Description of Work: I had several bids. His was right in there. But I could see from his pictures and tell by talking to him that he had a good work ethic. And I was not disappointed. They did a fine job. Some fence was wood and part metal. Looks great.

 + -1 moreCame highly recommended from our realtor. Sadly their estimator never called us. Left messages with a live person twice, was promised they would call back. Never did. On second call, I was told "we tried to call you", but I found that hard to believe because I hadn't even told them who was calling at that point. So that must be their standard line. I gave them a second opportunity to call, gave them a specific 5 hour window to call - and nothing. It's been two weeks since my first call and nothing. Whoever I did talk to, couldn't even tell me how far out they were scheduling.

Description of Work: They removed 7 sections of worn out fence between my neighbor's back yard and mine, hauled off some of the wood, (we kept half of the wood) and cemented in new posts. Then returned a week later to put up the cedar boards and crossbeams. They did a good job but I didn't like that we had to wait a week to have it finished. My neighbor had to build a temporary contained area for his dogs and my cat was very unhappy about losing his safe boundary for a week, not to mention both of us as neighbors having to share our two back yards for a week. Other than that the fence seems good and sturdy and looks great. It seemed a little pricey to me but then everything seems pricey to me lately. I think it would be better to evaluate a fence after a few years to see how it really holds up over a little time, but for now I'm happy with it and think it was worth it. I do have to stain it to help it last, but I guess that's part of the process for everyone.

 + -1 moreI got 7 bids to fence our partially fenced acre over a two year period. We coordinated with 3 other neighbors (one pulled out at the last minute), and we have a HOA so we also had to get approval which slightly slowed things down. Summit Fence had the very best price, but mostly I was really impressed with the level of professionalism of our estimator. and the team who did the install. The team who came to handle the installation did a superb job!!! Not one plant was damaged, everything was exactly as expected. They were in and out in a flash. Posts were set at the end of the week (holes were dug really deep) and filled correctly with concrete. Everything lined up beautifully. They even dug some holes for our grow beds to accommodate the overhead trellis that will be built later. They came back early the next week to complete the fence. We are thrilled with the new fence, and lots of neighbors came over and commented how straight the top line was and beautifully finished the boards were. We will use them again for sure...but I also enthusiastically recommend them. It is nice to have a top-quality team you can count on to do the right thing.

Description of Work: We used Summit Fence to install bollards for our business parking lot (to prevent cars slipping over an embankment) and then had them install a 72 inch iron fence around the back area of our building for security and liability needs. For both projects summit Fence did outstanding work. We have had several other business folks stop and thank us for the nice fencing and also the added security that this has now offered to the whole area. Iron work is expensive and they offered us competitive pricing. We are happy with the result. This provider is honest, upfront and will tell you if a job is not something their company can handle for a positive outcome for both their business and the buyer.
