It was not the lowest bid that I got, but it was competitive. Their work was excellent. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They arrived on time. They arrived when they said they were going to arrive. The actual drywall and the repairs in the new house were done well and I couldn’t find any flaws in it at all. I was over there in that house for a long period and the work exceeded expectations. Not only that, in the new house they kept things clean. For example, they asked me if I wanted them to frame in an attic access in the garage as the house didn’t have one. I agreed and they asked me to give them some wood to do it and they did it. It turned out to be very useful because I needed to get it done later. In the house where they were doing the repairs, I had cleaned it out to repair and they pointed out a number of other areas that I didn’t think needed repairing. There were flaws, but I didn’t want them to be repaired. When I came back, they had not only fixed the things that I had asked for, but they had fixed the things that I hadn’t asked for and then they went into the house and fixed the rest of the stuffs that I didn’t even know about. They went way above and beyond from what I had expected. I did have to negotiate the price. The original bid was a lot higher and I had a bid that was way quite a bit lower so I did actually negotiate with them. They were willing to negotiate and they didn’t come all the way down to the lowest bid, but they came into a competitive range and I’m glad that I went with them. I would use them again in the future if need be.

I had installed all the drywall in my basement and had begun the finishing. I had a time constraint that was running out and decided I needed a professional to wrap up. Dean was doing similar work across the street, and I approached him for an estimate. He began work later that week and finished about a week later.

Dean was hired as a sub-contractor by the company who remodeled our kitchen. He was very prompt and efficient and did a great job. He also repaired other drywall areas and re-mudded our bathroom. When he returned to patch up areas a few other contractors scuffed up he also repaired an area in an upstairs bedroom at no extra charge. The job was actually larger than he originally bid on and only charged us an extra $175 for all the extra work. Dean was pleasant to work with I'd have him work in my home any time.
