Mr. Electric of Olympia

Ernesto Came early and was very polite. I don't know about price so I couldn't really rate them. For rewiring electrical equipment it seemed fair-maybe a bit high but electricians are expensive and it was an emergency. I would recommend Ernesto and Mr Electric.

I had purchased this service for my mother (age 78) and she was very satisfied with the provider. She said the gentleman who came to conduct the inspection was very courteous and prompt. My mother also received a detailed report for work that needed to be done in order to be in compliance with current home electrical standards. My mother has lived in the same home for over 45 years and we felt an inspection was needed as she had been noticing flickering of one of her lights. She was very satisfied and glad I had researched and purchased this service for her.

The guy was nice. I would not use the service again. He gave me information but was not able to do anything to my stove. What I asked them to come out to do, and what he actually did were two separate things. I think there was a communication issue.

Polite, good work, but seemed a little expensive

I'm not going to give them a good review. My suggestion is, if anybody is going to use them get a written bid before hand, detailed. Usually, when there is a contractor, you have him come out and then a couple of months later they come out and actually do the work. Well, he didn't take any notes whatsoever and his guys come out here. The under counter lighting that they installed was supposed to be LED and you're not supposed to be able to see it. They're these big clunky things. They put the wrong fan in the master bathrooms and they put three light switches in the master bathroom, when I only need two. But in the main bathrooms they again put the wrong fit in the ceiling. I only have two switches, but I need three for that one. Just a mess. I've always been one that if I walk into a room, I flip up the first light switch and that's your light. In both bathrooms you went in and the first one you flipped up it turned on the heat lamp. I'm like, "Is it just me? Did I have to request to fit the first one to be the light to go into the room?" That seemed like it would be logical for an electrician. So I had them come out and fix them and he got mad about that. He was very rude. There was one worker I would not allow on my site. I would not use them and then I would require something upfront in detail, exactly what kind of unit he is talking about putting underneath your cabinets and then a detailed billing afterwards.

After we removed a wall in our recently purchase home and found a crazy amount of wires that went every which way we contacted Mr. Electric at midnight in an Angie's List referral and we were contacted by one of the owners (Chad) by 9:00 am the following morning. Chad was available that same morning to stop by at 11:00 am. By 1:00 pm he had JP, one of his electricians come by and started working immediately. JP worked until 5:00 pm that day and came back the following morning with another electrician at 9:00 am and worked until 5:00 pm. 2 weeks later we called for JP to come back and do the finishing work in the kitchen and installing the can lights. A few extra things were added to the list so JP came back a 4th time to complete all the rewiring. Mr. Electric was very courteous and quick to act with any questions or requests. Chad even gave us his personnel cell number to call anytime if we had any issues. JP was very professional and personable. It was very easy to ask questions and get all the details explained. It was an extremely pleasant experience working with Mr. Electric. We will most definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. Thanks! Sean and Zena C.

Service providers were on time, polite, and did the whole job in a timely manner. Our electrical system was put in during a remodel in 1980-81, so we were concerned that it was no longer safe. Provider told us our panel was top of the line, but that we had old outlets that may be a concern. Since we had only paid for "the big deal" and have a friend that is a certified electrician that we use for small jobs, they gave us advise on what type of electrical outlets are the safest and most reliable for when our person installs them. We will definitely use this company in the near future for a larger kitchen remodel job that will need extra care in the electrical area, and we have already recommended them to two friends.

Very responsive for scheduling service. Angie's special big deal price of $39 for whole house inspection was excellent. Think other folks should take advantage of the whole house electrical inspection as the price is extremely low for the inspection. I see Mr. Electric trucks in Lacey WA doing other work.

It was a great experience, I have nothing but compliments and intend on scheduling additional work. I am familiar with construction and it's many facets, though I leave electrical repairs and the larger issues to licensed contractors. Everything was great, thank you.

Awesome service, remember you get what you pay for . Theses guys are the real deal. True professionals, who place customer service first. I will use mr electric for my future house hold electric needs or advice.

His name is Jim Simons. He was very informative, communicative, true to his word, and very ethical. Everything was under $10,000.

It went great. He showed me what he was going to do and explained why. He did what he said he was going to do, and then made a couple of recommendations. He was a friendly and knowledgeable professional. I'm very happy with the service and will call again when I'm ready to install a transfer switch for the generator.

They responded via email quickly and it was professional. I would consider using them if they were closer.

Install went great. Added surge protection as well as generator wiring. Able to fit me in on short notice. Explained all options available and didn't pressure me one way or the other.

Regret that I purchased deal because the provider was in Olympia. Travel time charge was more than I paid other electrician to perform tasks

The electrician that arrived was friendly, informative and professional. My electricity to the upstairs had been disabled due to a power surge from PSE. Mr. Electric arrived on a Saturday, on time and explained the issue with the power surge and disabling of the circuits to the bedrooms. He showed me how to enable the breakers and inspected all of the outlets as well as the electric panel. He recommended I install a power surge protector for the entire house, as the power surge had also disabled the electronic circuitry to my refrigerator and I did not want any more damage done should PSE strike again! He was efficient and did not try to sell or over sell, was not pushy or aggressive. Worked quickly and completed the work in a timely manner. The price was what was expected and discussed prior to the work being performed. I can unequivocally recommend Mr. Electric for any electrical needs you may have and was very impressed by both the response and service provided, as well as the great Angie's List discount that was applied to the entire bill. In this day and age it is difficult to find honest, reliable and excellent service such as was provided by this company. Kudos to their customer care and concern!

We had no problems with the work. They did the installs and work extremely efficiently and were very conscientious. I had to go purchase a closet light and I noticed they recommended I get one with a pull chain and not retrofit the one I purchased, because of warranty concerns. I appreciated the good advice. A small detail; The estimate for the work was very reasonable, but there was some delay in getting the estimate to us.

Excellent job! Hard working guys and very knowledgeable and informative. The ground was very hard and required lots of muscle to dig up. Mr. Electric was much more affordable than Mr. Sparky's bid. I've used both and both do fine work, but for the value, I chose Mr. Electric.

I got my garage door opener outlet back. I was impressed that they explained what was involved with hooking up a new hot tub, and quoted a price much lower than other contractors. I had been quoted prices including permits (not necessary), and other issues that would not be necessary but would just up the cost. The big thing was they also knew about my particular home heating unit which is electric grids in the ceiling. I had already called about 6 electrician and heating professionals and never even got one that understood what my heating source was. These guys knew, and were honest about the issue, but assured me they could probably fix it if they could find parts. Just having someone who was familiar with this type of heating was a huge comfort and added to my trust in their ability and professionalism. Thank you Mr. Electric!

I had electrical work done 2-3 times before by an electric company (A plus) that was located right in my area. Postponing the plug/work for my future freezer at a later time. I was given my estimate in writing that proved otherwise. When I had called back to schedule that appointment to continue finishing what I had first requested. I was very disappointed that my initial estimate/Quote had been raised by over $500.00 additional.( By a 22 y/o- I want it now generation) Needless to say, I sent them away and refused the work. Within that same week. I took the advice of other high quality, paying customers and relied on great reviews by REAL Customers. I got on Angies List :D. I narrowed it down to two companies, and ultimately went with Mr.Electric. My appointment was set for 9:00AM. That morning I had received a call that it was pushed back by 35 minutes. Mr. Bill had showed up with a young apprentice. We discussed the work which I was wanting done. I called my husband on the phone to clarify and speak to Mr. Bill what was wanted. Price was discussed upfront. I asked for a final number to include permit, fees and taxes. So after a few minutes of calculating. I was presented with a final price that was acceptable. (Much better than the other company I had mentioned in the beginning). I let the professional(s) do their work in the garage, as I tended to other matters. within an hour and a half the job was completely done. I was instructed to wait on paperwork by mail from the office of Mr. Electric, and to then call for an inspector to come out to check off on the work. Only one little issue: I had mentioned (to Mr. Bill), on the outside portion of my electrical box is a 2 1/2 to 3 inch rectangle hole in the drywall - where the conduent/ electrical tube comes out of. Its ugly; but I'm concerned that bugs and spiders will make their way into that wall. So I asked: can I buy some spray "Great stuff" and close that up safely? He says: Yes, but do it after the inspection. Overall - Good work, and good price . I felt comfortable to leave them to do their work without having to "Babysit" anyone. It went very well. The guys were great, fast, friendly. I do not know if it is a requirement to have two electricians on site when work is done or if that is just what some companies chose to do. They sent two guys, really liked them but not at all necessary for the scope of the work. It was very expensive for the work done. I am used to paying slightly higher prices because I am a bit remote but this seemed a little excessive to me. It was all done above board and fair. Upon their arrival, we discussed the work and I agreed. I would only hesitate to use them again because of cost which pulled my rating down from A to B overall.

They completed the job properly and in the time frame they stated they would.

They were very courteous, knowledgeable and explained things to us, and fixed it. Theirs was the most reasonable price in town. They are probably the only ones I would use for electrical work.
