Good. I called with the exact model I wanted to get quote & timeline. They had what I wanted in stock so I went in to purchase the next day. This was end of a week when prices change and the cost of the units was slightly more than quoted on the phone (still cheaper than Lowes, Home Depot & Sears), Geoff honored the phone quote though which was great. Installation was fast & the two gentlemen (MC & SF - I can't remember names, those are initials on sheet) were good. They called when they knew they were behind schedule to let me know about the delay. They were able to do the install quickly and give me a quick rundown on machines.

Scene 1, Act 4: Loyal customer of 20+ years (me): So, what you’re telling me is that you’d choose to lose a $30,000 sale over a request for a $600 discount? Michael Hoag (operations manager, Albert Lee Appliances): Yes, that’s exactly what I’m telling you. Albert Lee pays me to manage customers like you. Let me back up for a moment and give you some much needed explanation as to how Albert Lee lost a $30,000 sale and a lifetime customer. Scene 1, Act 1: In January, I met with an Albert Lee Appliance salesperson. He was quite knowledgeable and helped me to select a suite of kitchen appliances. We are currently undergoing a major home remodel, and I informed the salesperson that I wouldn’t need to take delivery of the appliances until about June. He assured me that I could make the purchase at any time, but that I should do it no later than March 31st, to take advantage of a 10% manufacturer discount. Like any other financially savvy person might do, I left my money invested to accrue interest until what I was told would be the last week to make my purchase. When I contacted Albert Lee in March, ready to make the purchase, I was informed that the price had gone up on my appliance package by $600. While this may only be a 2% price increase, I was at no point in time informed that waiting to purchase would incur a price differential, and told my salesperson as much. Scene 1, Act 2: I asked my salesperson to consult his manager, to which he replied that ultimately there was nothing that they could do for me, as Miele (the appliance brand) has UMRPs to which Albert Lee must adhere, lest they risk losing their license to sell the product. To discuss Minimum Retail Pricing is for another day, but needless to say, I knew that Albert Lee had it within their power to figure out a way to discount my purchase by $600 to honor the originally agreed upon price without violating the terms of UMRP. And let’s be honest here: at this point in my story, it’s no longer about saving $600, but rather about Albert Lee honoring their verbal contract. I honestly believed that the preservation of a 20+ year customer relationship would be worth that small sum to Albert Lee. Scene 1, Act 3: At this point in our story, I have spent about a week going back and forth with Michael Hoag, operations manager at Albert Lee. Michael is absolutely sticking to his guns, although he did offer me a range hood from the sales floor showroom—which, come on, when you’re building out your dream kitchen, the last thing you want is the floor sample. My final interaction with Michael was incredibly negative, and I was spoken to in a condescending manner, as if I didn’t understand the nature of retail business—which frankly is completely insulting, as I owned a successful retail store in Seattle for over 20 years, and am quite masterful at the art of customer service. In the end, Michael could have simply said, in conversation #1, “We strive to make our customers happy. $600 is a tiny drop in our revenue bucket. Let’s take $600 off your $1300 installation fee to make you happy and preserve our relationship. We are so sorry about the misunderstanding.” And you know what, I would have been a satisfied customer. End of story. Instead, Michael was condescending and righteous, and our last interaction ended as I stated at the opening of this review. (Scene 1, act 4). I hope that Albert Lee takes Jeff Bezos’words to heart: “If you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that. Word of mouth is very powerful.” I trust that at this point Albert Lee Appliance is also aware that negative customer experiences can and do carry the same weight. And by the way, we ended up buying our Miele appliances from a salesperson in Bellingham named Jeff, who works at DeWaard and Bode Appliances. He bent over backward for me, called me on the weekend even though he wasn’t scheduled to work, and has been nothing but lovely during our interactions. And, you should note, they deliver for free to Seattle. You’re welcome for the hot tip.
Description of Work: Albert Lee didn't do anything for me except send me elsewhere to spend $30,000 on kitchen appliances.

The purchase of the sub-zero refrigerator, wolf cooktop, double ovens, subzero wine refrigerator and beverage refrigerator & miele dishwasher. When we initially purchased the bulk of the appliances I was told the install would be No Charge, but now we are paying for it. The issues arose with install, An install we paid for! First three males walked into my house, if it were not for the name "Albert lee" on their shirts i would think they were thugs. Their shirts were not tucked in, & very wrinkled, their pants were riding low. Yes i know these guys work for a living, but they should look decent. It took three trips for the ALBERT LEE PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS to get it right. The first installers did not get the subzero plumb or the dishwasher level or the wolf cook to stable. My husband was able to move it.When they were moving the subzero into the house they scooted the antique buffet across the hardwood floors. Scratching the new white oak floors! When then second guy came he fixed the the subzero, but he bent the kickplate when he over screwed it . Team 3 comes out and they finally fix everything but it was only after speaking with the manager of the Lynnwood store in person and expressing our dissatisfaction with. An interesting conversation between my husband & the manager of the Lynnwood Albert Lee Store, It seems the Installation manager or store managers do not think that it is unusual to have to "get it right" on installations My husband requested some of our money back due to to the inconvenience, he was told that they(Albert Lee) did eventually get it right. Why did it take these PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS three times to get it right. We have not figured it out. If my husband did his job like these people did theirs, we would all be hearing about it.

Description of Work: We needed a new dishwasher & refrigerator. Salesperson was outstanding with his knowledge of several different models. I had lots of questions and he was able to answer them all. Decisions were made and delivery was available quickly. Installation of dishwasher was not able to be made at that time but shortly thereafter. Delivery persons were very careful and cautious having to go over hardwood floors and difficult turns. A+!

Albert Lee is the only place I purchase appliances. They not only have comparable prices to big box stores, they have the best in quality that you can trust. Furthermore, I completely trust the store employees to provide honest and complete information to best serve my needs. Kevin Eddy is outstanding and provides important information that makes decision making easy. They will also do their best to match prices. Another benefit to purchasing appliances at Albert Lee is that installation is free and there are no added costs for power cords or other parts. It is included. Other stores add on costs for essential items like power cords. I highly recommend Albert Lee over any other option for appliance purchases.

My wife and I found that we had to replace our 23 yr old coil slide in oven and stove top. The research began. I quickly discovered that the rest of the world has moved past coil stove tops. Only cheap one are out there these days. The rage appears to be glass tops. After much research and looking at my in laws scratched up glass top I simply could not go that route. But part of my journey was going out to look at the different stoves. I was really attracted to the Electrolux glass top. Very pretty. But I could find no one in the area who actually had one plugged in! I finally stopped by the Lynnwood store of Lee Roberts Appliance and told the salesperson Derek that I would just like to see one as I would like to see the displays etc. To my delight he arranged to have someone actually temporarily wire the display stove to make it happen. Very impressive. After doing more research I decided on a dual fuel gas range and because of the way I was treated originally I returned to Lee Roberts and bought the stove through Derek. The price was quite good, meeting the on-line costs. I did have to pay extra for a gas install which would have been free for a normal range. Overall I was treated extremely well. Delivery was prompt and on time. Nice staff. After delivery I decided to make a change to the back plate of the stove and ordered the part from Lee Roberts. Once again the price was good for an expensive item! But it came from GE lacking parts. After explanation Lee Roberts staff made arrangements to have the item replaced and took the return. I would not hesitate to recommend Lee Roberts and the staff there. I went to a number of stores and Lee Roberts was head and shoulders better than the others I dealt with.

Knowledgable salesperson who was in tune to my needs and wants. I received a great package quote, but after the completion of the sale, I had difficulty having the sales person follow through with additional information needed for both my contractor and the cabinet.makers. The products have not been delivered yet, so I can not speak to the final experience.

I had previously purchased a wall oven from Albert Lee and was pleased with the transaction. We had a 23 year old gas cooktop/downdraft combo and I wanted something new and more powerful. I visited Albert Lee in Lynnwood and Kevin Eddy was my salesperson. I was orginally looking at KitchenAid and he steered me in the direction of DCS by Fisher and Paykel, as it was a much better cooktop for the price. He said they also made a downdraft. About a week later he came out to the house to see my current configuration to make sure the new items would work. He told me I needed to have a double outlet installed and had to have the power converted from 110 to 220. He stated that, in the city of Edmonds, that work requres a permit and it could be as much as $135. He said their electrician would charge $175 to install the outlet and convert the power. I called an electrician who told me there was no permit needed and he would do the job for around $100. About a week after that, the installation manager came out to also make sure the new items would fit fine. He was a little concerned about one of the gas pipes, but figured the installers could probably pivot it to the other side so it wouldn't be in the way. He also told me that the power was already 220. So, I still needed to have the outlet installed, but didn't need the power converted. My electrician came out, removed the stove and downdraft and installed the outlet for $85. The next day the installers (Yuri and Gabe) came and in roughly five minutes they could see that there was no possible way the downdraft would fit without physically moving the entire gas line. While I was frantically trying to find a gas repairman to move the line (they were all backlogged at least a week), Yuri mentioned that he'd seen customers pay at least $600-800 for this type of gas line job. Now my new stovetop was getting really expensive. During the 2-3 hours the installers were at my house, they were on the phone a lot with the installation manager. The installers were very thorough and professional and they didn't want to leave the job without doing what they could (and I had no working stovetop). Yuri finally suggested I purchase a different downdraft that would accomodate my current gasline configuration. What a problem solver! I called the Lynnwood Albert Lee right then and had them send me the specs for new downdraft. The guys temporarly installed my new cooktop (without a downdraft) so I had something to cook on until the new downdraft could be installed. A week later Yuri and Gabe came back to install the new downdraft and reinstall the cooktop. This was on a Thursday. On Friday I noticed I could smell natural gas very faintly. No one else in the household could smell it. It was driving me crazy. On Monday morning I called Albert Lee and told them I could smell gas. They sent the installers back out by 8 that morning. The installers couldn't smell the gas, but their detector could. They checked their connections and determined it was coming from the cooktop. They said that would have to be repaired by DCS. They mentioned that I could turn off the gas under the counter in the meantime and turn it on when I needed to cook. The customer service dept called me later that morning and told me that DCS would need to have someone come out and look at the cooktop. She told me the earliest they could come was Thursday. Really??? It was a gas leak! So, I got on the phone with the installation mgr and with my salesperson and kept saying and quot;gas leak.and quot; That did the trick and they sent the installers back out on Tuesday morning with a brand new cooktop. This all wrapped up around 2 weeks ago. No gas leaks now (but I did buy a natural gas detector after that). All is good. In spite of all the mess involved with this, I'm rating Albert Lee well and would go back to them because they did make everything right in the end. And the installers, Yuri and Gabe, were awesome!

They are great. I get a good rate. They deliver for free. They pick up the old appliance for free. This company has been around since 30's and Albert Lee III is now in charge. They are really good. They are the biggest appliance sellers in Washington State. They are reputable. If I have a problem, they care of me. Their original facilities are as nice as the newer facilities. People still go there and buy.

I called Albert Lee Appliances desperate for a working dishwasher. Michael spoke to me, discerned my needs, and figured out the best and readily available dishwasher. I had already researched Consumer Reports and Angie's List to find good resources so I knew he was steering me in the right direction. He found a great installer (Damian John Construction) and was able to arrange to have the dishwasher installed only a couple of days later during the busy holiday season, so we would not have to host a paper plate Christmas Eve dinner for our family.

I needed to replace an electric downdraft range/oven. At Sears, I was told there is only 1 model available and it never goes on sale. At Albert Lee Appliances, there were 2 models available, and on sale! The salesman was very helpful, even providing me all the material I needed to mail in for rebates. The installers showed up on time, an installed the appliances efficiently and neatly. The installation manager resolved a small problem caused by my kitchen's configuration.

Nice showroom and fun to browse. I worked with Shane Tew and was impressed with his professionalism - he has the perfect balance of providing attention and information without making you feel pressured. He would disclose opinions about brand comparison when I asked, and was very knowledgeable about all products they carry. If you're in the market for appliances and want to shop without feeling like you're in a tank of sharks, definitely go here.
