The technician discovered quite a bit of failed work under the house that was the responsibility of the seller of the house. They were able to come back out on short notice to repair the work, offer great advice, and even took pictures so we could use it when trying to get reimbursement from the sellers.

They were A+ all the way down the road. I liked their professionalism. They were very punctual. They were true to their bid. They were very informative, and they were very knowledgeable about their product.

Although they weren't the cheapest, they seemed to be the most professional of the contractors I contacted.||After the fireplace insert our furnace went out just before Christmas. They were very responsive and the tech did every thing possible to try and get it to work. Unfortunately it wasn't to be. ||However they were able to come and replace it all within one day and it is nice and cozy in the house now. ||I highly recommend them.

I already know what is wrong with my furnace. It doesn't work that has been told to me by 2 companies already. Don't tell me you have to charge me $155 to diagnose what is wrong and then that cost will not be included in getting a replacement furnace. Way overpriced.

The provider had problems draining the old one, which added to the weight of the tank and getting it out of the house. The young man did a great job getting it out without making a mess. It was very hard work for him. Once the old was out, installing the new one went well. We've dealt with Sunset Air for over 30 years for all of our heating, air conditioning, windows, water heaters, gas plumbing for gas range top and gas fireplace. They are usually not the highest or lowest bid; however, we know we can always depend upon them for a job well done, and one they will stand behind.

It went well. Job was done in a reasonable time with very little disruption to my daily activities. Also provided reasonable financing, although I did not need it (no interest so I took it). Noticeable decrease in utilities. I chose the company because it has a good reputation in the community for service.

Perfectly. I've used Sunset Air for installing a new generator, installing new windows throughout the house and troubleshooting my heat pump. Their customer service and knowledge are exceptional.

I liked the way he handled things. The other two companies were charging $5800 and $5000. The first one really wanted the business and might have been good; but I did like to save that much. The other one tried to make it work, but was with a branded company. Sunset was interested in resolving the issues. Their price was excellent. I had a heater through them.

We had a couple price quotes given and Sunset Air came in at the same price. We decided to go with Sunset after reviewing the equipment specifications and previous good experience we had with Sunset Air. Dave the salesperson was very professional, arriving on time and going over all the details as well as answering all of our questions. The installers did a great job of installing the new equipment including adding a small metal shelf to hold the manuals. The installer answered our additional questions and configured the thermostat to our preferences. The city inspectors said everything looked great and was done to code. Overall very impressed with the whole purchase and installation.

My first contact was with the heating repair center. The representative was very professional and helpful, asking many questions and returning calls with information quickly. An electrician, Brent, was sent out first to inspect the wiring. He asked questions, gave good information and advice. The inspection was thorough. The weather was predicted to be cold that night and during the afternoon I received a call from Brent to check and make sure we had spot heaters and would be alright that night. The furnace repair technician arrived the next morning. Based on our discussion he provided information for several options; pros and cons for both replacement and repair. That was on Friday and the part arrived on Monday. By Monday afternoon the furnace was repaired. I asked Sunset Air to perform an inspection of the work after the work was completed. Sunset guarantees work for 90 days but was not willing to do an inspection. The fire in the furnace that caused the problem stemmed from improper wiring and functioned without a difficulty for 8 years. This fire could have been avoided had an inspection been completed in 2005. Sunset Air did not work on that project. That is why I requested an inspection for this repair. Brent, the electrician called to follow up after the job was completed, and offered to do an inspection. He discovered a ground wire issue and came immediately to repair the problem. I would definitely use Sunset Air again because of Brent.

They were prompt, thorough, and professional.

From the initial consultation with Jesse (about a year ago) through the installation a few weeks ago was what I would call flawless. Communication is a big thing with me when it comes to working with contractors and these guys get an A+. Jesse was very patient with me in mapping out and evaluating the many alternatives I was considering. The scheduler, Jim, was right on top of things in making sure everything was lined up properly for the install date. The two installers were very competent and friendly. Gave the installers some articles about an issue with a new thermostat, the Nest and quot;smartand quot; thermostat, and they explained how the wiring works and also came up with a solution to resolve the issue (added a and quot;Cand quot; wire). They also explained the permitting and inspection required by the city, which made this go smoother. A few weeks after the install, Jesse stopped by to discuss some questions I had he also showed me how to access some advanced features of the furnaces variable speed fan. I'm very pleased with their communication, service and follow up. While I rated their pricing a and quot;Band quot;, that is not meant to be a negative. I expect to pay the price for good equipment, installation and service as long as they meet my high standards and do good work. It's just that this stuff is expensive, that's all. I will be hiring them to perform duct cleaning just to put the finishing touch on a great new system. Already feeling the improved indoor air quality of the new system. Sunset Air comes highly recommended in my opinion.

A very good company. Gave us a fair price for a great product. We are really impressed with the Carrier heat pump and air handler. They were very prompt, did a good installation, and cleaned up their work.

They were very accommodating and we were very happy with the value we received. Their bid was substantially lower than another one we had.

Great work and we are satisfied with the people, service technician and handling of everything.

Steve gave us an estimate and was the project manager. The crew arrived on time. The work was accomplished in a very professional manner. One problem I ran into was when I ask what temperature the attic fan was set to come on, I received three different answers from three different technicians. Overall, the job went very well. I would use this company again. We are just getting into the heating season and the system seems to be running well.

acThis if the first time we have ever had our air ducts cleaned. Our house was built in November 1994. We do, however, have a yearly heating/ac maintenance done. Even though Sunset did both, it still required coordination from two separate sections within the organization, which Sunset gladly did for me, to make both appointments on the same day. The air duct gentleman (Randy) arrived promptly on time, 8:00AM, as scheduled. He was very polite, professional and did an excellent job. He took the time to explain what he was doing, why and approximately how long it would take. He cleaned up after himself. There was no mess left behind. It was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this service. The heating/ac maintenance however is not scheduled for any particular time, rather they provide you with a time-frame, which I'm not particularly fond of (12pm-5pm). I, like most professionals, don't mind being available for a scheduled time, but do not like to be put and quot;on holdand quot; so to speak for possibly 5 hours. Serviceman showed up at 3:45. Again, he was very professional and thorough. No major problems, just a basic check through the furnace and air conditioner. I would highly recommend this service.

They were great - they showed up when they said they would and finished in the time they said would. Very easy process - no problems at all! Heat works great.

We had problems with one examining room being too cold and another being too hot. They told us they could not fix this and we had to add portable heaters to the cold room. A year later it stopped working and they told us we needed a whole new system. I asked a friend to come check it and he was able to fix it in about one hour by installing a new motor, about $80. He also said fixing the disparity between rooms was a cinch to fix, he only had to change some vent directions. Obviously Sunset was trying to bilk us for more money because we were medical professionals.

The sales people were very knowledgeable and offered lots of alternatives. There was no high pressure salesmanship, they let their products speak for themselves. I really appropriated that. The products are great and local.

They were on time and honest and professional. I had a newborn so they put a rush on the service order. Overall I would rate them an A.

It was the quality as they advertised and it seems to be saving us money on our heating bills. We are real happy with it. We got rebates on the heat pump.

They are quick to work and answer your phone calls quickly as well. They know how to communicate what is wrong and what needs to be done.

We were happy with their service. I would give them A's across the board.
