3 employees. Uses subs for plumbing, electrical, countertops, hardwood floor installation. No travels charges. No service fee. Extra charge for after hour service may apply.
Both projects went just as planned. His work is excellent, on time, on budget. Brad is punctual and flexible when plans changed part way through the job. The job began in March and was finished mid may so we could move in over the Memorial Day holiday. We have referred Brad to several friends and will continue to refer him in the future. When some one has called us to find out if they should hire Brad we always say yes. We highly recommend Brad Scott Interiors.

We started our bathroom renovation with the intention of doing most of it ourselves, save for electrics and plumbing. As the job progressed and our baby's due date got closer, we decided to get professionals in to finish the drywalling and the tiling if the price was right. Our electrician recommended Brad so we contacted him. Brad was very quick to respond and had a quote and contract in our hands within 2 days. We were impressed and so went ahead with Brad. Brad did most of the drywall work himself due to the relatively small size of the job, and got help from a colleague one day to ensure the project stayed on track. As Brad completed the dry walling, we asked him if he could get his tiler to come and quote, he arranged that on the day and once again we asked Brad to go ahead. The quality of both the drywalling and tiling was excellent and Brad and his tiler were both very clean and respectful of the rest of the house. While being very aware of our very real deadline (our daughter's birth!), Brad ensured that the work he and his tiler did were of high quality - he stayed beyond the initially quoted price and time to get a high-end finish on the drywalling. His tiler finished the work in 2.5 days, 0.5 days less that initially quoted, and the work was impeccable.
Description of Work: Drywall and tiling for a bathroom renovation.

He does not follow instructions, not verbally nor did he follow the blue prints provided by the architect. Many items needed to be corrected, and still do, as a result of not reading the prints and doing randomly. Very poor organization. Faked dryer venting in the mini dryer section with vents between floor spaces without any exit to outside of house (fire hazard). Kitchen island vent is not hooked up properly and is vented into the attic. Windows are of extremely poor quality (we asked for Paella and he talked us into Milgard, which I am told we received the cheapest windows he could find). Some windows are not level and off by 3/4" of an inch. Cheapest materials used on every situation unless we were able to catch him beforehand. Once he was paid 96% before walking off the job when he realized he could not rip us off for any more. Left us with 30 - 40% work finished. Trex railings paid for (over $2000) never arrived. Very many errors to clean up.
Description of Work: Major remodeling project. Added 6 feet to side of house in both the kitchen and dining room sections. Created master bedroom, bathroom, installed new floors throughout house. Added new heating duct, front and back Trex decks, subcontracted out the electrical wiring throughout kitchen and master bedroom, subcontracted out the plumbing, framing for new addition and dry-waller (dry-waller walked off the job because he was not getting paid from Mr. Scott). New entryway was created in the front of the house. Was suppose to do new counter tops and island section, install vanity in bathroom, and many other items.

Brad Scott had been recommended to us by friends. We called him and told him what we were looking for. We said we definitely wanted to do the bathroom and we wanted estimates on the basement, but we weren't certain how much of that we wanted to do. It depended on the cost. He brought over a plumber the following week, but never brought an electrician or anyone else to complete the estimate. We waited months and called, or emailed, a number of times. Finally, I believe 3 months later, he emails and tells us he's too busy to take the job. Very disappointing and frustrating.
Description of Work: We wanted a simple estimate on a small bathroom renovation and partial or full renovation of a basement.
