Description of Work: They did painting of fascia and gutters. They pressure washed a large wooden pergola. They were excellent. We really liked them. The cost was about $5,000.

Description of Work: Two painters did all the exterior trim painting in 4 hours on our home. Last fall we had the entire exterior spray painted but had not had the time to hand paint the trim before the winter season set in. So it was great to finally get it all done. Great work and we would hire them again.

Description of Work: We are selling our home and needed 'touch ups' throughout the house. Zach and Carlos arrived on time, and went right to work. I showed them all of the areas needing attention and they dealt with 95% within the 4 hour I had agreed upon. Nice people and good job!

Description of Work: Saul arrived promptly at 8:00 and dug right into the paper removal. He is fast and thorough. We will hire him again.

Description of Work: The person who came to paint (Carlos) did an excellent job. He arrived around 8am and finished painting 3 rooms (all different colors, two coats) by about 3pm. I was very happy with the quality of the work, would definitely use Seattle Paint & Drywall again!

Description of Work: *UPDATE* We had mix-up, and I had thought that Patrick was uninterested in my business, and wrote a review indicaitng my displeasure. Im have deleted the previous review. Patrick had been trying to reach me by phone, but had a non-working number. He did reach me by email after I posted the previous review, and we had set up a time for his crew to come paint. Angie's List has already refunded my coupon price (Quick customer service! Thank you!), so I will not be using Seattle Paint and Drywall. This was an unfortunate mix-up, and anyone who reads this review should not hesitate to hire them.

Description of Work: Painted living room and kitchen areas with 9' ceilings. Responsive, prompt, did good work, and cleaned things up well. I will use them again, possibly for the exterior house next time. Nice job and friendly people. Carlos and his partner did well.

Description of Work: They arrived last Wednesday. Their two workers arrived in a timely manner. They are hard workers and did a wonderful job...two coats on every wall. They were courteous, cooperative, and very helpful in moving furniture, respecting our home and our privacy as much as possible. Our one concern is that one of the workers came back to finish up on the third day, by himself, and he spoke almost no English, so it was extremely difficult to communicate with him, but he worked tirelessly and completed the work. The price was a bit high, even including the $563.00 we paid up front, but we are happy with the results and they did do some extra rooms. The company has always had a good reputation in the Seattle area, and we would certainly use their services again.

Description of Work: Sprayed to remove and kill algae and mildew from siding, pressure washed, re-calked as needed, masked areas not being painted, including shrubs and roof. Spray painted house siding 2 coats of latex paint, back rolling first coat, cleaned up and disposed of waste. Only the siding was painted. Trim had been painted two years previous. Patrick, the estimator, was pleasant and helpful. The only problem we had was communicating with the lead painter. He worked hard and was very pleasant but it became obvious that he did not always understand our questions.

Description of Work: We chose Seattle Paint and Drywall to do our complete exterior house painting job (2 story brick tudor in Montlake) after fairly extensive research on Angie's List followed by getting 4 bids from highly rated companies, and getting a feel for the different companies by speaking with the contact people. It became clear pretty early in the process that these guys were the best for our needs, and this was confirmed after checking references and looking at other jobs they had done. We wanted a quality job without paying an excessive amount. We had had a bad experience years ago paying about half the price we paid this time, and due to poor prep work, the paint started peeling within 1 to 2 years. We also received a bid for this current job that was about twice what SP&D bid, which seemed unnecessary and at least for us was unaffordable. We felt that going with a relatively large company that has been in business for a long time would hopefully guarantee a certain standard and recourse if there were any problems. What I did not expect from such a company, and what I was very pleasantly surprised to find, was the very personal attention we received throughout the entire process. Tim Fike was my initial contact person and our job manager. He was very straightforward and personable, patient with my questions, prompt in getting back to me whenever I called, flexible to accommodate our schedules, full of great information and advice, and overall a really nice guy. The crew that worked on the house were also great, detail oriented, polite, and cleaned up after themselves very well. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new paint job. We would definitely use SP&D again, and have no hesitation in recommending them without reservation!

Description of Work: I obtained three bids for an exterior house painting job and Seattle Paint's was 106% higher than the lowest bid and 76% higher than the middle bid. Perhaps they had sufficient work this season and figured it was worth a try.

Description of Work: Seattle Paint & Drywall did an excellent job. They painted the exterior of our home as well as finished/stained our deck. We needed some repairs as we had bubbles from the age of our home. Jeremy was very responsive and made sure everything was done as anticipated. I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Zakary Fike of Seattle Paint and Drywall came on Monday, May 23, said he'd work up an estimate and send it to me by the following Wednesday, and hasn't been in touch since.

Description of Work: They did some drywall work in our kitchen. It was pretty good. They had to come back and do a little bit of touch up but it was definitely a good value.

Description of Work: Seattle paint and drywall did some plaster repairs in the kitchen and bath and some creative sheetrock work around a door that had been incorrectly installed. Mark was very knowlegeable was there to preview the job with Isiah and James who did nice work and cleaned up in one long day instead of the proposed two.
