They charged we more than twice the original estimate for tearing down the old garage and excavation for the new garage. They did not complete two of the tasks in the original estimate. In addition, they did not dig the trench for the electrical conduit while doing other excavation even though I requested that be done. The contractor I hired to do the trenching for the conduit stated: "it sure would have been easier before the garage was built."
Description of Work: Excavation for new garage as well as run conduit to the new garage, and electrical work.

This customer contracted to have us dig out a space for a small garage/shop. We did the initial work at the agreed upon price. The general contractor then came to the job and requested the owner remove all material back another 4 to 6 feet from the building edge for safety. It was extremely rocky and dangerous for them to work. This more than doubled the work and the rocky material that had to be hauled away and disposed of. Also, this extra digging required a very large tree that had to be removed for safety and that also had to be cleaned up and hauled away which was extra work. We would have gladly come back and dug the power trench at no additional cost had the customer contacted us. We needed to wait until the building was built so we knew where to run the pipe. This work was performed between May of 2015 and completed in September of 2015. Customer never said a word and this is the first time we have ever heard about this issue. If he would have said something back when all this work was done, we would have gladly worked something out with him.

Overall, the job was done well and for a good price. We started out on the wrong foot, worked through that and ended having some disagreements, which they finally gave in and finished the job to my satisfaction.

We called this company to have them bid on installing recessed lighting in a cathedral ceiling. We left our contact information with them because the person we needed to talk to wasn't available. After waiting several days, we called back and again were told someone would be in contact. We have not received a call to date, which is now about two weeks after the initial contact..
Description of Work: Need wiring and installation of recessed lighting in a cathedral ceiling. Around 8-10 fixtures with dimmers.

I am not sure who this is but as you can see from our profile, we do not service or work in Kent Wa. Why would they call someone 150 miles away to work in Kent. I think there has been some confusion about this. We have been in business 32 years and pride ourselves in our response time. We appologize for this but I think they have the wrong company.
