improve the appearance next to the patio. PLUS, the crew was respectful and good natured when I changed my mind about the steppingstones placement as they were laying them down.

Sta-Built tore down a make-shift retaining wall and installed a 70ft., two level brick retaining wall. They checked with us several times to make sure we liked the progress & made slight adjustments. Four gentlemen worked very well together to build excellent walls. Job Supervisor Hector & works paid attention to every detail and cleaned up the work areas, racked and spread seed where equipment had to work. It's a pleasure to endorse them for others to do their jobs.

We are very happy with the quality workmanship of our retaining wall. STA-Biult was here before scheduel and they kept the work site clean after leaving every night. Hector was friendly and easy to work with. There were no surprises. I have several future projects and I will hire STA-Biult again. They offer a lifetime warranty too. This is the contractor to hire you will be pleased with the results.

Professional and have good looking trucks and equipment. Good cleanup after each day. So far no issues. Job is almost done. They have done what they said they would do.

An estimator (Leland) showed on the afternoon of the day we made contact; very responsive. The two man installation crew was superb, well equipped, and they really knew what they were doing. The project turned out better than I had pictured, in fact, way better. It is a result I could not have completed as a DIY project.

Sta-Built did a fabulous job on extending our patio and putting in a fire pit. They were professional, cleaned up every day, and even were able to start our project 3 weeks earlier then they had originally told us. If I ever needed any paver work again, they would be the first company I called!

STA-Built did an awesome job installer concrete pavers in an area where we put our garbage cans. They were right on time - finished my project in 1 day. The follow-up with Leland (who came out to give the quote in the first place) was there on the day of install and stopped by to follow up that day after they had finished the work. I honestly can't think of one thing that would lower the rating of 5 stars.

Punctual and professional

Professional in everything they did from start to stop. Kept us informed as project went along. Workers were excellent, cleaned up when done. Final project was exactly what we wanted it to be. Highly recommend.

I am happy with the work performed by STA-Built. We had them design a pathway of pavers in our front yard. I am very happy with the design. The work will be done at the end of May 2018. We are excited to see the completed work. Will edit review when work is completed.

I have small yard and it seemed to just grow rocks and weeds. Peter is professional and responsive. He worked with my budget and helped me transform my yard. I feel like I’m walking into a resort space now. The craftsmanship of the team shows in their work and they left the site each day clean. Peter was flexible with the small changes I requested.
