I had a Douglas Squirrel making his home in my attic. I called Brendon, and we played phone tag for a couple of day, but Brendon was persistent so we connected. Brendon came out to my house the next morning after our initial phone call and he installed 2 traps. The next day one of the traps contained the squirrel and Brendon was out that same day to pick up the squirrel and relocate him to a better place than my attic!

Brendon is awesome. This is the second time I had him out here to perform bird work. Both times he was punctual, provided the service in an expedient fashion, and provided me with a great deal of information. The last time he dealt with a nest that had been in my house for several years and i have had no evidence of anything again. As per the woodpecker, so far so good. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any and all and quot;wildlifeand quot; issues.
Description of Work: Brendon came to inspect my property for woodpecker problems. He determined no woodpeckers had entered my home or created much damage. He screened the area (and other nearby) and put up scare, deter, and repellant material

It went well, we got the bid last friday, and he did the work today (monday). He was quick and professional. He was slightly late, but called to let me know. He also noticed an ant problem and took the time to point it out to me and recommend a course of action (something which he didn't need to do).
Description of Work: He covered all air vents to the attic with effecting netting/mesh to ensure no more birds will nest in attic. He also placed a trap in attick in case anything remains up there. The work is warrantied for 5 years and he will come deal with any trapped animals (if any exist).

I called Brendon Diment, the owner, in a panic knowing I had a squirrel in my crawl space. He was at my house within 45 minutes! It had entered from my kitchen, where my cat had brought it in the house and dropped it. The squirrel fled through a small dead space under my dishwasher and must have squeezed down the pipes into the crawl space. Bendon was quick to find it and set it free through a vent. Afterward, he repaired it all. Fast, cheerful and great!

Brendon arrived within the promised window this morning after having just contacted him yesterday evening. Prices were as quoted. The mother raccoon made things easy by leaving the kits on top of the trap door into the attic and Brendon quickly corralled the two screaming kits into a cage. Per his advice I will leave the mother access to the attic for 24-hours or so to let her confirm the babies are gone after which she should leave. By the age of the kits they had probably been moved to our attic sometime after they were about 1 week old since the damage to the roof has been more recent than the apparent age of the kits. Also per his advice I reopened one of the holes in the roof and constructed a rain diverter to minimize water entry per his directions (although he advises that she may tear a new hole instead). If she doesn't move on Brendon will return with traps.
Description of Work: Litter removal of two ~2 week old raccoon kits (Trip charge + litter removal fee - Angie's list discount). The mother was not around so she was not captured.

West Cost Wildlife Control did not return my detailed voice mail concerning the raccoon removal.
Description of Work: I called and left a detailed message for raccoon removal and to get a pricing but no one called back! NO I would NOT recommend this firm to anyone. Lucky for the few people that got a response from this company. So I called A All Animal Control who took care of my unwanted house guests. Tom showed up on time and set up the trap for Mama raccoon. She crawled into the trap that evening and Jack showed up the following day to retrieve her. The babies were a little elusive due to the design of the attic so they were not caught the first day. I pinpointed where the babies were and Jack came back in 2 days and caught the little ones. He did a good job repairing the entry point and reinforced it so it can't be pulled open again. Yes, I highly recommend A All Animal Control to anyone rather than the non responsive West Coast Wildlife Control. The $350 price I paid was worth paying in resolving my attic issue.

We called two companies, this one and another closer to Green Lake. The other guys did not call us back. Brendan came and set two traps for the raccoons. He caught them both over the course of about a week. He was professional and responsive. We actually never met him in person, we just left a check for him for the initial traps and another check once he had caught them both and retrieved his traps. That worked out well given our busy work schedule. He has offered to come back for no additional set up fee in case we have trouble again in the next 30 days. He provided us the Angie's list discount. The price seemed reasonable given all the time and travel involved for him, though we don't really have a basis for comparison.
Description of Work: We had two raccoons on our roof, who were mating and who had displaced several shingles. As we had learned that they often like to get into the attic to make have the babies, we decided to call someone to take them away.

I was very impressed with Brendon and the information and honesty and integrity that he had.
Description of Work: I have Mountain Beavers destroying my greenbelt hill. Brendon came out at the time he said he would be here. I learned more about Mountain Beavers then I could find on the internet. He had answers and solutions, most of which he said, I ".. could deal with it myself and here is how ..." Gave me a some good information and gave me his e-mail and told me that any questions I might have or help, to give him a call." Trust me I will. Brendon! :)

We called Brendon because of some signs of rats in our garage. He arrived on time and quickly checked out our garage. We learned more from him about rats in 15 minutes than I had in all the Web pages that I'd read. Brendon told us honestly that we could deal with the small problem ourselves if we didn't mind setting and emptying the rat traps, and we agreed. He didn't charge us for his time and advice, although I insisted that he ought to do so. If our problem doesn't go away, we'll certainly call Brendon next time too.

I contacted West Coast Wildlife Control in January, 2011 because something had chewed a hole in the siding of our house and got into the crawl space. Brendon came to our house at the appointed time to evaluate our situation and provide a free estimate. I thought it might be a squirrel, but he was convinced it was rats. He then provided an estimate to set traps and seal off access to the crawl space. This included three return trips to check and re-bait traps. However, things did not go as planned. After the first week nothing was trapped, so he waited another week to seal off the crawl space. After the second week still nothing trapped. Brendon then sealed the hole in the siding and around a furnace duct into our garage. On the third return trip there was still nothing trapped, so I do not know what invaded our crawl space. Brendon then told me he would leave two traps set in our crawl space and if I found any thing to call. Over the next two months there were only two mice caught and we did locate another small hole near the foundation. Brendon now has that sealed up and set the traps again. He has been great to work with and very responsive to calls if a trap has been tripped. Overall, I think he does a very good job and will recommend him to others.

The rats turned out to be extremely tenacious. Every time we thought we got them, we would hear noises a few days later. Brendon was more persistent than the rats. He came back consistently all winter and performed every activity necessary: checking and blocking access points around the roof and the attic and even the crawl space under the house, setting traps all over the attic. He put bait traps outside the house to monitor their presence. In the end, the rats were truly exterminated. Since he guarantees his service, we did not have to keep paying for each visit--he just stuck to it until the job was done--always cheerful and communicative. We liked him enough to have him come back to check and block access after we had our home re-roofed.

We got it off the Angies List He made a total of five visits. The first time he laid out traps and caught two big rats; a male and a female. The second time he had the same trap out and he caught no rats. Then he called on both sides of the house since he had seen rat droppings but did not see any further showings after he caught those two rats. Then he came back and added flapping along the side of our house where the cross stays open and there is a removable porch step, where there was an half inch difference between the sides of the porch step and where the opening under the house was and he added to our house with the nails that he bought flashing so that they will have no space. The cable guy had taken off a vent underneath the foundation, which was not replaced and probably would have a rat’s den, he reattached a bench or whatever you call it there. He also replaced the vent. Now that we have got the two offenders he went probably down to the grange, and get some of the rat poison traps. Mice don’t go in that far they are not attracted to it, squirrels sit up while they eat so they don’t go that far and it is only the rats that always go in get the stuff, go somewhere and die. They don’t die on your property, you don’t have to clean out the trap, they go off and die elsewhere. I am disabled and you have to go through grange at the Home Depot. The next time he came back to check and see how everything was that is fourth visit I asked him if he happen to have those traps so that I would buy from him . When he came back the following week he brought two of those one for each side of the house and left us the key so that we would open it and put in the bait in it. You can buy these at the home depot but he gave it for free and said that he would appreciate a good tip. Anyhow he gave us an invoice which stated traps, services etc etc and at the bottom of it, it was zero dollar. Awesome. We only paid the initial payment. He used to work for Public Pest Control. He had seen how poorly they did their work and how they would cheat people with chemicals that did not work and how they would over charge and all that. He saw all that bad system that he wanted it to be better and started this side business while still working for the other company. He found that he was getting lots and lots of referrals because he was doing such a fantastic job. He was always right on time. But one time he had not made a follow up appointment and a week went by. His wife called up and apologized for not taking up the follow up appointment. They came out, took care of everything and he brought his wife with him so that she could personally apologize for not making the follow up appointment. I am floored by the personal service. They gave us so much of their time and improved our house. We could have had rats after rats come in and need not have the flashing in there. He bought all the flashing and did not charge us for it. He brought the nails and screwdriver and everything and wanted to do it on the second week but had to leave in a hurry. He apologized greatly for that. The first week he shut that den and our cat stopped sitting and starring underneath the stove. Though we would look around we found nothing. There was a big hole that construction had left underneath the stove they had not bothered to shut it off. In our kitchen one bag had a nibble on it and we actually thought it was the cat. We had no evidence of any kind of rats or anything. One day there was one scratching on the wall but he was so quick he was here the next day. With pests like that you don’t want to wait around they will chew up the cords and electricity. I had a friend and they had ruined her car by chewing up the heating coil and chewing off all the plastic and all. The plastic coating on the wiring evidently taste good. They had opened up all the wiring. I will have him again and again.

I called Brendon at West Coast Wildlife Control because we had been hearing sounds seemingly coming from our attic for a period of time, and we wanted to ensure that our attic was not compromised. Brendon asked me a series of questions during the initial call that reflected and otherwise generally displayed an expertise in the area of wildlife behavior, habits, and animal removal. We set a time several days later (though Brendon offered to come out the very next day, a Saturday) for Brendon to come to our home. Brendan gave me a one hour block of time that he would arrive at our home. Although he had not yet missed that block, he courteously called to let us know that he had been slightly delayed by an emergency call, and that he would be at our house just shortly after the original promised block. When he arrived, we discussed the issue for a while, and then Brendon carried out an inspection of the perimeter of our home to identify potential entry points, as well as the attic. Following this inspection, Brendon let us know that he had not discovered anything on the outside of our home, nor did he believe, based on his inspection of the attic, that anything had been up there. He concluded that the noises we had heard were more than likely made by the many birds that spend time on the roof of our home. When I inquired as to how much I owed Brendon for his time and services, he indicated that he did not charge for the basic inspection, so we did not owe him a thing. This customer-oriented service is rarely encountered in this day and age, and was a very welcome surprise. You can bet that we will be making use of Brendon's services for future needs in this area.

I had rats living under my house. At first, I thought the estimate was a bit pricey, but Brendon kept coming out setting the traps until all the rats were gone. He saw where they were coming in and plugged that hole. Finding and plugging the hole was an additional service that was not part of the original estimate. I am very pleased with the service and would hire this company again if I needed to.

I found the dead animal in my backyard while raking leaves in near darkness on a Thursday night. I tried Bothell, Snohomish and King County animal control Friday morning for advice and could only leave a message. I chose West Coast Wildlife Control based on Angie's list ratings and nearby location. Brendon answered the phone immediately, came out on short notice (Friday afternoon) and removed the animal's remains at a very reasonable price. Discussion about what kind of animal it was vs. what I had seen of it, and it's condition (in better light Friday AM) brought out that it may have died due to disease which reinforced the decision not to dispose of it myself. Brendon was very postive and professional and also willing to discuss and advise about other concerns I had for pests in a garden shed, weak points on attic screens etc.

We had a family of racoons living in our crawl space, and terrorizing our landscaping and fences. We saw one run under the house through a crawl space vent. Brendon is incredibly knowledgeable, and taught us all kinds of interesting things about racoons. But, more importantly, he caught and removed them all. Then, he went above and beyond to help us by creating an innovative way to seal off some of our more challenging recessed crawl space vents. Brendon is very reliable, goes the extra mile to help, and is a bargain for the services he provides. We are so glad to be rid of the pests, and even more glad that there won't be any new ones coming along for awhile.

We had a raccoon break into our attic and give birth to her young just over the master bedroom. Called West Coast Wildlife Control the day after we heard her, and he was out the next day. He tried to trap the mother that first day, but she ran away so he set up traps in the yard to trap her. After a week she was still free so he came back and removed the young from the attic and tried to capture the mother that way. She would not come into the trap, so he recommended how to patch the hole she created to prevent her from entering. Was very happy with the work and would use again.

We had a racoon nesting in our chimney, Brandon came out the same day I called and explained the process. He put up traps around the property and had me call if there were any animals in the traps. He also checked in regularly to refresh the bait in the traps. He was very professional and understanding throughout the process. After seeing the amount of time it took to take care of the problem and the number of times he came back to check on things I was very satisfied with the price.
