PMC Moving

Description of Work: I called PMC at the last minute to help us move the big furniture items and some smaller items out of a 1BR condo. They were quick and efficient, but had to get to another job mid-move. So they unpacked the items into the garage and returned later in the day to finish the job, which was fine with us. The guys were great and Alex in the office did a nice job keeping us updated with the status of the crews.

Description of Work: The supervisor was professional and got things moving quickly with the return call and setting up a time. I was under a lot of pressure and stress doing this move by myself with so much to do. The movers ended up needing to help with packing as it just ended up being to much for me in a short period of time. One of the guys was really nice about it, the other one from Colorado let me know how irritated he was and was pretty rude. I would expect that if you are paying them, and the day was cut out specifically for our move, then just help with what needs to be done. I was very nice to these people and expected the same in return. They were good about setting up the two beds, one being a hospital bed and placing furniture in the appropriate rooms, which I highly appreciated. My son is handicapped, so when I was setting him up later after they left, unfortunately they had folded up his tables in a way that broke off some pieces that held it in place, so that was really frustrating to not have them working the way we need for his comfort right now. There were 2 that they did like that, so neither of them work right now because of that. I wish they would have left them as they were, they had room in their truck to leave them as they were. Also, one box they packed with all my spices had an unbelievable mess all over everything cause cooking spray went off and just covered all of it. It was a big full box of expensive spices and ruined about everything in it. I wish they would have at least wrapped the can separately or something. I was under the impression that the boxes came with the price of the move, but they ended up charging separately for it, which really surprised me. I understand the extra charge for the extra time involved with packing. I'm glad I got moved here and that was the important thing, but just so disappointed in things that got broken, and the mess of oil all over everything in the one box and then of course the attitude of the one guy. With me being nice to them, I think he should work on his customer service skills a little better.
