Overall it went very well. It took quite awhile to get an appointment for them to come out, mostly I believe due to their work load. On the day of our appointment the electrician arrived on time and was busy for quite awhile trying to play detective regarding our lighting problems. We had a circuit error causing some of the lights and outlets to work intermittently. He finally found the problem in one outlet that had a spring type ground and wasn't connecting, causing the whole circuit to stop working. He was at work the entire time he was here, was very knowledgeable, polite, and pleasant. We were extremely pleased to have our lights working again and would definitely call Hamer Electric for future work. The price was well worth the service provided.

Tuesday, I had uninstalled a hard wired dishwasher while demolishing some kitchen cabinets. When we flipped the power back on a short was created and blew the connected GFI outlet and several surge protectors all over the house. Our lights in the whole house started flickering every time the refrigerator compressor cycled on. Time to call the electrician. Weds morning, call and get on the books. First available was Hamer Electric said and quot;Yes, we can get out to you this afternoon about one.and quot; and quot;Perfect,and quot; I said and quot;I need to run across town and run some errands.and quot; The scheduler said, and quot;Great, our electrician will call you on his way to your house.and quot; On my way into town at 9:45 am, the electrician calls me. I explain what's going on, let him know that yes, someone is there and could you make sure to take a look at the panel as the issue is all over the house. He says what and I tell him again and quot; The lights flickering are all over the house could you check to make sure the panel doesn't need to be replaced?and quot; He is let in the house by my project buddy. He is once again told the issues. Checks the wires and the outlet. He comes out replaces the blown GFI with one he has in the truck for 16.43 (outlet only - no cover) and looks at the panel and make sure all the connections are tights. Then says we need a second neutral line and the double breaker that we have need to be two singles. Says there's nothing more for him to do, leaves and says he'll call back that afternoon to schedule the coming back out to put that second neutral into the panel. 4:30 that afternoon no call. I call him at ten to five and he says and quot;Oh, I'll have to get a hold of the scheduler and get you on the schedule.and quot; The scheduler calls me back says and quot;We can't see you until Tuesday. I will schedule my best guy to come out. He'll be there by noon.and quot; I let him know that's great but we're still having the same issue I called about and if you could fit me in that would be great.and quot; Tuesday comes and goes no call. I get a call that Friday asking and quot;When would be a good time for them to come out.and quot; I've already called another electrician. I get a bill on the following Tuesday for the dishwasher installation they completed for me with two hours of works and parts for over 200.00 and travel time from Longview, WA. I called. Explained the issue. Paid the bill. Feel cheated. If you want an electrician that will listen to you, call Can Do Electric. They came out, listened to me, diagnosed the problem as a faulty neutral line, called to have the PUD come out to trace the line as it was a whole house issue. In about 90 minutes. Yes, it was an issue with the line coming into the house from the street.

We called them the morning before Thanksgiving and they were at our house within a 1/2 hour. He knew right away the problem and fixed it promptly. We were very happy with the service, professionalism, and promptness. We will absolutely use in the future if the need arises!

They reponded prompty to my call, show up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves. I could not ask for a better job.

They were punctual and professional. They are willing to listen to us and gently advise us.

GOT SEVERAL BIDS AND CHOSE HAMER. CAME OUT AND COMPLETED JOB IN ABOUT A HALF A DAY. VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND BATHROOM LOOKED GREAT WHEN IT WAS FINISHED.

CAME OUT AND CUT HOLE IN CEILING FOR ELECTRICAL AND CUT IN NEW BOX FOR ADDITIONAL SWITCH FOR CEILING FAN AND LIGHT. TOOK A FEW HOURS BUT WORK LOOKED GOOD.
