Northwest Cane is a one or two man shop who typically do cane repair but they do other things too. My grandfather's original repair was failing, so he re-repaired it and resurfaced the finish in a very good way. I will definitely use him again and recommend him for sure.
Description of Work: He repaired my great-grandmother's rocker. He did the structure of the chair, not the fabric.

They were great. The work was done at their facility. They are the only ones that could do the work and they were highly recommended. They were very, very nice and the work was fine. They took great care in fixing them since they are very old.
Description of Work: I used Northwest Cane Supply to reseat some antique cane chairs last November. They re-did three chairs and fixed another one.

Over the years, I have had about 20 chairs repaired by Rick and a couple of tables. He is very responsible and does a good job. Caning is not inexpensive; it takes a lot of hand work, which takes time. If the furniture is painted, he will match the paint, if necessary, and touch up the paint.
Description of Work: I have a lot of wicker furniture and furniture with cane seats, so I have gone over to Ballard for years to have them repaired by Rick, the owner. He does an excellent job, suggests the best way to repair them. He isn't very fast, but he has a lot of pieces in his shop all the time. He will sell you caning supplies, if you want to do your own.
