+ -1 moreEverything perfect with one very small scheduling glitch that was handled very quickly. When I called into the office I was told that someone would be out the next day. The next day I received a message stating that the mix on the truck was not what I needed for my yard and they would have to reschedule for the next day. At 7 AM the next morning the truck was there and the work was done. I had a lot of moss in my yard and they expected that the treatment may only be 70 to 80% effective. Based on how my lawn looks now... it was better then expected. As far as lawn treatments go, Turf's Up has my yard starting the spring better then ever. I will use them again.

Description of Work: I asked David for help with an infestation of Poa Annua (bluegrass) in my new lawn, for which he has a customized program. He sprayed an enormous area (almost 2 acres) for only $150. His documentation is superb and his expertise in turf management is high. A pleasure doing business with him. My general impression is that the typical lawn fertilization companies have a "program" and are unwilling to bend the program to fit the customer's needs, whereas David started with my situation and designed a limited program.

+ -1 moreThey are super reliable, knowledgeable, and straightforward to deal with. Since I have not used any other yard and garden services in the area, I can not comment on the prices. I did think the pruning service, though very professionally done by an obvious expert, was expensive. No complaints overall.
Description of Work: Turf's up has been treating my trees and shrubs for a variety of ills for a full year. They are a full service shop, but I have used the tree and shrub service and pruning services only. Weeds are a huge problem here and I plan to use them for pre-emergence weed control this fall and spring.

Description of Work: Turf's Up does all the lawn maintenance work for our yard, including weed control, mowing, tree care, etc. They make about 8 visits to our home throughout the year.

+ -1 moreWE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS AND HAVE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY ALWAYS CALL A DAY OR SO BEFORE TO ALERT YOU THAT THEY WILL BE COMING TO TREAT THE LAWN. ALL THE TECHNICIANS HAVE BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND READY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. THEY LEAVE A DETAILED RECEIPT THAT LISTS NOT ONLY EXACTLY WHAT SERVICES ARE PERFORMED, BUT EXACTLY WHAT PRODUCTS WERE USED AND HOW TO BEST CARE FOR THE LAWN IN THE NEXT MONTH. THEY ALSO PROVIDE A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER WITH HELPFUL INFORMATION. THEY DO NOT USE HARD SELL TACTICS FOR EXTRA SERVICES.
