They come every year and maintain the furnace and clean stuff up. I feel they are not doing their best at keeping prices down. They clean up after themselves before they leave.

It went very well. The only downside is that their sales people want maintenance fees a year ahead of time. And I was told if you don't pay for this maintenance, you will be put lower on the list in an emergency. The pressure to do this was high, so I switched my annual maintenance to another company that allows me to schedule and pay as the work is done.

Ballard is AWESOME. They did a great job!!

It took about a week to complete this service and they did everything.

I used them several years ago to install my furnace.

I've used them a couple of years. They will come out in 24 hours if you have a service agreement. They will come out on a Saturday.

This was my 2nd hot water heater from these guys. The first one lasted just under 6 years so we called them to fix/replace. Ended up having to buy a new hot water heater, so splurged for the 10 yr. anode & warranty. When they installed the tank the upgraded anode did *not* fit. It took them about 3 months to fix it. Then, they could not even produce a copy of the warranty - we have to mail the manufacturer .

Excellent, the technicians take care to put on booties, they explain what they are doing and answered all questions completely.

It went well! It was excellent overall, from the bidding process to the installation. The only hiccup we encountered was prior to them coming out, I had a few questions for the sales rep and was not able to reach the gentleman I had originally spoken to. I was able to get the info from another rep, however.

Got the heater service but the technician was unable to offer any advice on humidity control and CO2 levels. - even though I stated this was a need when I made the appointment. The technician found a capacitor that tested outside of its specification and said it needed replacing. I asked "How much". He said $190. I said "wow". He said that the cost was for the part and installation. He already had the 'bad' part uninstalled to test it. He had a replacement part in the truck - all he had to do was get it from the truck. I said "No, lets not do it - I'll research it". I bough the part from Amazon for less than $10. So - there was a $180 charge for a 60 second walk to the truck to get a part - that's a huge "WOW". I feel like Ballard Natural Gas was about to rip me off big time, and if this is representative behavior, then they are probably ripping off the other people out there with similar overcharges. The service was around $200. Ballard Natural Gas installed our heater a couple of years ago - We had a good experience with them then.

The fellow who came out to develop an estimate was knowledgeable, professional, answered all of our questions, and provided good advice. The installers were quick and made sure we understood how the furnace worked and the adjustments that were available to us. Then we had questions, there was confusion about a rebate and we also needed our dryer vent cleaned. We contacted them 5 times. Each time we were told someone would call us back. Never happened. Took our money and dropped us.

Rob called on his way to our rental property. he schedule was between 2:00 and 5:00 pm and he called at 2:20. He found that the heat switch on the thermostat was turned to off. DOH! I expected to pay around 100 bucks as agreed at the time I made the appointment but he wouldn't take one penny! He stated that he didn't do any work so I didn't ow him anything. They also have a policy (I was told in advance) that they will not work on furnaces over 25 year old. Mine is 26 but they made an exception. After observing this level of integrity and professionalism, I cannot recommend these folks strongly enough. When it comes time to replace this aging furnace, I know who I'm going to call.

They have their acts together. They are a pretty big company. You can trust them.

I gave them an A because of the size of the job. They stuck to their price and it was done in a timely manner.

I can't believe they got it all done in a single day! Neil came out the prior week to walk us through the project and provide us a quote! We were booked for the very next week with the workers showing up right on time the day of our appointment. They knew exactly what needed to be done and spent hours running new gas/water lines underneath the house and venting through the attic! Overall, it went extremely well and was very professionally done!

Very disappointing service and will never use this company again. We over the years have use Washington Natural Gas and they always clean the furnace filters. We had use our fan this summer so really needed to have filters clean and that was the primary reason for the maintenance call. The service was reviewed and upon clarification learned that only the pre filter was cleaned and not the other filter. I was told that they do not clean it as part of service and I could clean it myself. The whole point of having them come out was to clean the filters. The furnace is in a standing crawl space but I am not comfortable climbing up there and that is why I am paying for a furnace service. For a total of 212.00 I really only received an inspection. This business is complete rip off and lacks any class. I called to complain to the supervisor and she just gave me the bottom line and could care less about losing a valued customer. We were thinking of getting our furnace replaced by them down the road but forget it. This is my first time in 10 years writing a review on Angies list and I have never felt this p***** off.

They did a great job. They were real careful of the woodwork and were very thorough. They made sure that the furnace worked properly as well.

Neil came and did the estimate after work when it was convenient for us. The bidding was easy and painless and he was incredibly responsive and helpful when answering questions about billing. There was no pressure to do anything we didn't want done. When it cam time for the install, the team was fast and polite and clean. When it turned out that one part was wrong (their own discovery) they gave an estimate for fixing it, but had it overnight shipped, and stayed late to finish the project on time. We went from a electric resistance furnace from the early '80s to a modern variable speed Heat Pump and couldn't be happier. Our bill was 50% less in the middle of winter.

Initially, everything was ok, we later found out that they completely forgot to install 1 vent running under the house to one of the rooms during installation. We are under the warranty but they wanted us to pay for a diagnostics test to be run. He couldn’t finish the job because it got dark. He came back the next day and had to charge another diagnostic charge. We let them service it for the first couple years after installation. Ballard does the job fast, and are not thorough. I stopped using them because we found a company that does work thoroughly, and cheaper. I wouldn’t recommend then to anyone
