Description of Work: They put in an underground sprinkler system in our front and back yard. They also brought in topsoil, leveled and seeded. They used a slice seeding method and the grass came up lush and green. Very happy with the results.

Description of Work: Project was a curved retaining wall about 20 feet by 3 1/2 feet connected to a curved set of steps up a grade to the front door. Whatcom Landscapes worked with us on design and materials, the work was done assiduously and expertly. Could not be happier with the finished product. One of the best experiences with a contractor I have had. Would give an A+ if there was a button for it, and I'm not an easy grader.

Despite a hectic spring schedule, Jon came out quickly to do an estimate and submitted his proposal shortly thereafter. He was helpful in revising the proposal through several variations as we came to an agreement. His crew began work soon and has been efficient and attentive to the quirks of our yard. They leave it looking beautiful and well-maintained. We look forward to many more seasons of working with this company.
Description of Work: Whatcom Landscapes has been a wonderful company with which to work. The initial estimate was quite comprehensive and Jon was flexible in adapting the services to what we ultimately needed. As subsequent questions arose over time, he is quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls with explanations that provide context for his suggested services. His crew is prompt, professional, and efficient, always leaving a note to confirm their work. The cutting, trimming, and flower bed upkeep makes the house look wonderful. We are excited about upcoming plantings and will update the review when that has been completed. We highly recommend Whatcom Landscapes without reservation. This is a great company and their services have been exemplary.

+ 1 moreThis cleanup was massive. The guys were professional, on time and hard working. They did exactly what they said they would do. No hidden costs and no add on costs. They came back and did more cleanup after the frost thawed. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Description of Work: Jon and associates did a huge yard cleanup that included removing leaves, compost pile, trimmed bushes and trees. This included hauling away all the debri. They came back per our request and did more work to complete the job.

+ 1 moreThere's not much that I enjoy more when I come home than coming home to a beautiful yard! Thanks to Whatcom Lands this is true again. We built the house over the winter and although weather delayed some of the work we are now able to enjoy a well landscaped yard. They came out before the building started to help understand our vision for the yard and worked with us over time to develop the finished product. They were flexible, cost conscience, and produced quality work. They worked well with the builder and other subs and were responsive to our questions and ideas. We loved that they communicated with us proactively when things got off schedule so that we weren't left wondering about when work would be done. Anyone who comes to our place is sure to comment on how great it all looks!
Description of Work: Whatcom Landscapes worked with us through all phases of the project. They started when all we had were house plans and an empty lot and ended by installing the drip system for the hanging flower baskets. They did everything in between from dirt work, building landscape walls, installing irrigation throughout, selecting plants, planting beds, hyrdoseeding, mulch, and more.
