The crew doing the painting were great! Very careful with our garden, were polite & professional, and cleaned up everything! We had problems with communication and follow through with the young man who was in charge of bidding and scheduling our job. He didn't return calls promptly and sent the crew out to paint one week before it was scheduled with no notice. Fortunately, Ethan took over the job at the end and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. As a result we would consider using them again. Our ratings reflect a combination of what went right and what did not. If Ethan had not taken over the job in the end to make sure we were taken care of, the rating would have been much lower.

We were very happy with them. They showed on time to the job. They cleaned up very well; the guy that painted our door got some paint inside of the house, but he came the next day to correct his mistake quickly. Price was mid-range of the bids we got.

It was a weekend so I sent an email inquiry. It's been several weeks and I have not had an answer. Since I was pretty specific about what I was looking for, I presume they do not offer that service, but I guess I will never know.

Pablo and his crew were wonderful! Not only did they not knock down the plantings around the house with the power washing, ladders, etc., but they stuck to it, matched the existing work, and finished the whole thing from start to finish in three days.... My husband and I feel so good about Seattle Paint's contribution to finishing our rebuilding project, we went out to dinner last night!

They responded right away and came over the same day. I thought this was great. They walked around and advised me on how to do my job and I was very pleased. The estimator told me he would respond to me with a written estimate in 24 hours. Seven days later, a report finally was emailed with no explanation. By that time, I had already booked another painter at 75% of the cost. Why promise to respond in 24 hours and then take 7 days?

The inside work was an A plus. The outside work was a B. They were respectful about being around my house. I would use them again in the future.

I contacted Seattle Paint and Drywall and worked with Ethan. Ethan was very responsive to getting back with me for a price quote unlike the other companies that I contacted. This was just the start of a very good experience. The other companies from Angie's List that I contacted were either booked up till the end of the year, had a very limited crew, couldn't turn around the job in a reasonable time, or was priced twice as high. Once I contracted with Seattle Paint and Drywall, they didn't want to take any of my money until the job was complete and I was totally satisfied. There were some mistakes along the way by the painting team, but once pointed out to Ethan, they were addressed immediately. The job took about a month to do the entire inside and outside of the house and it was raining. Ethan and Seattle Paint and Drywall were very good about touching up areas, whatever it took to make the customer happy. I highly recommend this company. You will be glad you hired them and will save a lot of money and get the work done in half the time. I did use their Rodda brand paint. They upgraded me at no cost to the low VOC paint which is good for the environment and doesn't leave the odor behind that standard paint does. Since Rodda is based in the Pacific Northwest, I felt that they have paints that can withstand the climate here. Also, this paint has a 10 year warranty backed by both Seattle Paint and Drywall and the manufacturer. Touch up was awesome! Ethan provided his best guys to do a free touchup job. Seattle Paint and Drywall sent 2 men to our home and they did a sterling job. Our home even looks better now since we have our furniture in place and we don't have the normal wear and tear marks. We are really happy with Seattle Paint and Drywall and Ethan. We couldn't imagine using any other painting contractor.

They were hired as part of a remodel. They responded quickly when I made the initial call, came out and looked everything over and gave us a written estimate. They were congenial and efficient and seemed very professional. The work took about 2 weeks. They have a painting crew and a drywall crew. The supervisors were there to check the work. In only one incident, they sent a painter who did a poor job. I called the company that evening and the supervisor was over the next morning to inspect. Within 24 hours they had another painter come over to correct the problem.

I called for a bid and received a prompt response from Ethan Green. He walked with me around the house, and looked at the current condition of the house. He told me what all the bid would include, and that I would have an email of the bid by the following evening, with a paper copy in the mail. That happened as promised. We decided the bid was quite reasonable, and signed a contract. Ethan then brought by a palette of colors, and helped me choose several possibilities. Later that same day he came back with samples of the colors I had chosen, and put up a substantial swatch on the house. My husband and I decided against all of those choices! I picked another; the crew came on a Monday, as scheduled, and pressure washed the house with a mildew-resistant liquid. They returned on a sunny Thursday and began the prep work. The first thing the crew boss did was to put a streak of the color on the house and ask if this is the color I wanted to sign off on. At that point, I could have changed my mind again! They were able to paint all the trim, etc. that day. On Friday they were back, early, to cover everything else for the painting of the house itself. They got 2 coats on. On the following Monday, again the crew of 3 was here to finish up painting downspouts, and to paint the doors. Each door required at least 2 coats of paint, one needed 3 coats, and the front door required 4 coats! After all the painting was done, the men cleaned up the entire area and left. Ethan had come by on 2 of the days to double check with us, and the crew, on how the work was going. He was immediately available by phone for any questions or concerns we had. After the men were done, he called to be sure we were satisfied, and had no other requests. The bill was sent promptly and promptly paid. We were greatly impressed by the promptness of all contacts, by the steady careful work of the crew, and the customer service attitude of this company. We also felt we got good value for the money. Two discounts applied for us: a 10% discount for seniors, and a 10% discount for scheduling the work during the spring/summer.

The guys were very nice. They completed the work very quickly. They were able to make it look really nice. They painted it to match the house, since it's a detached garage. They worked on it one day and then it took about a week for them to come back and finish it up. We would definitely use them again.

I called Ethan on a Friday afternoon and he was able to get someone to come the next day. We were on a tight schedule, with the cabinet installers coming Monday. My husband was going to do the drywall over the weekend, but we realized the job was too much and we needed a professional. Eddie came on Saturday and worked from 4-9PM, then was back on Sunday for an hour, then the following Saturday to finish up. He did a beautiful job.

The task is a challenging one due to the unusual roof, close proximity of the neighboring houses, and multiple sloping surfaces from which to work. Ethan, the representative with whom I communicated, was very responsive to my requests and time line. The workers completed the task within a week or so of the estimated time. Most of the delay was due to the variable weather and rain days. The few issues I had related to some of the paint on the deck staining brown when the leaves fell onto the deck in the fall. In addition, the heavy foot traffic areas wore down quickly. I spoke with Ethan who offered to repaint some of these areas, as needed, when the weather improved. During the painting, the workers mistakenly activated the house alarm when a window was opened to facilitate painting. The company graciously offered to pay for the associated charges when the bill for them arrived. All in all, I found SPD to be courteous, responsive, timely and within the budget estimate.

Overall, the house looks good. The company worked around our vacation schedule and does not ask for any down payment upfront. The foreman spoke English, but the workers did not. Unfortunately after the first couple of days, the foreman was not present all the time. Some of the work was sloppy/didn't pay attention to detail - but they would fix most of the things I pointed out. Some things I pointed out, they said were underlying problems with the siding and not their fault. I'm not so sure about that. I think the salesman should have showed up on his own to check things and not just when I called him. No damage was done and they cleaned up pretty well.

As homeowners we are acting as the general contractors for our addition project. This was our first experience with drywall work - we subbed it out to SP&D and are so far really happy with the job. Kassidy Lane was nice to work with - always available by phone, communicative and good at giving us time line estimates. After we signed our proposal, work started the next day and was completed within 2 weeks. The crew was hardworking. A word of advice to homeowners acting as the general contractor: expect A LOT of dust and mess! Remove all screens from windows etc. This is one thing I wish the guys had alerted us to, but it was still our responsibility to make sure all those details were taken care of. Don't assume anyone else will do it! The clean up job was good. I didn't ask about the company's work guarantee. We will be interested to see how the seams etc. look after about six months of temperature changes etc.

I arranged for a quote, which was scheduled within a few days. The person was unable to come when we had agreed, but came the next day, as I recall (promptly at the rescheduled time). He was very courteous and gave me suggestions on the best products to use for the job. However, I found a less expensive alternative for getting this small job done.

I was very impressed with Tim and his crew. Tim took extra time to listen to our needs and even had some ideas of his own. With our needs and his extra touches we were very pleased with the results. Not only did he get the project done ahead of our scheduled needs,but he came in under budget. After every thing was done our place looked awesome. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Their workmanship was very thorough. It took four days excluding the days they were unable to paint for inclement weather. Some mornings they would call and say we can't come because of the weather which is totally understandable and some days they would not call and not show up. I also thought they were a bit pricey but I liked the outcome so I would use them again.

The quote and signing process went well. I had some concerns on the first day when the crew scraped virtually none of the paint off and claimed that they would be applying the basecoat the next day. I contacted the manager and advised him that this was not adequate and I was not happy. They sent out a different crew the next day. This crew spent 2 more days scraping the house,caulking the windows and putting wood filler on damaged trim. I was firm about the level of prep work required, called the manager daily to point out additional work that needed to be done. In the end I had an excellent paint job on my house however I would ensure that with a repaint of an old house, you pay close attention to the job and push them to do the appropriate level of prep work for a quality finish. I was very impressed by how professional they were in handling my frank feedback, working to address my concerns and make me a happy customer.

Ethan was great. He was prompt and courteous and straight forward. The estimate was right on. He went out of his way to pick up the paint colors and have them matched. They used excellent quality paint that didn't smell like toxic fumes. He was flexible, coordinating a time for the work to be done while I was out of town. When I got home and opened the door the entire place was totally transformed! The painters did not leave a trace of a mess and they even left me all the extra paint, some cans were unopened. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs an interior paint job done professionally!

Ethan came by to give us an estimate right away and was able to fit us in the time that we wanted. His crew, with Eduardo as head, was very professional and efficient. They came by on time, worked quietly and did a fantastic job. We picked out all new colors and our home looks great.

Ethan was a pleasure to work with and we are very happy with the final result. He did a great job of gathering information about the work we wanted done, he provided advice in selecting the stain, and communicated status throughout the project. Al did a great job of painting our new fiberglass front door and was very easy to work with. Ethan and Al did a great job during a final walkthrough and completed a few minor touch-ups. The only things that could have gone better were to have been luckier with weather and to have been able to communicate a little better with the rest of the crew (they were very nice, but English is not their first language).

Job went splendidly, SP&D was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They did a fine job, just as described in their bid, and the final result is excellent.

The end product was very good, although it was a little bumpy starting. The first crew that showed up quickly took off and was fired before the end of the first day. After that it went a lot smoother when a fresh crew was assigned. They worked quickly and did quality work. They were on time, cleaned up properly and did good work. My only complaint is that they were unnecessarily rough with our landscaping, trampling it in places, in one instance far from the house where they used a landscaped area as a shortcut from their truck to the work area.

After receiving estimates from 4 painting contractors, decided that Seattle Paint and Drywall, a family owned and operated business displayed the best knowledge of what needed to be done. Though others offered a lower price, the business longevity and customer service approach of Seattle Paint and Drywall made them my first choice. The professionalism shown by Zak Fike, Jeremy Fike, project foreman Manuel and his crew affirmed that choice. I had numerous "homeowner requests" regarding how to treat gutters, downspouts, cable TV and heat pump fittings and all were taken care of without hesitation. The crew showed up on time and worked steady to complete the painting (excluding pressure wash and drying) in just two days. Manuel, an experienced painter, returned for minor touch up and a final homeowner inspection. My wife and I are quite happy with the results and will not hesitate to recommend Seattle Paint and Drywall to friends and family.

It went great! The crew showed up on time and on the scheduled date. They worked quickly and quietly over the course of 3 days. They put on 2 coats of a beautiful dark shade, and did gleaming white trim with a fabulous red door. I couldn't have been more happy with the job! I interviewed several companies and had bids done. I am very glad that I chose to work with Seattle Paint and Drywall. Zach has been a pleasure to work with, and his crew has done an awesome job on our home. I don't think our home has ever looked this great. Thank you Zach!
