Diane and Morgan from Eye Candy Interiors are wonderful painters and genuinely nice people to work with. I started with Diane helping me choose paint colors and then chose her from a total of 4 bids to paint my home. I couldn’t be more pleased. They did a beautiful job. They are very thorough in what they do and make sure you are pleased with the end results. I have already recommended them to two people. Thank you Eye Candy Interiors for making my home beautiful.

This was a large , two story ceilinged rooms painting of the entire inside of the 6000 sq feet house. It was challenging and Diane and Morgan did an amazing job. Diane found the perfect colors and then went to work giving us an entire new house. I give them the highest possible recommendation.

Diane was excellent. She knows her stuff. I normally buy MANY paint samples, and agonize over a color. With Diane's advice, the first one we put up was a winner. If you'd like to save yourself multiple trips to the paint store, and avoid having a boxful of leftover samples, consider hiring Diane!

She got my home market ready. Ease of booking was amazing. She finished earlier than expected. She helped me finish my entire house in previous visits. This woman really knows her craft, and she cares about her footprint on mother earth. I highly recommend Eye Candy Interiors. She helped me change my life with her amazing help. I was able to move forward and onward with ease and grace. The home sold for above market value thanks to her. I would be nowhere without her. She is the absolute BEST genuine down to earth person I ever met.

What I love about Diane is that she personally takes pride in her work, is responsive which is so rare in the contracting world and she is always very upfront about her abilities or expertise. She has turned down work that she didn't feel she could do properly or just didn't feel right about doing. Her work is always good and professional and she is pleasant to work with.

Diane is always the professional and shows up on time, responds to our phone or text messages quickly and does good quality work that she takes pride in. We trust her and let her into our home when we are not there and have gotten to the point that we sometimes will just have her do a time and materials job for us when it isn't a clear cut job that is easier to bid. Never been disappointed and have used her numerous times.

It went terrific! I am soooo pleased! Diane had great ideas due to all her experience with paints and textures. She is neat with no paint where it is not suppose to be. The wall beside a steep staircase, an entire bedroom and a dark accent wall in the entry way were straight painting. The dining room walls received a faux finish after the straight painting. Then Diane did free hand decorative embelishment on the dining room walls. She worked with me regarding what the design of the embellishment would be. Diane is a hardworking and delightful person to have in my home. I will definitely call her for my next painting project.

Diane is fantastic. She and her talented assistant, Morgan, are not only skilled painters, but also terrific people. I will call on their services again in the future and I highly recommend them. They transformed our home.

Diane helped me choose colors for every room in our home. I had a general idea of what I wanted to do, but was having trouble making choices on my own. She carefully listened to everything I had to say while also considering the light, my existing decor, and the structure of my house. She suggested colors on the spot and also sent a palate for my consideration. The colors she chose feel unique yet perfect - and all work very well together. I am enjoying my home so much and am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Diane. She is friendly, thoughtful, and very intuitive.

Diane did a wonderful job helping us choose colors and painting the entire interior of our home. She was professional, friendly, and very flexible when it came to working with our schedule. We loved having her work in our home and were so happy to get to know her. She always did a careful and lovely job with prep, painting, and clean up, and we feel like she cared a lot about our home and family. She is the best!

I can not say enough good things about Diane. Working with her was a pleasure, from the minute we connected on the phone to arrange for her bid, until I hugged her goodbye at 9:30 pm on her final day of work. She is very flexible and accommodating of other's schedules and commitments, and since I was 15 minutes late for our initial meeting, that impressed me. Diane gave me some starting points for colors, and encouraged me not to talk myself into a color I didn't love. I'm kind of a people-pleaser, so that was nice to hear. It allowed me to explore and find the color I really like. Diane's posse consists of her amazing daughter, Morgan, and their good friend Jason. When the three were in the house at once, it was a whirlwind of activity and much was accomplished. This people are fun and funny and enjoy what they do. I have to confess that I was very sad to wake up on day 5 and realize they were finished. They were so much fun to be around. Now for the important stuff: her work quality. Diane is a professional with a great eye for color. She makes tactful suggestions ("Perhaps Tiffany Blue is a little....I don't know...bright for your bathroom.") that are genius and I deferred to her wisdom, without regret. She is a hard worker, and made sure I had some color to look at on my walls the first day (primarily spent on first coat of ceilings). She stayed until long past 5:00 on the final day to be sure we were happy and the house was cleaned up. Her work is neat, sharp, and I highly recommend her. I was able to pick up and pay for discounted supplies personally (her company discount), using my credit card to earn bonus points. Diane accepts checks only, but that was not an issue at all. If that is the only thing holding you back from hiring her, I suggest buying a cashier's check and going with the best. I will call Diane first in the future for any painting needs.

Diane Kintrea came to my house to consult on colors for several rooms that need to be repainted. Diane took care to understand what I liked, what styles resonate with me, and what colors I am drawn to. Diane was very attentive to what I have in my house and to my input. We discussed the details in each room and Diane gave me a written page listing suggested paint colors for each of the areas that we discussed. After the visit Diane sent a written proposal to do all the prep and paint work on a room by room basis. She also sent some suggestions for wall art to round out my decor. On my own I tried all the suggested colors in the various rooms but was not convinced they worked for me. I decided not to have the painting done until I finalize all of the colors. So I did not use Eye Candy for any painting. I did think her prices seemed quite reasonable.

After buying our first home, we were completely overwhelmed with all the changes we wanted to make. Choosing wall color became a daunting task. Having compiled stacks and stacks of color chip cards there simply were too many choices. We called Diane at Eye Candy Interiors. Diane came out 3 days later. She asked a few questions and noted a few constraints I told her we needed to keep in mind. I followed her around while she began envisioning colors and accessories. She stayed for 1-1/2 hour. She then compiled everything into a Pinterest page that included paint colors, fixtures and accessories. We incorporated all of her suggestions and couldn?t be happier with the results. Diane was a breath of fresh air with her contagious energy and was a complete professional.

We did not receive much value from this. A couple of ideas,and a Pintrest board that was supposed to be updated with more ideas as we went along but nothing happened. Not much follow up at all. It was understood upfront that the initial work was going to be done via pictures and descriptions of the beach house. We expected a little more follow up on the items we requested. She did explain that she was very busy with other work.

It was really wonderful to work with Diane. She was great at understanding my needs and gave me a very reasonable quote. She also made a bold suggestion with the color contrary to the plan. She was totally right and I really appreciated that she had my best interest at heart. The actual work she did was FLAWLESS. Seriously, top notch all the way. Diane and her lovely partner Morgan are very professional and pleasant to work with. I highly, highly recommend them if you need any affordable and high quality interior painting done.

I'd found Diane on Angie's List and what a treasure she turned out to be! She came to the house, saw the job, asked a few questions for her info and we planned a date in near future for her to begin. I cannot detail enough how superb Diane is: this woman knows how to paint and is a perfectionist! She needed to give some priming areas three coats for it to take ... didn't give up. She caulked a crack I'd never seen since it was very high up (vaulted ceiling). The vault of the ceiling did not deter Diane. She had me order the needed paint under her biz name so as to get the best discount ... and I did. She did the whole shebang in just two days, working solo, two coats each color (I had two accent walls). Diane is a colorist for paint choices and she enthusiastically approved of what I had chosen. In fact, re: paint for my DR furniture and telling her what I had in mind, she quietly suggested a different color and as soon as she said that, I just knew that her suggestion was the far better choice ... far better! Diane is a gem.

We had previously had our den, kitchen, and family room painted in 2013 from a referral, but wanted to try out Angie's List for the more challenging areas we had left. Our living room has 20' ceilings, crazy-strange angles, and lighting challenges. We met with Diane and showed her the samples we were thinking about. We immediately felt that she was the right person for the job...so much so that we asked her to help revise our color-choices. Thank all that's holy that we did...she (diplomatically) led us in a different direction and we seriously could not be happier. Aside from the color help (again, thanks!), the job was very professional and she handled the very-high ceilings and odd wall shapes, etc. very, very well. We highly recommend Diane and Co.

Diane was prompt and prepared, and we had a great time picking out colors. She made recommendations but listened to what I wanted. She offered lots of other advice (sources for tile, good paint stores, etc.). She will be starting the painting itself shortly.

We asked for three bids, all on the same day. The first guy was exactly on time and seemed capable enough. He examined the space carefully and promised to send us a quote. Diane was next. She spaced the appointment but dashed over within ten minutes once we called her. She spent most of her time talking to us about what we wanted and then took video and promised to send us a quote. The third guy looked over the place a little and promised to send us a quote. The first guy we never heard from again, Diane emailed us a quote the same day, and the third guy sent us a quote a few days later that was well outside of our price range. We also looked at a few angies list deals and local specials (one painter for 1 day, two painters for one day, one room for a fixed price, etc etc). We eventually settled on Diane. We were originally going to ask someone to paint the vaulted ceilings, and then I do the rest. But we eventually asked her to paint all of it, the most expensive choice out of all the options we seriously considered. I suppose we picked it because Diane sold us on herself. She spent most of her time making sure we knew what we wanted and if it matched what we were asking for. She focused on us rather than the walls/ceiling, and then throughout she was one of the most responsive people I've ever worked with. In terms of the work itself, I must admit I'm very impressed. My fear was the end result would be about as good as I can do (I painted the place 4 years ago.) I must admit they (Diane and her helpers) did much better than that. We're very satisfied with the result. We'll definitely call her first next time.

We *loved* the results. She was right on in her pick of colors - we had the interior painted with her suggestions, including trim in a color neither of us would have picked out (an olive green on wainscoting and brick) and it looks like it's always belonged in this house. It turned out beautifully.

My wife and I knew that our home needed updating but rarely agreed on what direction to go. She likes formal and stylish and I just want comfortable. We hired Diane based on her excellent feedback on AL but knew she had her work cut out for her navigating our differing tastes. When she came in she inspected each area of our home, studied the flow and then, most importantly, carefully listened to each of our likes and dislikes. She threw a lot of suggestions at us to see how we'd react to better gauge a direction and whittled them down to ones we liked more and more. In the end she offered some ideas that were not at all on our radar but we both really, really liked and got us really excited to move forward on this project with a clearer idea of how our differing tastes can coexist. We will definitely hire her again when we get further down the path to fine tune more of the details.
