Tracy Stromberg was hired to do a ground up build on a 3400 sq ft house. He created a budget for the bank, and submitted it as real and with the assumption that bid had actually been collected as part of the process of creating a budget that all were reliant upon. Not only did he fake the bid for the bank, but it was off over $50,000, and his only comment to everyone as the budget blew up, was "shut up and pay it". He also committed to having the project done in 180 days, with a penalty of $100 per day beyond that if it wasn't completed. Mr. Stromberg does have some good subs, but doesn't do any of the work himself, and doesn't care about his obligations. Not only did he hire a single guy to do all the framing, which took 5 months, but when it came time for him to pay the $100 per day penalty, he refused to uphold his part of the contract. Mr Stromberg also hires subs expecting to get paid when the job is on going. If you have a construction loan, you know you have to wait for the bank to do an inspection so line items can be released. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to the subs, nor were bids give to me prior to work beginning, so they walked off the job, some things never got finished, At this point, there is an ongoing lawsuit, and Mr. Strombergs Bond is being suspending with the Dept of L & I. Protect yourself, and find someone who cares about quality, you the home owner, and doing a great job. As it stands today, he walked off the job, has prevented the subs from being paid by the bank, in an attempt to have leans put against my property, and is hoping to get paid when he owes tens of thousands of dollars. Good luck to you all.

Description of Work: Bonnie Stromberg is an interior designer and she accompanies her husband on the initial visit for the interview. Together they listened to my ideas and gave me input; they made complete measurements. Tracy and Bonnie returned a week later with floor plans, clippings, pictures and colors swatches. Two weeks later, I turned over my house keys to Tracy and left town for 5 days,ad the remodel began. It ended 14 days later and I couldn't have been happier. It didn't run over budget. It didn't run overtime. It's perfect in every respect. The colors the finishing. I love it.
