We hired Marlon and his crew in July to put a new CertainTeed Presidential roof on our home in Sammamish. After talking to three other roofing companies, we decided to go with MCS because they didn’t give us the hard core, sit down 40 minute sales pitch like the other three companies. Marlon came over, explained exactly what his company would do, climbed up on the roof to inspect it, then gave us his bid. He came in lower than two of the others and he was the only one that really inspected the roof, so we chose him. Best choice ever! His crew was great. They finished on time, were professional and cleaned up beautifully afterward. We’ve had a super wet winter and the roof and skylights are perfect - dry as a bone. Go with Marlon and MCS, they’re awesome!

We called for a quote and they came over in short order. We agreed on a price and start date. They arrived a day early with a full crew. Found more work than expected but did not increase price. They did an excellent job...we waited a week thru wet weather to check the leak. They took before and after pictures of the damaged areas. All was good. We would use them again when necessary. They were very responsive and professional.

Due to excellent reviews from Angie’s List, we decided to hire MCS Roofing and Construction. Marlon immediately replied to my e- mail and even called me directly to inform that he can check out our roof the next day. He showed up on time and told us he can repair the roof leak at a fair price. However, he advised us to change the roof in one year time to avoid further leak problem due to the poor workmanship and quality of our roof shingles. He offered us a great deal, and we agreed to completely change the roof instead of simply repairing it. The crew came the next day and finished the new roof installation in 3.5 days. They used good quality shingles that have a 15 year labor warranty. The crew clean up the worksite after their work is done. Our roof looks great and stands out in our neighborhood. They really did an amazing job, and we are really happy with their work. We will definitely recommend to everyone.

It went well. Luis was very polite and took care of the things that needs to be repaired in the roof. He showed me the pictures of the repair that he did in the roof and told me that everything else in the roof is okay. I will hire them again.

Marlon was available right away and he showed up in the morning and decided to do the repair that same day. He was able to find the location of the leak and made fixes that day and he also looked at other areas and replace some old items to prevent future leaks, all under the same cost. I would definitely recommend Marlon for roofing work.

I had 4 previous roofers / contractors out to try to find the source and repair. MCS was the first one to actually find the problem and fix it. I still appear to have slight leak caused by poor vent pipe connection inside my attic, so condensation can cause damp conditions in my attic/ceiling. But this is not necessarily a roofing contractor job to fix.

He checked roof condition, repaired some problems with missing tiles, caulked several spots, and secured some flashing that had peeled up. He showed me pictures, which I appreciate. Can't be sure until the next heavy rain but it looks good.

Marlon immediately responded to my e-mail and came out even earlier than he first estimated-- just a few days after we talked. He and his partner looked at my very very steep roof, with very limited access points-- and they kindly decided they could do a repair and maintenance check for me. They replaced a row of shingles and caulked around some of the vents and pipes on one side of the roof that had the wind damage. The communication was excellent, and Marlon texted photos of the leaking areas and vents. He also confirmed that I do need a new roof, showed me more pictures of other areas of the roof that I cannot see from the ground. The pictures were very helpful coming from someone who actually went up to view the entire roof. He offered to send me a bid for roofing options for next spring when I may be ready, and I will definitely consider hiring Marlon and his crew.

He quickly answered my call and made a special trip out to take a look at the problem and fixed the leak the same day. All for a price well within my budget. Highly recommended. The owner showed up the next day with a helper and ladder in hand and immediately began performing the needed repairs. The job was executed in a thorough and professional manner. All leftover debris was cleaned up and removed from the premises. And I was given a 1-year guarantee against any further leaks to boot. I was so impressed with MCS Roofing & Construction timing, efficiency and craftsmanship, I decided then and there to request that he send me a bid to not only re-roof my house but also gave him my sister's address as well...so till then...to be continued...

Marlon answered the phone and came to our home after hours to assess the condition of our roof and to provide an estimate. We were not in an emergency situation (no leaks) but his responsiveness was excellent. We set an appointment two weeks later and he came out and repaired quite a few areas of the roof. He took before and after pictures to document what he had done.
