The front brakes on my truck were seizing so it required towing by AAA to KC Martin. I've used them for over 12 years now and have never found them un-trustworthy. They provided a quick diagnostic and estimate for the problem. The work was done in one day. Not much more to say. I'll continue to use them in the future as I've been very happy with every service I've had them do.

KC Martin Transmission is awesome. They originally had my 2001 Honda Odyssey (195,000 miles on it) this past January to rebuild my transmission. They provided me with a free loaner vehicle while they worked on my transmission. They had my van about a week and I drove theirs until mine was fixed. Andy in the front office always kept me in the loop as to what was happening with my repair. They provided me with a 2 yr warranty on the rebuilt transmission. Last week I called KC Martin Transmission because I was noticing issues with my transmission hesitating when I tried to accelerate in the mornings. I took it to the shop Tuesday morning and explained that I was noticing the problem seemed to occur when the engine was cold - either overnight or after it sat all day (cooler days). A technician and I took it for a drive and of course, it didn't act up because the engine was warm. They kept my van (and gave me another free loaner van) so they could test it in the morning again. They were able to get similar issues, so then they did some more testing on it and determined the torque converter was in the early stages of failing. They replaced the torque converter at no charge as it was still under warranty. I am very happy with KC Martin Transmission and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing repair work. The price I listed above is approximate, as the rebuild took place 6 months ago and I don't remember the exact cost.

I found KC Martin through Angies List specifically as I've heard transmission shops can be the worst for gouging. KC Martin had a decent reputation and was certainly better than any other in my local area so off I went. I had just purchased my 67 Mustang and it was having some problems with the "kickdown" which is when the automatic transmission will shift to a lower gear if needed when you hit the accelerator hard. I went in and worked with Erich who seemed to run the show. He put the car up on the lift and quickly diagnosed my transmission as needing work in the valve body to fix the issue. he said the kickdown wouldn't work no matter what he did and they would need to take it apart to find out why. He told me they had 4-5 C4 transmissions "upstairs" so it would only be labor as they would have any part I needed so that sounded fair enough. Told me to just schedule a time and bring it back when I could drop it off. He told me the labor would be unknown but somewhere in the 4-5 hour range most likely. Subsequently, I had a mechanic friend at my house a few months later helping me with some other projects on this car and when he was under the car, he commented that my kickdown cable was completely disconnected. We gathered some small parts to reconnect it and he adjusted it and lo and behold, the kickdown works great. There was nothing needed at all! I was certainly glad to have it working but pretty miffed that KC had tried to hose me for $400-500 in labor for something which was never faulty. I will never go back for sure.

Very impressed with friendly, helpful attitude of all I spoke with and my inspection of the work performed confirmed the work done was excellent.

I checked out several repair shops. KC seemed to be on the low end price wise and very knowledgeable. The repair works as expected. They thoroughly explained everything they did and why, then what to do to care for the rebuilt transmission.

It seems like every thing was working correctly. I was disappointed with staff not calling me and telling me that need a extra day. I called a 1/2 hour before they closed and I ask if my status of my vehicle but I was told that they need more time to finish the work in which they had all day. It made life hard to found out the last moment to find transportation for myself and daughter the next day!

Thourough explanation of all the possible problems with not getting cooled air. Ran the diagnostics, discovered a potentially costly problem but gave less expensive option and actually recommended that I go that way. Very knowledgeable, clearly experts at this and very patient in explaining the entire challenge. Nice people to work with.

Regular mechanic was booked out and Toyota dealer said there was 3 hour wait. Stopped at KC Martin main shop and they were slammed with work also. They got on phone to their transmission location who said they could take me right away. Went there and nice waiting area to use while work was done

They were thorough and complete. They do the job well and do it right the first time. I don't like going to car repairs but other than that they did a good job. They've always been competent in dealing with my problems.

We have been going to them off and on for years. We were going there regularly and then we had something major come up and we found out another place offered a 6 month for interest free. They are cash only not credit. They do great work, are timely and appropriate.

I've been using them for years and years. They're very reasonably priced, and they don't try to sell you something you don't need. They do very good, and I can discuss the car with them. We talk about what needs to be done or whatever it was. They're quick, reliable and professional. They have the best auto mechanics I have ever dealt with.

They informed me that my catalytic converter and an oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. These were causing the 'check engine' light to be on. Estimate was 2400.00 ... this was more than I wanted to put in my vehicle at this time. It's a 1996 with only 55,000 miles on it and I drive it only on sunny days during the summer. They then let me know that the sensors weren't completely blocked and that I could drive it for maybe another year (since I only put about 3000 miles a year on it) or until it know longer passed emissions ( it passed emissions last year). They said I would not be doing any harm to the vehicle by driving it with the light on. I will notice deceased gas mileage and then loss of power as the parts become more blocked, then I will NEED to replace these items. I appreciate them giving me the information and not trying to do a pressure sell for spending the money on the spot for repairs that I can put off for a little while. The people were friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain things for easy understanding.

KC Martin is just a great company to work with. They're incredibly honest and several times have charged us less than initially quoted because not all the service was needed. We have been consistently going to them for about 10 years and they're just a great group of honest, hard-working professionals. Highly recommend them!

I know it went well and was very satisfied with the work. I know one of the mechanics and he is very good and he is still there.

I like that they give AAA discount. They have given a loaner car in the past for free, which I like. I think their prices are comparable to other places you go and they are quick and you can easily get right in and they have it done pretty fast.
