We had them come out and look at it first. He said there was no need to replace it and instead we could repair it. We were told that we wouldn?t even know that it had been repaired. We have cedar shake roof tiles and some of them were split. So they tersely put a metal flashing underneath where it was split and attached it. It looks like there has not been any repair at all. They did a phenomenal job and were incredibly professional. They said we could probably get another four years out of our roof after the repair where I?ve had other people say that we would probably need to replace it within the next year. They saved us a lot of time and money.

Dan came out on a Friday to evaluate the situation and called me that evening with an estimate. He was able to schedule the work for the following Wednesday and it was completed as planned. There have been several days of rain since the work was done and the area is no longer leaking. Dan was professional and timely throughout the process and I felt the price was reasonable. Dan apparently only does repair work so I felt I wouldn't get pressured to have more work done than necessary. I would not hesitate to call Dan in the future if I have another leak.

I called Water Wise about checking my shake roof after I discovered parts of shake on the ground. Dan Everts called me back that same day and came out to look at the roof. After getting out his ladder and going up on the roof to evaluate it and take some pictures, he told me that the roof could be repaired but he would recommend instead that it be replaced. He showed me digital pictures of the condition of the shakes. He said he could repair it for around $1200 but it would still need replacement in the near future. Since he does not sell or install new roofs, I was amazed at his honesty and professionalism. He had also cleaned some debris out of my gutter while he was on the roof and when I thanked him and asked how much I owed him for his time, he would not accept payment and even offered to answer any questions I might have about a new roof if I found someone to replace it. Needless to say, I am very impressed and would highly recommend Dan.

Dan was excellent from beginning to end! I called him Tuesday morning and left a message, not expecting to hear back until that evening. To my surprise he called back within a few hours while I was at work, and said he was in the neighborhood that day and would stop by our house afterward. He didn't even require that anyone was home and said we could talk through the problem over the phone, but unfortunately I had some meetings at work and couldn't talk during his first inspection. My wife was home, though, so she was able to show him where we had the leak. He gave us an estimate of around $140 to fix two flashings. I got the estimate and called Dan back that night, and he was going to schedule the job for the following week. But he called back in less than 10 minutes and said he could fit me in the next day. I was at work, but all his work was outside and again he didn't need anyone at home. While he was at my house I talked to him on the phone again and he explained a few other things he found, and asked me if I wanted to fix them. I chose to have him fix some small things and I took care of some others (like tree branches touching the roof). When he was done he sent me an invoice in e-mail, all of this without ever needing any money from me or meeting in person. Talk about convenient service! I would definitely recommend Dan to anyone needing roof repair. He knows his stuff, and since he doesn't install new roofs, he is a good unbiased source of information on your roof's condition. He gave me a lot of useful tips and information about my roof which will come in handy when we do decide to replace it.

Dan has done work on our roof a few times. He has always taken extra time to explain his findings to us and to make recommendations.

He came out really quick and knows what he is doing. I got the feeling that he will not suggest things that don't need to be done. He gave me good advice.

I called and was scheduled for a an appointment right away in a couple of days. Water Wise showed up on time after a warning phone call. At first he thought it might be the skylight, but after inspection he felt that it was one of the plastic roof vents flashings which had been installed using staples rather than nails through the proper holes. This caused the flashing to crack and thus leaking. He replaced the flashing and I have had no problem since. He even showed me the old flashing after he took it out so I could see what the problem was. I also asked about another possible problem and he checked it out. Though he could not determine if there was a problem he made suggestions as to what to do in the future and what to watch for.

Dan was a consummate professional. Available by cell phone early morning, in the evening, when on another job. Timely, honest, patient and easy to work with. I called 3 companies, he was the fastest and best price, took digital photos, and within 2 days sent a detailed quote with options, explained the work in detail. Custom ordered trim, scheduled work within a week, got it done in a day. Also referred me to quality air cleaning company, AirClean. One man shop, recommend him highly.

Dan is excellent. He only does repair work as he doesn't do replacement. He doesn't put any pressure on me to do the whole thing as he just fixed it and leaves. I have never had a problem with him and I would recommend him to anyone.
