Pam's Cleaning Services

Her price is a bit high @$35/hour but I feel she is worth every penny. I will be using her on a monthly basis from now on. She is fast and thorough and brings her own supplies, including vacuum.

She was great at setting up the appointment and scheduling. She called three times to confirm appointment because it was booked so far in advance. She is very professional. I already moved out of state, so I didn't see finished product.

She was really good, very prompt; the works she did was excellent. We had to discontinue using her due to budget restraints.

Everything went well as usual. Pam works very hard, does a thorough cleaning, and does good work for a fair price.

I scheduled a time to meet at my home for an estimate but no one showed up. When I called to find out way I was told my phone number had been lost so I did not proceed with receiving service.

I contacted Pam by email late on a Monday night and she had replied already by the time I woke up the next day. She was able to fit me in the coming weekend, and we hired her for 4 hours of cleaning, mostly to prepare the house for the holidays. She was prompt and moved very quickly while there to address all of our concern areas. In particular, she did a great job in the bathrooms and with dusting. She was efficient with the time she had and quickly understood what needed to be done. She was very professional and I would ask her to come back again.

Pam was extremely thorough! She cleaned behind and under things that probably had not been touched by our previous housecleaner. We have two large dogs that spend a good amount of time in the house. Pam moved furniture and furniture cushions to clean under and behind which is very important when you have dogs. We would still be using her services if she still lived in Washington State.

Pam has been cleaning our home for nearly a year. 2 hrs/every other week. She never once rescheduled or failed to show up. I have 100% trust in both Pam's integrity as well as her incredible work ethic. When she arrives, she gets right to work, and works at a fast pace. She's incredibly thorough - i.e. moves all furniture away from wall to vacuum & mop, lifts items up to dust under them, takes out rugs and shakes them before putting back, uses appropriate chemicals for various surfaces (glass stove top and faucets are always flawlessly shiny). She's always meticulous and careful with our belongings - everything is put back in exactly the same spot. We're incredibly sad she's moving to California - we would have happily kept her for many years to come!

I have always been pleased with her work. Each clean she was able to add something different to the mix and get ahead of issues. I really enjoy coming home to a clean house that doesn't smell like pine sol. I am sad to see her move but am happy these reviews will go with her.

Pam is a professional; she is extremely trustworthy - knows her business and goes about it quickly and thoroughly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for general housecleaning services.

She is always on time and does a very good job. She is a hard worker and a very pleasant person to talk to. She is honest, trustworthy and I believe she enjoys what she does. (from other rooms in the house I can hear her singing while she works). We are more than satisfied with her work.

She was a valuable helper when we needed her a great deal. She made time, she came when she said she would. She did good, professional cleaning plus. Her only weakness, though she never said so and she kept a stiff upper lip and did what was needed, is in confronting clouds of dusty mildew, as I had in the basement. I could see that it was effecting her as it was me. If I get our own house settled down, I would love to have her come and clean if I could get a spot in her schedule.

Pam did an excellent job. She worked hard the entire time. The bathroom has tiled walls and floor and she throughly cleaned the grout areas, getting out discoloring that I had not been able to remove. The appliances were cleaned with great detail and looked fantastic when completed. When Pam finished the agreed projects she asked if there was anything else we needed help with and I had not planned on asking her for help with mopping the basement, but she was willing to help with that as well. We had so much else to work on I was very thankful for all her help. Pam is very professional and has a wonderful personality that made it a pleasure to work with her. She was prompt and on time and even agreed to schedule us when I called on a Friday wanting next day service on Saturday, even though she had another job scheduled for later that day. I would hire Pam again any day.

I got her through Angie's List. The price I paid was for 4 hours of work. She really did a nice job of cleaning the home we were moving into. She helped me get things ready. She did a nice job. She worked hard. She was thorough and pleasant to work with. She was professional. She brought her own cleaning supplies. I don't need someone on a regular basis but if I did, I certainly would consider her.

She is professional, extremely efficient and is pleasant to be around. I would highly recommend her.

This is the cleanest that this place has been. Pam cleaned every nook and cranny in the place. I am very pleased and very happy with the service and will be using her again in the furture.

We have been very happy with the quality of her work and her professionalism. She has been working for us from June 2009. The first time she came over, we discussed how long it would take to clean the house and how often. We were very impressed with the work Pam did the first time and decided to enter into a bi-weekly cleaning arrangement with her. We have not regretted our decision. We appreciate the fact that she is able to work with long term guests and our youngest child plus the nanny in the house at the same time. It's been wonderful to have our house sparkling clean every two weeks.

I contacted Pam through Angie's List and asked her to contact me about weekly cleaning service - she was very responsive. She told me on the phone that she is busy and that she probably didn?t have a weekly spot available in her schedule. I told her that I?ve not used a house cleaner in the past and really didn?t know how long it would take or if weekly was too much but would follow her lead when we met. We setup a time for her to come over and have a look. She showed up to my house on time and looked around and told me that once a month would probably be enough. She made a point to tell me several times what she charges and that she has a 3 hour minimum. When Pam left, she said she would get back to me in a few days with a time slot. My schedule is completely flexible and the time slot wasn?t an issue at all for me. We scheduled for her to arrive on Wednesday the 20th around 3:00 PM ? after her job in Seattle. She called back before the 20th and told me that since she was going to work only once per month that she needed to change the time to Monday. Since I?d already made arrangements for my son after school and believe that every other week would be better anyhow, I asked to switch me to every other week. She agreed and we were all set. My understanding was that Pam would work for three hours every other Wednesday and get done what she could. Since I live in an 850 sf house, seemed reasonable. Pam arrived at 3:00 PM. I had printed out a page for her that included our alarm system, my cell and office numbers and some projects that were being completed at the house in the next 4 to 6 weeks to let her know that whatever she could get done it 3 hours was fine and to not worry about not getting to everything. I told her that I would just leave payment in an envelope with her name on it on a bookshelf. Pam called me at 4:30 PM and told me that she wasn?t able to work me into her schedule and that I should look for a new house cleaner and reminded me that she had told me what her billing rate was and that she didn?t appreciate that I didn?t give her full payment. The envelope that I had left was (1) $20 bill short. I came back to the house within a few minutes and added the addition $20 bill. The day of interaction was so strange that I emailed Pam offline before posting this just to find out if she wanted to offer any additional explanation. Pam reiterated that ?I thought the job would be too much for me? and that it made her uncomfortable that I intentionally left out $20.00. And that she isn?t used to being paid in cash? She also reminded me that she?s not obligated to keep me as a client. A little commentary: In my business, I would have paid her part of the full payment up front and the rest upon completion. For large jobs at my house, I pay once the job in completed. However, for small cost services I have performed at my house, I?m much more laid back about it and I pay in cash and the vendors provide a receipt. I take out several hundred dollars in cash each month and have my little envelopes left here and there for various services and shorting Pam $20 was unintentional. If my intension was to swindle $20 from Pam, leaving her alone in my house with my alarm code wouldn?t have been part of the deal. She did a good job on the cleaning but still pretty strange experience overall.

I found Pam on Craigslist. She responded immediately to my request for information. She is always punctual, does a thorough job and is very good about responding when we need to get in touch. She is really accomodating when we have to adjust our schedule. I highly recommend her.

Pam always arrives on time, ready to work. She is friendly, always professional, and competitively priced. We are very glad to have Pam as our housekeeper.
