 + 1 moreWe first met several times in person at their facility, at our home and through email correspondence, to come up with a plan for our new kitchen. Our Creative Kitchen and Bath designer was able to incorporate both my Husband's and my ideas into a plan and look that we both liked. We made several changes as the design was finalized to keep the project within our budget. We did not have a strict timeline, as we waited years for this remodel, and our major goal was a quality job. There were no major concerns, and any issues that came up were easily resolved. Our finished kitchen is everything we wanted and more! We love the color scheme, cabinets are very functional and love the style. The quartz counter tops, flooring, paint and cabinet all complement each other very well. We are very happy with our new kitchen.......now we just need to save up for the bathroom remodels!
Description of Work: Total kitchen remodel for 38 year old home: Removed asbestos flooring, ceiling, cabinets, countertops, back door, old lighting fixtures, closed off old kitchen entrance and created new entrance opening kitchen to living room and dining room. All new wallboard, paint, flooring, lighting,cabinets, counter tops, kitchen Island created with sink plumbing relocated to island.

Tom organized the phases of the project. He was always accessible and responded to our questions promptly. Ron, the contractor, was dependable, efficient, and cheerful. His attention to detail is evident in the finished product. I would highly recommend Creative Kitchen & Bath, from start to finish.

 + -1 moreThe designer did a wonderful job incorporating our ideas with hers. The contractors were there when expected. There was a couple of problems that needed to be corrected. We were told that our satisfaction was the most important and those involved worked very hard and extra hours to resolve it to our satisfaction. Important because, stuff just happens!!
Description of Work: Starting designing in January of 2014 & started construction in August of 2014. Complete tear out and reconstruction of master bathroom.

Description of Work: I went with this company because they had a great designer. Unfortunately she left the company before the construction began. There were 2 main issues during construction. The glass deco tile was installed incorrectly and had to be replaced. I had spent a year looking for that glass tile. Since the installer did not know how to correct the problem I had to pick another deco tile in one day so as not to delay the project. The other issue was inconsistent grout color. All the grout was supposed to be the same color, but the floor tile has very light grout and the wall tile has very dark grout. I was told they were both the same color and nothing was done to correct the grout color. Very disappointing! I had to choose a different grout for the new deco tile as the grout available was too dark. I had no design help making these choices so it was very difficult. It turned out ok, but it wasn't the bathroom I thought I was getting. I had a deadline for completing the project which they did try to meet, but due to the tile issue, it was finished about 2 weeks late. When we finally used the shower for the first time, water started pouring out of a light fixture below the bathroom. They did come in to fix it right away. They had to cut a hole in the ceiling around the light fixture to find and repair the problem. It wasn't a pleasant experience to say the least.

 + -1 moreCKB's designer, Dick Pope, was able to use the cabinets we had previously purchased when working with another company. His bathroom layout was more efficient than the other contractor's, so we didn't need to expand one wall outward -- a significant savings. Dick worked with us to ensure the master bathroom and bedroom reflected our tastes, but also helped us choose materials that would work well together. The craftsmanship of the project is absolutely first rate and we are enjoying the finished product so much! Our friends are knocked out by the design and the look, describing it as a luxury hotel suite. The subcontractors they chose were professional and a real pleasure to work with. Tom Owen was quickly responsive to our concerns; he returns calls promptly! The project took longer and cost more than we wanted, but we did make upgraded design choices along the way. We also had to wait a few weeks before they could begin our job. They only work one job at a time, so you know that your job is getting their full attention once they begin the work. Without a doubt, we would consider using them again. We enjoy the results of their work every day, and feel that we have definitely gotten what we paid for.
Description of Work: We hired CKB to do a complete remodel of our master bedroom and master bathroom, and the guest bathroom on the same floor. This included most design and build services. The rooms were nearly completely gutted: new windows, new French doors, new walk in closet, new interior doors and trim. New everything in the master bathroom, where the plumbing was pretty complex: soaking tub, multi-headed shower, 2 sinks and toilet in the master, and replacing the toilet and sink and cabinets in the guest bathroom. Lots of beautiful tile in the bathrooms, great quality. Coffee bar was added into the master bedroom. All new lighting in the 3 rooms. They even wall mounted our plasma TV.

 + -1 moreHad an appointment, arrived at store to meet with planner; she forgot appt. Person at the store apologized, but did not offer to set up a new appnt, FINALLY, 3 weeks later someone called to set up a new appt. The man arrived at our home on time, surveyed kitchen job, took many measurements, discussed plans, etc.; said he would call us back in a week. Four weeks later he finally called, said he had to go out of town for family problem, but would get back to us the next week. Next week was over three weeks ago and we still haven't heard anything yet! I refuse to call them. If they don't want our business, I will not call them and beg. We have gotten better service at Lowe's. Would we give this company our business? NO, NEVER! They can't even get back to us with plans!
Description of Work: We contacted this company for help remodeling our kitchen, because we liked the cabinets they carried. They have been so slow getting back to us with plans that we wonder what would happen if we ordered from them. Would we ever get our cabinets???

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY IS WONDERFUL. THEY DID AN ENTIRE REMODEL OF A KITCHEN AND BATH IN OUR 1906 CRAFTSMAN HOME. THIS INVOLVED REWIRING, REPLUMBING AND BASICALLY GUTTING THE BOTTOM 1/3 OF OUR HOME. PERSONAL ATTENTION FROM THE DESIGN PHASE ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROJECT. EXCELLENT WORK THROUGHOUT.
