I got several bids and from them picked Seattle Paint and Drywall. A real nice guy, Bill, was their rep and the bid was at the middle to low end of the others. Bill was real knowledgeable and I got the feeling from him that he and his crew would be very conscientious in their work on our home. Our house was in really poor condition from a previous horrible paint job that was thrown up right before we bought the house three years ago. Lots of scraping, pressure washing, and dealing with leaded paint for the first couple of days. The paint chips and water were neatly contained and properly disposed of and the bushes around our house were well protected. Wilmar and his paint crew arrived on the third day and were very professional in their work ethic and punctuality. Bill checked in on them once a day to make sure things were proceeding as planned. Overall it was a very painless experience and they made our house look like brand new! Highly recommended for anyone with painting needs.

After some confusion on the schedule due to weather everything went according to plan. The estimator/foreman Bill Johnson's paint crew arrived on time were very conscientious workers and left the area clean. The members of the crew were very polite, clean, hard-workers and a pleasure to have around the house. Not one problem presented itself with this crew. Thank you Bill for your follow up on the completed job.

Fantastic job all around. Bill Johnson provided the initial quote and Wilmer was the on-site foreman during the four days of work. Wilmer and his crew were on-time, professional, detail oriented, and hard working. My wife and I returned from the hospital with our new baby boy on the day that painting started. Wilmer made sure we had access to the house and worked around our schedule when we had unexpected visits to the pediatrician during the next few days. They even made a point to start later in the morning to avoid waking up our baby too early. The exterior of the house looks sharp! The Rodda AC-909 satin paint that was used comes with a great warranty and provides nice protection without too much gloss. The crew did a great job cleaning up and made sure all the gutters and exterior pieces were reinstalled correctly. Fantastic job, crew and price - highly recommended!

Seattle Paint and Drywall was one of three bids that I received for getting my house painted. They weren't the lowest bid but seemed like they were reliable and would do a good job. They were prompt coming out for a bid. I couldn't decide on a color so I used a designer that they recommeded which was inexpensive and helpful. The crew assisgned to my house were great. They were hardworking, polite, always arrived early and cleaned up after their work. My house looks great and I am extemely pleased with the finished project!

Our 1910 home, affectionately dubbed "Lucy", was facing her 100th birthday and we felt we'd do something nice for the old gal, considering she's stood the test of time for the last century. Two owners previous to us was a "flipper" who had used recycled pink paint and done a pretty poor job at that. Lucy had cracking, chipping, chalking, poor caulking. And she was PINK. She was in need of a new exterior paint job. I called Seattle Paint & Drywall, along with a local company in my small city, as well as student painting company. Bill did my bid quickly and I was pleased with his knowledge and the recommendations he made. We went with Seattle Paint & Drywall. Lucy was power washed by Willmur and another one Thursday, who did a very nice job in my opinion. They also power washed my gutters and walk ways! Something I did not expect, and was well appreciated. The following week, Lucy was scrapped and prepped. She had a crew of four working on her, careful to cover all the plants in the flower beds and any surrounding cars within the area. She was caulked, primed, and puttied and ready to go. Two coats later (and even a bonus 3rd coat on the sunny west facing wall!), she was ready for trim and accent colors. Bill was great, checking in each day to see how work was doing and asking if I had any questions. Saul was wonderful, too - confirming with me how I wanted colors or suggestions of what, in his experience, worked best. ("Crap, Saul. I picked out 5 colors for the house and thought I was done. Now I need to pick out floor enamel for the decks? What hides dirt best?" ;-) ) I had a final chance to walk around and say, "You know, I'd really like this ____" or "You did this in the front, I'd like to see it repeated in the back after all, too." Which made me VERY happy. And they were done! The house turned out beautifully, and I will attach photos because sometimes pictures are all you need to see. In the end, I know I had several bids come in, but was very, very pleased I went with Seattle Paint & Drywall. Great quality job and another very satisfied customer. AND - they offer an Angie's List coupon! ;)

We obtained three estimates ranging from $3600 to $8800 (before tax). Seattle Paint and Drywall came in at $4300 (after a little negotiating), but we felt best about them based on Angie's list reports, plus they included back rolling the paint after spraying (the lower bid was just for spraying and no subsequent rolling, I don't recall if the high bid included back rolling or not).. About 2 weeks after we signed the contract, they started with the pressure washing (1 day), then about a week later come to do the painting. The painting was completed in 3 days and they did an immaculate job. We have found no splatters on any concrete and the trim lines are precise. All light fixtures, doorbells, weather stripping, etc was removed and replaced. The followed our instructions on what should be painted trim color and what should be the body color. They left us with a cans of touch-up paint. There was no hassling over getting things done correctly or having things (e.g. light fixtures) re-installed. There were a few very minor items we pointed out during the final walk thru, but these were fixed promptly and without hassle. The crew was friendly and hard working. I was left with impression that Seattle Paint and Drywall treats their employees well. Overall, one of the best service experiences we've had in a while.

Bill their foreman was great. He kept me up to date on anticipated weather changes that would affect the schedule. I gave him the wrong paint code for the trim so when I noticed the color was wrong he changed it out and repainted without fuss. All the paint guys were polite professional and on time, Would highly recommend Seattle Paint and Drywall but make sure and ask fro Bill.

Overall, they did an excellent job. I am very particular when it comes to professional contractors, and I have used several painting companies in the past, with less than stellar results. By far, Seattle Paint & Drywall was the best painting compant I have ever used. They were punctual (despite a postponement, due to the weather), courteous, professional, hardworking, and very detail-oriented. Bill was a pleasure to deal with and was always on the ball. I was quite impressed with the fine work that they did, and they far exceeded my expectations. They even cleaned up meticulously after themselves, and left the place spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend this company or to use them again in the future.

I was contacted by Bill Johnson, who is the foreman and estimator. He was very professional and friendly. He sent a team to power wash the house and then paint it. They used three different colors; one each for the body, trim, and accent of my front door. The preparation and painting itself was done very meticulously. They were very good; a dream company. They did everything very professionally and did everything that was in the contract. They cleaned-up after themselves, better than any other company I have used before. It was really a pleasure to deal with them. Additionally, there is a company that is franchising out of Philadelphia and is underbidding Seattle Paint & Drywall, but the money goes back to Philly as oppose to remaining in Washington state. I wanted to keep the money in the area. It has been a super experience overall.

Jeremy assigned me a team of two guys who impressed me heartily with the care they took in the prep for the job. (Days of prep work-- by comparison the painting goes pretty fast). I'd call this team scrupulous-- and felt lucky to have hired them rather than more expensive contractors. I'll have more cabinets painted-- and the house's exterior also, as money becomes available. I'm especially gratified by contractors who answer e-mail promptly,since I tend to rely on it more than most people do. Really well-run business.

Great job overall. Price was reasonable and quality excellent.

I accepted their bid in early February and scheduled for first week in May. Recommended a color consultant to help me choose a color. Also let me know about new paint available (Sto Lotusan) and gave me information to review it. I was impressed with this product even though a bit more money for the paint. Since it rained the scheduled week, they did power wash my house and started painting the next week, as they wanted to make sure the house was completely dry. They did an excellent prep and painted the house and stained my front porch. Overall were completely finished in 5 days. I was surprised they came on Saturday and painted my front door which saved me from having to take a day off of work. Great bunch of guys and great work. Very polite and respectful. My house looks beautiful! They had me go around and make sure everything was done to my satisfaction and touched up all minor issues. Cleaned up completely. Assurance from owner that if I found any issues in the future they would take care of it. Great experience and highly recommend Seattle Paint and Drywall.

The experience was smooth and top-notch. I got an estimate right away, which was lower than an second estimate I got. Bill Johnson, their estimator was available throughout the process and was always available to answer questions and oversee the progress. The timeline was exactly as described. The painters were personable and on-time everyday. Due to an accounting error, I received a bill before the job was done, and I got a call from the owner of the company to appologize. This was not necessary but was very impressive. All in all the customer service was outstanding, and I'm very happy with the results. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Overall, the quality of work was fantastic! Their price was the cheapest. They also took extra steps and made sure that everything was correct.

Excellent service. Mr. Fike was always prompt, professional, and courteous. He was most understanding when we change our color selection, even after starting painting. His crew was on time and professional. They protected with tape, plastic, and paper all areas of the house, yard, even cars parked on the street. The repairs, due to water damage around the front door and a window or two, were well done. After painting the cleanup was complete. All the tape, plastic, and paper were gone. There were no paint spills, "holidays," or other signs of anything but best quality workmanship.

I asked for a bid. Once the bid was prepared, as a repeat customer, I got a great discount off the bid price. The crew showed up on time, I gave them the key and returned once the job was complete to inspect. The home was emptied of furniture prior to painting in preparation to sell the home. I did have difficulty in the middle of the job with getting an update of the painting progress. However, it was rectified promptly and the job was completed on time.

I was pleased in general with the outcome of the job. Mark was in close contact with me all along the way, so I knew what to expect. But the workers were messy and I had to clean up after them. There was drywall dust everywhere, including the parking lot where they dropped drywall. I cleaned that up because the neighbors complained about it. The painter did not remove the light fixture in the bathroom and got paint all over the globes. Mark explained that the drywallers were used to working new construction, so were not used to having to be neat. They were here for 4 days and did not attempt to clean up, so I guess they didn't get the message to be neater, even after I mentioned it several times to Mark. Mark did come after and clean up some around my entryway.

They were great. They gave us a really low and good bid. They gave us the lowest bid of the three companies that we looked out. They just did a great job of getting the color to match. They got the job done even though it was raining; they came out during the little window of dry and got it done. We were kind of on a time crunch so they did a great job for us. The guy who was in-charge, Bill, was great. I will use them again; we're going to have them come back out and do our deck this spring.

When I called to schedule an estimate, Collin called back and was able to look at the house that same day. He provided the estimate and said that he could have a crew out at any point. He also suggested that he had finish carpenters that could, um, finish the trim work. I ended up using his carpenter, who helped shave about a week off my schedule. 4 painters descended on my house and finished it up in about 4 or 5 days. They painted almost the whole house, including latex paint on the walls and oil-based paint on the trim and the doors. They did a great job with prep work and clean up. The caulked, patched, and textured as necessary. It looks fantastic.

They did a terrific job with the paint. They also gave us some paint for touch-ups which is a deal they give to customers. Overall, they did a good job. They have a nice office for scheduling and agents who handle this aspect.

They were okay overall. I did something more than what was included in the original quote. The price was pretty good. They were sometimes good and sometimes bad in terms of their punctuality. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

Everything went very well. When we were not happy about how the work turned out, they would come back immediately to correct it. I would hire this company in the future.

They were timely and they did extra special touches. This is their second job on our house. Their price was competitive.

They were fine. Their professionalism was outstanding.
