Brett Bloomberg came out to the house, and after looking at the job, estimated cost to fix at $1500- $2000. He then said he was not charging for the current trip, as it was late and he was going to come in the morning to start work. We then said that if we dug up the lawn it would save money off the bill. He said the procedure was to install a clean out drain, scope the sewer with a camera, and clear the sewer with a "cable." We did as he asked and dug up the lawn. He came out the next morning with his apprentice, and proceeded to do as he promised. They installed the clean out, scoped the sewer, and proceeded to "cable" the sewer. Apparently, however, the "cable" was too small, as it became tangled in the roots instead of clearing them, it became stuck. At this point he called the City of Bellevue. The city utility department came out with trucks and men and basically took over the job. Brett and his apprentice stood around and watched while the city employees "jetted" the pipes and unstuck Brett's "cable," They also got the roots cleared from the sewer. Brett presented his bill. $3,847.80!. ONE DAYS' WORK. TWICE HIS ESTIMATED AMOUNT. I feel lied to. He refused to leave the jobsite until he got paid. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS...

Non functioning furnace was inspected with the diagnosis being that the electrical input to the furnace was not adequate. Unfortunately, representative could not trouble shoot the electrical further, recommending an electrician. Once electrical issues were resolved, furnace was fine. Unfortunately two different companies to solve a relatively minor problem was disappointing, but a solved issue was the end result.

The repairs were done well in 1.5 hours. The tech was excellent. However the cost was $611 which included a trip charge. This is much to expensive.

They are very nasty, they're very bad. The owner came over and yelled at us. I told them it takes a while to take a loan equity and they got mad. It was a mess. These people don't have a right to be in business, it was terrible. I don't want anybody to go through what I've gone through.

The guy that came out was awesome. Honest, polite, and hard working. He showed up on time, did the work, kept up informed the whole way through, and restored our confidence. We had another company out prior for the same service but the person didn't even start, rather just wanted to scare is into getting a whole new heat pump and furnace, saying it was on the brink of failure with an estimate between $12K-$20K. We said we wanted a 2nd opinion and thank goodness we did. Day and Nite acknowledged that our system was at 14-15 years, but saw no need to replace. We will call Day and Nite for our next maintenance for sure!

Our hydronic heating stopped working after a power outage, so I paid extra for their emergency service to have a technician visit and diagnose the problem during the weekend (just before Christmas, no less!). The person on the phone was very friendly, and a technician named Todd arrived within the hour. Unfortunately, the issue required a part that had to be ordered and with the holiday we had to wait a few days. Once the part arrived, Day & Nite called right away and I was able to schedule Todd to come out the next morning. Todd was no-nonsense in the good way -- you can tell he's a skilled professional and cares deeply about his work. It took him about a little over an hour to replace our valve, and when I was paying he answered a number of questions I had about the heating system's overall setup and general maintenance that should be performed. We inherited this system from the previous home owners -- and I have zero previous experience with a hydronic system -- so I really appreciated the extra time Todd gave to explain more about it.

Scheduled appointment and adjust my schedule to meet appointment time . This guys sent me a text at the last minute that they can not keep appointment time . Will never recommend

CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE ON A JOB, I WANTED TO HAVE A COMPLETE RE-PIPE, A NEW ENDLESS HOT WATER HEATER AND HAVE A NEW HEAT PUMP HEATER/AIR INSTALLED AND HAVE THE OLD WATER TANK AND UNDER THE HOUSE FURNACE REMOVED. JUST TO GET AN ESTIMATE WOULD BE AT THE END OF THE MONTH (23 DAYS) AND THE WORK WOULD BE PERFORMED AFTER THAT. HEY THEY ARE BUSY I GET IT BUT HIRE SOME PEOPLE MAN, WHO HAS A MONTH TO WAIT?

It went well. They came out on a Sunday afternoon (of course it was more expensive because it was the weekend and their emergency hours). They completed the repair, and then checked over our furnace while they were there. We also signed up for a reduced rate for a yearly servicing of the furnace. We then called back and had them service our air-conditioning unit and signed up for a reduced rate for yearly servicing. Very professional.

Everything went smoothly and all is working well.

All is well! No more leaks. Brett and his teammate took all the time necessary to find the leaks and fix them -- even though it meant crawling around under the house to do so.

Went good, had problems a week later called them came the next day fixed it.. great service

This was an excellent customer service experience. I selected Day & Nite Plumbing & Heating in Lynnwood, WA on the strength of Angie's List reviews that describe actual furnace repair work rather than other companies that seem more focused on doing furnace replacements. (Day & Nite do replacements, of course, but the reviews cited a fair number of repairs as well.) Although my gas furnace (a Carrier Weathermaster 800) is about 20 years old, my circumstances didn't allow replacement. When I contacted Shondra in their office about available appointments they were booking several days out, but were able to move it up a day and a half which was very appreciated given the cold nights. Tyler was the HVAC-R Technician sent for my appointment and he was amazing - both personable and knowledgeable, he listened to my concerns and quickly diagnosed and fixed the unit. He also understood that I am someone who likes to know details on what is being done and why – not too much detail, but enough so I felt informed which reassured me. Tyler’s great customer service and positive attitude, on top of his knowledge and experience with the technology impressed me so much I signed up with Day & Nite for their annual furnace maintenance plan next winter and will happily refer my friends and family for their furnace needs. I have yet to experience the Day & Nite plumbing services, but on the strength of my experience with Day and Nite and support by Tyler, I will give them a call when that need arises. (FYI: The approximate service cost of $600 included the ignitor part less a 10% customer discount for signing up for the maintenance plan, the trip charge and that for next winter’s maintenance trip, plus tax.)

The young man wasn't here long at all. He quickly figured out the problem and fixed it in 20 minutes.

I asked Day and Night to give me a bid for a heat pump. This was a refresh of one provided several years ago. All I wanted was a copy of the one provided previously. Instead they kept promising to call back. Finally the technician called, said that he would come out to the house and re-bid the project,... I never heard back. After a final call to determine status, I give up. I guess they're too busy.

It went ok. The technician insisted that the price I was quoted was incorrect and charged me more. I felt stuck because I had arranged to be home for this. Then he gave me a discount because I was not happy about it. Probably broke even. Even so, it was a lot of money for such a short inspection. I have had them do work for me before and felt I got good service, however, I am going to see if I can find a more reasonably priced company in the future. Already found someone else to do plumbing work.

They were very prompt but they were very expensive, so I think I could've gotten a better deal. Using Total Protection, they're supposed to pay for if your water goes out or your oven goes out. It's kind of like an insurance policy. They were almost completely unresponsive, and then when they did, they told me to go ahead and get a quote and get this person to go ahead and do the work and then they would pay. Well then they only paid half of what the guy billed me. I don't have them anymore. Day & Nite Plumbing, who did the work, it's kind of like - I think because when you're in an emergency type of situation like that, and I mean I had no hot water for like almost a week and it was because of this other company - they charged a pretty high price. They charged extra for haul-away, and extra for this and extra for that, and that's some of the stuff that the insurance company just wouldn't pay for, and they should have covered that as part of the service. Anyway, I didn't have a good experience. I had used them one time before, they serviced my furnace, and when they serviced my furnace they told me that I needed to have the burners replaced and that would cost about $600 and I didn't wanna do it because my furnace is too old. That was okay with them, they didn't have a problem with that. But then I had another guy come out and service my furnace about a year later and he said there's nothing wrong with your burners, they're fine. So now I'm kind of leery - I'm a little leery. For responsiveness I would give them an A; they were very responsive and I think they were professional. I don't know if I would use them again. I think I would get more quotes and pricing. They did good work and they were very professional and they did respond, but I think they were more pricey than I needed to pay.

Took off work to make appointment time. Plumber was really nice and spent a lot of time discussing what I needed, however never received a quote. Called 3 times and left messages to get the quote and they still have yet to send it.

Very well. Workers' booties protected the floor and carpet. Mr. Bloomberg tightened two loose bathroom faucets for me also.

Overall rating as "C" only because of the price... I didn't understand flat rate pricing as there was no breakdown between the costs for parts and labor when I finally received the invoice...The next day Overall cost seemed excessive but it was my fault as I agreed to the price before the service was performed...Approximately 1 hour of labor The cost of parts had to be minimal but no idea of their cost because it was not indicated on the invoice....

I was very pleased. The job was relatively simple. Remove a 30-year-old shut off valve behind our gas range and install a new valve. No effort was made to make it seem like a more complicated job or bump up the price of the basic valve (another plumbing service wanted to charge $300 for a $10 part). Day & Nite only charged me for time, no charge for the valve. I will try them again for my next job.

Things went great - the plumbing was well thought out and Dorian did a great job on everything. There was one minor issue with a drain elevation that he came back out and adjusted. Definitely would hire again.

My husband said it was very good. I was not there.

Smoothly. They gave me the best service possible for a reasonable price.
