Fridenmaker Having recently purchased a new cedar fence, as part of a pet adoption build-out, we reached out to numerous exterior painters. Having spoken with a handful of exterior painters, willing to provide a loose quote, Fridenmaker was the most available and affordable. On the initial visit, they reviewed the site, asked a few questions, and gave us an estimate within around 15 minutes. Delivered in a professional stock folder and presented on professional stock paper, the bid included tax and a deposit. From there, we were given staining options, including advice on which stains would make sense. Finally, they took the time to explain the expectations regarding longevity of the workmanship. After mutually agreeing, we set a date which was the following week. The next week, we received an email and a text notice of a pending arrival. Due to a technical issue, the intended date was off by one day, but the associate apologized for the mistake and assured us they would be out the following day. The next day they arrived around early, with materials in hand and proceeded to work. Approximately a few hours in, I was asked to review the initial work, and was also explained the process regarding how the different textured wood would be treated. They completed their initial day by 5 pm. Following this, they informed me they would be delayed due to an employee emergency but would still arrive late and continue the work as promised. Nearly two days into the job, they let me review the gates and the nearly complete fence, making sure the work was what I had in mind. The final day, they arrived assuring us they would complete the work on the fence and would be done in less than a few hours. Finally, approximately 3 hours later, they asked us to perform a walkthrough and afterward we wrote them a check for the work. Overall, we are satisfied with the work they performed. However, with the upcoming forecast for rain and winds, along with another temperate snowfall, time will tell if the workmanship will hold up. As always, your experience may vary.
