Description of Work: Professional and friendly service technicians. They always discuss what they found and make recommendations as needed. No high pressure to have the work done by them, just recommendations on what needs to be done.

Description of Work: We had an issue with our heat pump caused by construction damage to one of the components. The Pacific Air technician identified the problem and provided us with several options to correct the problem. We chose to install a new thermostat with wireless outdoor sending unit. We are very happy with the equipment and the service we received.

Description of Work: We recently purchased a new house and there were no directions for the thermostat. The Pacific Air technician, checked and reset the existing thermostat as well as providing some instruction for it. Per our request he went over options, features and benefits for alternative thermostats. He also did a quick check on our gas furnace and provided general information about operation. The service provider was excellent and very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: We have a home with an attached, rather large apartment. They serviced the furnace and heat pump for the apartment; they replaced the heat pump and furnace for the 3200 sq ft home; and replaced an old, leaking, non-compliant water heater in the home. They will be cleaning the air ducts for the entire home and apartment later this week. I can update the review later for that. Considering the work they have done so far, I expect that will also be done well. The workers kept the work area clean, were conscientious and respectful. They gave clear instructions about using our new thermostat which is programmable (our old furnace was 35 years old and definitely not programmable!). Everything is running well. The temperature in the house seems to stay right on the set temperature, where with the old system, the temperature used to swing quite a bit. When we discussed options for a new furnace, they went through our needs with us carefully and we figured out that the system just above the "basic" level would work the best for us, with just a couple of additional elements added. I felt that my needs were heard.

Description of Work: They perform our annual maintenance and do a great job. We didn't use them for HVAC system replacement, however, because of cost and because they didn't quote a heat pump option.

They listened to my concerns and ideas and valued my input during their installation of a new heat pump. They completed many difficult tasks with good results. The service adviser returned at my request to explain the intracacies and operating procedures of the system they installed.

Description of Work: I have a 3 year service/maintenance contract with Pacific Air Systems for a 2x/year maintenance/inspection of my heat pump system. They are very good. The only issues I have is that I never see the same technician twice - always someone new. While I think the price is high, I am not complaining in that they have found issues with my system in the past and they were corrected. | |The only nit I have is that I had to replace the pre-filters in my electrostatic air filter. Pacific Air quoted my at one time $120/filter and I needed two. I found the same filters using Amazon Marketplace for $38. | |Otherwise I would recommend Pacific Air Systems. |

Description of Work: I've been using them for 5 years. They have done all the maintenance on my gas furnace. They are always prompt and very professional. They take the time to explain what they are doing and answer any questions I have. I have been buying their multi year service contracts. I will add that I did use another company to install a new furnace and heat pump because the other company was significantly less money. So far I will continue to use Pacific Air Systems for service however.

Went good and they were very thorough but they did replace my 4 inch filter with a 1 inch filter, which will only last three months compared to six months with a 4 inch filter. Not sure why this was done but it sounds like they just did not have the correct filter on their truck with them.

Description of Work: I have used Pacific Air for many years and will continue to do so. They have one of the best staff available. They are always on time or they call ahead.Their maintenance contracts cost about $180.00 a year and cover the heat once and A/C once a year. You get a discount if you purchase the maintenance contract for more than one year. They do impecable work. When you have the maintenance contract they then will give you a discount if you have to replace the furnace, A/C, or heat pump. They also do water heaters. Can save you thousands depending on what you spend. Pacific Air replaced my furnance when the heat exchanger cracked about five years ago. They responded quickly so we didn't have to wait for them to schedule the install. I recently paid them to have my vents cleaned and it sure has made a difference. Other vent cleaning companies have cleaned my vents in the past but it never really helped like the deep cleaning that Pacific Air did. You pay according to how many vents you have. I had 14 vents and it cost $385.00. That sounds high considering that others charge charge less than $100.00 but I have used those cheap vent cleaners and it is a waste of mony. I don't have to have my vents cleaned again for another 3-5 years. The cheap vent cleaners say you should do it every year which over time is more than what Pacific Air charges.
