He was in our area and he was on time to our house when he did the quote. Price is average and the quality is good.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal as I often do to try out a new service provider. 40 hours labor for $1499. Owner of Greenridge, Darrin came to the property very quickly after the "Deal" was purchased. We planned the scope of the job; I also asked Darrin to bid on another project, which he did very quickly. On the service day a crew of five arrived at the property. They were prompt; easy to communicate and work with, and maintained a friendly, positive, focused attitude all day....even though the job threw a few surprises their way ! These surprises included a much more labor intensive and heavy materials in the old retaining wall; access difficulty on the property; dead fish on the beach, and a hidden wasp's nest in the garden. The crew did a beautiful job with the retaining wall and beach, the gardens haven't look this well attended in years, and all the trees and shrubs are looking beautiful. At the end of the day it was clear we needed a few more pavers, which were out of stock. Darrin was very prompt in finding the items needed, some of the crew returned two days later with the pavers...and quickly finished the work. The whole experience was great...and we plan to use Greenridge for some other projects...and we hope to engage them for a bi-annual yard pruning/ clean up. I would recommend this company to others.

Greenridge Landscaping had done some work for me several years ago so they were my first choice when I needed help this time. I contacted the company by filling out a form on their website on the weekend. Darrin, the owner was very responsive. He emailed back right away. He came out the next week to give me an estimate. The initial estimate included more work than I could afford so I emailed Darrin back and broke out the details based on what I asked for. We had one or two email exchanges and he was always patient and kind as I adjusted what I wanted and could afford at the time. His prices are very reasonable but I have a large yard in need of lots of work at this time. After we agreed on the scope of the project his crew came out and mowed & trimmed my grass and moved a small plum tree. The price they charged is very fair and the work was well done. I will definitely call him again when I need more work done!

Good. It's not leaking anymore and found the leak right away.

After I got the bid from the owner in the beginning of the week, he sent out three workers on Thursday. They showed up promptly and got to work. It took them almost 8 hours. This was for a Spring cleanup and thatching plus topsoil and replanting seed. They made the yard look great. They only missed seeding a spot that they misunderstood thinking I wanted it left not seeded so no big deal. I bought my own seed and did it myself. I think the price was high and I did not get other quotes but I really needed to get this done and didn't have the manpower on my end to do it so it worked out great.

Everything turned out very well. They were very friendly and professional. They instill confidence in their customers and did a nice job.

He was prompt, efficient, came out and fix areas where the sod didn't take and answered all my questions.

They gave us a thorough proposal, came when they said they would, and they worked very closley with us to make suer they did what we wanted. They did an excellent job, they pruned everything in a manner that we really like and we were very impressed!

The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. Hats-off to a job well done.

Darren French is the owner of Greenridge Landscaping and he is excellent. He answers and returns calls always within 24 hours and they guys he has do the work are so respectful and accommodating. He is very helpful and listens well. They pay attention to all the details and the work is great. They are reasonably priced and he always sticks to his estimates. He is very fair.

Maintaining the front and back yards at our home has always been a bit of a struggle. The back yard is around 50' x 50' and the front yard is about a quarter of that size. Mowing was usually accomplished on a semi-regular basis but weeding and edging were usually too much to tackle in the evenings and never seemed to have the highest priority on weekends. After hearing good things from a co-worker about Angie's list, we joined and quickly found a few potential landscaping companies to give us a quote. Most that we contacted did not provide service in the north end (Marysville) but we were able to find one, Darrin French with Greenridge/Wolfe's Landscaping that was able to come out to give us a quote. For the initial cleanup (mowing, trimming, weeding and cutting back some blackberries that had grown over the fence) we were quoted around $360 and ongoing maintenance (bi-weekly to include mowing, trimming and weeding) was $50/visit. After our call back to Darrin, he arranged to have the initial mowing done quickly (within a couple days) and the yard is beautiful. : ) They were able to trim it shorter than we had ever been able to and it looks great! They were back about a week later to complete the weeding/trimming and the flower beds have NEVER looked better. Amazing work. The bi-weekly maintenance started one week after that so I think we are on a regular rotation and should be set moving forward. We just received our first monthly bill and I was pleased to see the overall cleanup cost was LESS than the original quote - we paid around $250. That plus the first regular maintenance visit of $50 totaled $300. Overall I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Darrin at Wolfe's Landscaping (425) 334-5790.

Nothing extraordinary stands out except they were good.

My experience with Greenridge was terrible.---They were to remove laurel hedges well below ground level to prevent regrowth and appeared to be doing that. However one time I left the house to run errands and came back to what looked like impressive progress. After they left for the day I took a shovel to the area and realized while I was gone they had merely cut the hedges down and covered the stumps with dirt. I complained, they begrudgingly did it right. I asked them to fill the holes where the hedges were with clean topsoil (the purchase of this was included in the job price), however I caught them filling the holes with rocks and root-laden soil they excavated from the patio site (Note that I was also paying for the disposal of this soil). To this day (2 years later) it is nearly impossible to mow this area because of the roots and rocks that are constantly surfacing here. --For the patio installation, I asked that they slope the patio away from the house to allow drainage of rainwater. After half the pavers were laid, I pointed out that the patio was sloping the wrong way. The employee told me it would be OK. When the patio was done it was still not fixed. I took a level and showed him it sloped towards the house--he didn't understand how to read the bubble on the level (!!) so I grabbed a basketball and set it in the center of the patio so he could see it roll downhill toward the house. I made them remove and re-install the patio.-- The quote for the crushed rock parking pad included excavation and leveling of the site, and installation of weed barrier and 4 inches of rock. They did NO excavation or weed barrier, just laid down a truckload of rock and smoothed it out when I wasn't home. This resulted in some areas that had 4 inches of rock, but most of the area had less than 1 inch. We have since tried to fix this ourselves because at that point we just wanted this company OFF our property.-- They left cigarette butts all over the place.-- They drove the bobcat back and forth over my front lawn instead of using the concrete driveway that runs next to it! I had to ask them twice to stop driving over my lawn and killing my grass.--The laurel hedges they "pruned" were absolutely butchered. You can STILL see the damage they did to them, it looks terrible.-- They frequently asked to borrow my tools and equipment-- chainsaw, axe, shovels, etc. Because of the experience, the price on some items was reduced, I was given an apology letter and they made the offer to come back the next year to prune the hedges again. No Thanks.

We pay an even amount all year, even though they come more in the summer. They are reliable and friendly. Sometimes they don't do exactly what I want them to, but I found that I need to communicate with them more. Today I actually met with the guy and told him the specific things I wanted done this spring in the yard and he started working on them. I'll probably have their efforts directed where I want it. They are really good at pruning fruit trees.

They did the job in a timely manner and on budget.

I use them all the time. I love them. They are fine. When I need summer and winter clean up, then I contract with them for that. They do pruning as well. They do a great job. The last time I spent $300 for cleaning up my front yard. I find them to be very reliable. I like their service. I have a good relationship with their owner who sometimes comes out himself and works at my house. I signed up with them when I moved into this about six years ago. They were recommended by a neighbor and I had them come out. I have been using them ever since. I don’t think that they are overpriced.

A typical gardening visit was about $390. They were prompt and courteous. The gardening work wasn't really the style I wanted so I don't use them any longer. It was really a stylistic issue more than the quality of work. I might use them for a special job but not for oncoming regular maintenance.

Excellent job and service! Would recommend them in a flash without any hesitation. Very professional, punctual and great trips.

We must have liked them because we asked them to come back again and so this was the second time we used them.

I have been using Darrin French and his company for five years, and the quality of his work has been consistently good. This was the first time I had used him for the sprinkler system and now I wish I had done that from the start. Darrin is always prompt, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
