Started on time, finished ahead to time. A little pricey on some minor change orders. Overall, very satisfied.

Owner Arturo came promptly to make and provide estimate. Crew was careful to protect surrounding surfaces and plants during pressure washing and staining. They maintained a neat work area and cleaned up carefully. Job was completed on schedule considering rain delays and at the price quoted less a 5% Angie's list discount..

Overall... It was ok, I didn't feel like they cared much about getting the job or doing a great job. The estimate was literally almost double of the two other painters I had gotten estimates from, both who seemed much more committed to doing a through job. I wasn't impressed by the lack of detail given to my home or how unpersonable they were in my home or on the phone. I felt they cared much more about getting in, getting out, and getting paid then doing a great job and being through.

They have by far been the best deal for painting in Seattle. The quality of the work is great. Arturo is very responsive and very professional. I’d definitely recommend them to others.

It was a small and smooth project. Arturo was easy to get a hold of through phone and email. His team painted all walls within one day and kept work site very clean. I was very happy with his work.

Arturo is very professional. Arrived on time and returned an estimate quickly. Crew arrived on time on date decided and worked long hours to complete the job before threat of rain. Two coats and back brushed. Lots of attention paid to details. Crew very respectful and experienced. Good follow-up during completion of the job. No problem with splatter or hurting plants around the exterior of the house. This was a painless process. What more could you ask. I feel I got a lot for the price. I had bids lower, and higher. Feel very good about this choice.

Arturo came to quote on the job, and was helpful and professional. The job was a little unusual because we only needed part of the house painted, but the parts that needed to be painted required a lot of prep work, stripping and re-priming many of the shingles. Z quoted for exactly what we requested. Their quote was on the low side and I believe the job actually took a lot more labor than they expected. However the crew stuck with the job to the end and did good work. So we got a very good value. The crew were neat and left only a few paint chips here and there after the job. My only complaint is that they did not point out to me that some shingles were in very fragile condition and probably should have been repaired or replaced before they went far with the painting. I would not expect them to do those repairs as part of the quoted job, but would have appreciated a warning so we could make arrangements.

The team did a terrific job. Arturo was easy to work with, prompt and comprehensive in his estimate and initial discussions. The team arrived on time every day (and started a day earlier than planned). They worked hard and diligently. They were unobtrusive and very professional. The painting was done in two days! The quality of the work was excellent and the place left clean. I am already trying to figure out when I can get them back to do the rest of the house. I strongly recommend them.

The company was very professional from start to finish. The crew as well as Arturo were great to work with and did not cut any corners. They always made sure I was happy with the work and willingly performed any touch-up areas I asked for.

They were very polite but the price was a bit high.

Z Painting's work was excellent. They kept the job site clean, properly covered the furniture. They finished the job on time as promised. The painters were polite and considerate.

Nice fellow Arturo but was late for the appointment to inspect the house for the estimate. Said he would email estimate to me that evening but did not receive. I called and left message the following day in case sent to wrong email address. He did call and said that was what happened and sent me the estimate that night. Price was 25% higher than my two lower bids.

The entire experience was a good one. Arturo gave us a bid that was substantially less than others I had received. When it was time to do the work, he brought in his crew. They worked hard and were very professional. They got the job done efficiently and it was done well. They also did a good job cleaning up at the end.

Having sorted through angieslist.com for painters, I settled on three with high ratings to ask for estimates. One simply stated by telephone that I was out of his district. I then got two estimates. Each was comparable though Z Painting, PLC, was slightly lower. I liked what owner Arturo Lomeli had to say, so I went with him. They started with a thorough pressure wash of the entire house. Next, his crew came out not with paint but with screw drivers; and that is a good thing. They were looking for water damage; and they found some on the windward side of the house. I was aware of some of it but not of the extent. They went right to work and replaced all the damaged wood. While Alfredo worked to replace the water damaged items, three-to-four others did the other preparatory work. They sanded down any pealed paint that remained after the pressure wash. They then put on heavy primer/sealer on any bare wood and caulked all nail heads, cracks, crevices, and checking. They sprayed Rescue 911? Instant Leak Sealer in all areas where water was likely to penetrate and then caulked. All preparatory work was exemplary. Next, they sprayed the primary field with my stipulated Sherwin-Williams Duration? Exterior Acrylic Latex. Finally, they primed and painted the trim by hand. Despite having one of the wettest springs in history, the crew kept their cheery attitude and merely waited for good weather before applying paint. In the end, I could not be happier with the paint job.

They were work machines - they just came in and got the job done. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

They pressure washed all surfaces, but when it dried I did some extra cleaning because the cedar was weathered and held dirt/algae in some crevices. They did a great job replacing boards that had started to rot. They charged a reasonable amount when we discovered more boards than originally quoted that needed replacing. (One minor problem was that after all was finished I had to go around picking up the nails that had been pulled and dropped on the ground.) The paint job looks good! He helped me take some deck chairs down originally and offered to come back after the paint dried to take them up, but I didn't need him. Whole crew was good tto work with!

Excellent. Responsive, best price, willing to go the extra mile and do everything that needed to be done. Personally checked everything when the job was done.

Great! Crew performed tasks exactly as specified and were responsive to touch up any place we mentioned. Paint is on the house only, all areas not to be painted were masked off appropriately. Window washer commented later how there wasn't any paint on the windows at all! Job was started and completed exactly as stated and there were no surprises. Quality work.

Arturo showed up on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He took measurements of the spaces to be painted and discussed what paint we wanted to use. The color we picked didn't work with the low VOC paint we wanted, so he called us several times from the paint store to try to find a solution. He ended up arranging a time for us to meet with someone at the paint store to find a new color that would work for us. His crew did a fantastic job painting over the dark colors that were on the walls, including painting an extra coat where they needed to without extra charge and without taking longer than the original time estimate. Their attention to detail was impressive. They caulked all the baseboards in the house at no charge, even though that wasn't part of the work they had estimated, because "it needed to be done". When his crew was done with the job, Arturo did a walk through of the house with us, and had one of his guys there to fix the very minor details he found.

GREAT! We had to work around periods of rain, but the job was very professional. The crew cleaned up each day and were quiet. They even took the time to help me choose a color by putting samples on the house. They are a great painting company inside or outside.
