Erich called before he left his shop so I knew he was on his way and knew when to expect him. He was able to get there a bit earlier than expected which was good for me. I had a plugged sink that I was unable to clear on my own. He layed down a quilted blanket on the floor to protect the flooring. His snake gave him a little trouble but he fixed it and did not charge me for the time for repairs to his equipment. Erich ran his snake into the pipe and felt he'd cleared it but the first time proved unfruitful. After a second run, he was able to clear it. He was very friendly, has years of experience, and I felt comfortable with his ability. We discussed a future project I had that I wished to do myself as much as possible. He offered to do "minimal" work and to show me what needed to be done. If I have another plumbing issue in the future or need home plumbing improvements, I WILL call Erich again.

They did a wonderful job and their clean up was good.

Our tenants reported a leak at the w/c while we were away on vacation out of country. I checked Angie's list and E-mailed some company names to our tenants. Protocol Plumbing were contacted and were able to come over fairly soon after. There was leakage at the base, and water had seeped through to the garage. The plumber removed the toilet, installed new parts, including wax rings and reinstalled the w/c. Problem fixed ! Our tenants were happy with their work and reported they were very professional.

It always goes very well. That is why we keep calling him back.

I don't know a lot about plumbing and Erich did his best to explain what I needed to know in order to go pick out the right size toilet prior to the work being done. He was patient with my questions. Once I decided to have him do the work he was able to schedule me within the week. He was on time and set up protection to not damage the floors I had just refinished. He performed the work in less time than estimated & charged a fair price. He was professional & delightful to work with. I found him on Angies List but discovered he had done work for my brother as well and my brother was pleased with the work he received too. I highly recommend him.

The guys are very responsive and will do whatever needs to be done. I've used them several times and they always are professional and courteous. Always return phone calls. Highly recommend using them.

Arrived within a few hours of calling the company. Very personable. Told me it was not going to be a big deal to make repairs. Didn't leave any mess, very neat and tidy. Charged us less than was quoted, which doesn't happen very often!!! Overall very pleased with the plumber and the company.

I called Erich and asked questions about my plumbing issues. He was very interested in helping me resolve my problems, even if it mean sending me to a peer who repairs water heaters. In the end I needed to replace the tank and they scheduled me within a couple of days, and completed the work in an afternoon. Erich was very clear that my total satisfaction was very important to him and he requested that I let him know of anything that was not to my complete satisfaction. BTW, he discounted the tank about 15% off the list price.

Overall, Protocol Plumbing seems to have done an excellent job, at a good price, and Erich is very adamant about their promise of quality and follow up, if we should need it. He also honored the $25 Angies List coupon.

It was an excellent experience. He had a last minute cancelation so was able to come within 2 hrs of my first contact. He worked efficiently, was very pleasant, and cleaned up after himself. I will definitely call Protocol again when I need a plumber.

I called to get an estimate/make an appointment for an estimate. The owner himself answered the phone! He listened very carefully, allowing me to describe my situation in detail and commented on how clear a picture he had inhis mind about the problem. He said that he did not have his date book, but that he would call me as soon as he got into the offive to schedule it. He called back a few hours later and confirmed an appointment for two days later, and then called again becuase his schedule ahd been rearranged, so he was able to make it earlier. Every phone conversation was very pleasant. Eric was so friendly and nice-from the very beginning. He came out very propmptly and evaluated the situation and then went right to work-but not before taking off his shoes in my house and laying out a mat in the area where he would be working to protect the area from any debris or water. He explained exactly what had happened and how he would resolve the problem. Because the broken pipe and the valve were in an exterior wall, Eric repaied a previous hole in the wall by cutting a larger section of drywall away and installing an access panel door so that I can always check to make sure that there is no leak in that same area. He repaired the pipe and turned the water back on, explaining htat there would be air in the lines, but that the sputtering was normal and not to worry. He cleaned up everything and vacuumed, leaving the area cleaner thaan when he arrived. He was in my home for about 90 minutes, but he did not charge me beyond 1 hour of time. His total bill was $267, which included $76 in parts, and then he removed another $30 form the bill, bringing it downn to $237. Eric than told me that he stands behind his work 100% no matter what and then told me that in the coldest months when the pipes could freeze again after several nights of freezing or below temps, that I should leave a very slight trickle at one of the faucets to keep water moving, so as to avoid freezing again. He was everything you would want in a plumber and can't ever get. I will ALWAYS call Protocol Plumbing and have already told many people abut the service I received. This is a really wonderful company-and Eric is a terrific plumber and a really nice guy!

I made an appointment with Erich on Thursday and told him that I was concerned about a leak under the sink. He said that he had time on Friday afternoon. He was very respectful of my time and called me on Friday morning letting me know what time he would be to my house. He arrived at my house on time and inspected the leak under the sink. I appreciated that he put down a waterproof mat on our new wood floors to protect them. He re-routed a line, which he believed would correct any leak, although there was no evidence of the leak which I had noticed earlier. He ran the dishwasher a couple of times to make sure that the leak was not happening. Erich told me that he would not charge me because he did not believe that there was a leak. I gave him a check for $75 for his trip charge that he reluctanly accepted. He did a great job.

I called Erich at Protocol the morning we noticed that we had no hot water. Our old water heater was 9 years old, 4 years out of warranty, and I decided that installing a new one made more sense than attempting to repair the old. The heater is in a terrible spot, under the inside corner of the kitchen counter and best accessed through the living room wall. Because of the counter over the heater there is only so much room for the heater and only certain brands will work - Erich was able to locate a new model of the same brand that was currently installed and once I OK'd the quote we picked a date and he showed up on time. There is nothing easy about replacing this heater, but he had the old one out and the new one in place in just under 2 hours. He is friendly, hard working, and easy to trust. The bill was exactly what he had quoted and I am pleased with the work and the ease in communication. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Erich and Protocol in the future.

Erich was on time, polite, and very pleasant. He had to do a few extra things to get the faucet replaced that hadn't been planned on but he was fully prepared and did the work quickly and efficiently. I will definitely hire Protocol Plumbing again should the need arise.

Tim responded to my call quickly. He showed up at the time he said he would be arriving. He was friendly, efficient, and affordable. I would definitely call him again if we have a plumbing problem.

Called on Sunday and had service by Monday. He was about half an hour later than he thought, but called about delay. Really nice and compentent guy. Cleared the drain pipes and installed a much better garbage disposal. We are very happy with the process and results. If you have a problem, these are the guys to go to. Very good experience.

City of Lynnwood guy knocked on our door in the morning as he noticed we had water flowing out of our yard in front. Some time overnight our water main had sprung a leak and was running the meter full out. We have lots pressure so a small leak can make a small stream. I got to Protocol on referral from a Guy I used for inside plumbing, who sent me to Pioneer. But they didn't have an opening for 3 days. So they suggested Protocol. They were great. They had someone that could come out in the afternoon after I got the water main uncovered. At one point I was feeling like I might have no idea where it was and was ready to pay for them to finished digging. He told me that was not a good use of my money. He was going to try to find someone to dig it up for me, but that gave me an idea and I hire someone from the Millionaires club downtown. They have people they have checked out that do day labor. I got a guy who had done this before. And for $40 he had the main uncovered about 30 inches down by 3PM when the plumber showed up. he help us clear out and cut our a mondo sized root that was attacking the main. Then he built the fitting and installed it. He was they just under an hour and did the work I described. With the Angie's List discount it was just $220 for parts and labor. We had water again before my wife was home from work. I felt the billing was fair, I liked that they didn't want me to spend money the wrong way and that probably saved me $200+ And they were in communications as we were digging out the main so that their guy was there not too soon and I only had to pay for real work, not waiting on us to dig a hole. My feeling is that these guys run an honest business and don't take short cuts. I might have fixed it myself for $50 using a plastic sleeve patch and some glue.. but I got a better fix that I know won't have me digging the up again. And I do computers not plumbing

Everything works very well and they did what they said. It doesn't take much to do it right, but they did it and nothing has broken since. I don't think it was a great or bad price.

They were very good. They were on time and they were nice. Everything went fine there were no problems.

My service pipe had corroded with time a bit. He knew what to do and before he left he made sure the fix was right under my conditions. He explained what may have caused the leak and what to be aware of to future issues. It wasn't a "sell job", just being honest and forthright.

We've used them several times and they are excellent, absolutely excellent. They worked very quickly. There have not been any leaks and it looks like they did excellent work. The servicemen were just wonderful. They respond very quickly and their work is good. They clean up after themselves and they are very reliable. We have referred them to friends. Their price was a little less than two other companies. All plumbing companies are high and they are comparable.

This company confirmed that the plumbing was okay, which was a concern for me, and that I could rectify my problems myself. There was no charge. They were very helpful and honest and forthright, and I would use them in a heartbeat if I ever have a plumbing issue again.

Excellent work! We were very happy with Don and Joe and the work they performed. They were able to answer any questions that we had and took the time to make sure we understood what was going on. They were on-time (every day) and very professional. The job took about 4 days - exactly what they had estimated. They were very clean; our neighbors were also impressed. They were easy to reach by phone, when needed. Their quote was very fair -- and we paid exactly what was quoted. We will hire them do to our trim out as well. Joe even took the time to fix a slowly draining sink...which we really appreciated. He went above and beyond what was expected of him, and we truly value his hard-work. We will hire them again without hesitation. We have already referred them to friends.
