Rodda Paint & Decor - Lynnwood

Description of Work: We purchased a gallon of interior paint. | |Six months or so ago we hired a painter to paint the interior walls of a new room addition and several existing rooms. We loved the color of the new room and wanted to paint our entryway the same color. We went to the Rodda store and purchased a gallon of the same color. I fully understand that, as with any paint, there is not guarantee that the color of this gallon would be exactly the same as the new room, but that was OK since the paint was to go on the walls of a separate space. When we painted our entryway, however, the color was clearly different. We went back to the Rodda store and they thought that the difference was because we had not had them use the same sheen. They knew the painter I used and assured me he used the flatter sheen they were suggesting. I was sure that wasn't the problem, but they were confident it was, so I purchased a second gallon. This paint was a color match but I obviously had gotten the sheen right so we went back to the Rodda store. This time they gave me a gallon of the right color and the right sheen. After painting our entryway it was clear that the first gallon had not been mixed correctly, which was their error. However they never admitted their error and I wound up paying for two gallons of paint.
