Two Men & a Truck - Kirkland

Never got there. I was strung along and after I asked to reserve a date they did not actually do so. I find this out many days later when I was asking some follow up questions and they said "oh we can't actually do that date, but we can do these other dates." At the same time they realized they misquoted me by $500. I understand movers are busy, but if they couldn't fulfill the date I needed why wait until the last second to tell me. Now I have to scramble to find another mover who CAN do that dates I needed. Unbelievable.

Movers were punctual, professional, and the move went very smoothly.

Excellent. They were punctual and worked so efficiently that we were done 2 hours earlier than expected, saving me over $200. They were polite and took great care of our things.

They were prompt, courteous, funny, helpful, and took great care in our items. They're available 7 days a week and seem to genuinely love their jobs.

They were great with everything. The entire staff was easy to work with. They cleaned up very well after they were done with all of their work.

It went well overall. The only two complaints that I have is that two guys aren't always enough and some of my stuff got scratched up pretty bad. 1) Two guys aren't always enough: The last time I moved the company (different company) sent three men. They were able to move my house (same size, roughly same amount of possessions) in about half the time it took two men and a truck. Also, they were able to move heavy appliances better as there was one more person to help out. The cost to hire that other company was $535. The cost for two men and a truck was $750. 2) A few of my cabinets got scratched up pretty bad on the bottom. it wouldn't even matter to me except these cabinets hang on the wall so the and quot;bottomand quot; is actually what I see when they are hung. I did not file a complaint about this, nor will I, but it was a little frustrating when I discovered the scratches. Overall I rate them an and quot;Aand quot; they were very responsive, flexible with scheduling, and the two men who came to my home were really really great guys. My only recommendation would be if you have large, heavy, appliances to move it might make more sense to hire a moving company that sends out more than two people.

first time we hired them the team was amazing, second move two guys showed up high, in sweat pants with hoods up, we asked them to not open the door until the cats where in, they told us it wasn't there problem and walked out the door without closing it, they then broke a table leg and dropped a $2000 top coat on the grass and left it there while moving. when asked to be carful they told us that if we didn't like there work they could always unpack the van and leave. we called the manager who told us there guys are great and its our problem, they literally then unpacked our stuff from the truck and left us on our moving day with no way to move. i understand bad work crews but the managers clearley had no respect for a customer. if you hire these guys and things go horribly awry, you have been warned!

Fast response to request for quote. No problem with a sunday move, even on short notice. Hourly rate - remember that they do charge for travel time to and from their base location. Two men, one large truck,plenty of (rented at added charge) pads and wrapping material. Worked quickly and efficiently. Flexible on some changes to what needed to move to new house vs going into storage on site. let us know when they would take a (unpaid) break. No bumps or bruises to furniture and everything got to the right location. Not the cheapest service, but an and quot;Aand quot; for all aspects of the experience.

The movers were scheduled to arrive at 8:30 AM but did not get there until 10:30 AM. It took two calls to the main office to get the movers to call for directions. My original house is extremely hard to find and almost impossible without verbal instruction. Once I spoke with them all was well. I still gave the company an 'excellent' rating because Dave and Brian more than made up for the lost time. They only charged me the fair price for travel and time from their original departure point. They took excellent care of all my goods and moved many antiques without any damage, etc. They took hardly any time for breaks or lunch and were so friendly and helpful. It isn't often I would give an excellent rating to a company that shows up two hours late but they deserve it!

I have used this firm in the past, this was my best move by far with them. Mike and Cedric arrived on time and immediately got to work. They took great care with my furniture and placed everything where I wanted it when unloading. No damage to anything, and the move took 2 hours less than what was estimated! I highly recommend Mike and Cedric, they were fantastic.

They quoted me at $350 and they ended up charging me over $800. They told me two people could perform the work but I kept emphasizing they would need more people. They did not come out and estimate the job when I asked them too. It took the two workers over eight hours to perform the work which raised my cost. I would not recommend this company.

Late and charged me for time they were supposed to have started.Did not bring the tools to take bed apart (forgot his tool bag). Then said I would have to wait until Monday to get my bed setup.Put bed in place where I requested him not to put it.Would not use this firm again.

Kyle came out and did a walk thru of the Monroe house and provided us with a detailed proposal for the job as well as gave us hints and information for us to do in preperation for the move to help everything go smoother for both us and his crew. We compared Kyle's quote with another quote from a local moving company and felt that Kyle's proposal was much more realistic and detailed. The bid included two trucks and a team of 4 movers. On move day Chris and his crew arrived on time and ready for work. They made a walk thru and determined the best plan of attack. The covered the front entry door jams as not to damage the door frame or the furniture as they took it out to the trucks. All the furniture was wrapped in plastic to protect it as well as in moving blankets. The entire crew was friendly, very professional and respectful. Upon arrival at the new location the crew again did a walk thru, the house is a 1933 Tudor style 2-stroy home with a full unfinished basement. The stairs to the 2nd floor is narrow and has a difficult turn radius, also the the stairs to the basement are also narrow with a 90-degree turn at the bottom. These two issues caused a change in plans and we had to redirect a queen size bed alsong with some storage cabinets that were headed to the basement. Chris and the crew worked with us and made the move go very smooth even with the challenges of the older home. We highly recommend Two Men and a Truck.

The dispatcher/reception was very professional, responsive and provided detailed follow-up via email and phone. The two men and the truck arrived a bit too early and also got a bit lost due to their mapping service, but they adjusted that lost time from the bill. They were polite, protected the piece and moved it with care. They did a great job placing the piece and even came bake before driving off to move it three inches when I changed my mind on final placement.

A friend referred them, and we found them on Angie's list too. They were on time. It was great. They were careful, helpful, and they answered our questions. It was a good experience. The pricing was comparable with other companies.

They were very punctual and very professional. They were thorough.

I was very nervous about this move as we have all heard the "moving stories". The 3 men arrived about 15 minutes early and their cheerfulness put me at ease. Watching them handle the anitique furniture showed they were truly professional. At the other storage unit they made it fun.....as we separated the boxes I have been storing for my son for 25 years. I would highly recommend this company to anyone......it went flawlessly !

Excellent. Originally I was going to do the move myself. As the pile grew and my truck shrunk I decided to call somone. I called on Two men and a Truck on Friday prior to Labor day and was able to get someone the next day. They quoted me a minimum price and estimated that my job would be 3 to 4 hours. They arrived on time. They moved everything in the allotted time. Nothing was damaged, in fact they wrapped many of the items to insure that they would arrive unbroken. Great move would will use again.

Pros: No damage. Cons: Movers took 4 hours longer than estimated (though still cheaper than the other estimate I got). My husband felt that the movers took their time and were not efficient. It is hard work though. The lead mover hinted very loudly they wanted/expected a tip, which made me feel uncomfortable. I think they were better than our previous movers, but still not someone I would recommend.

We only moved about 3 blocks but still the 2 guys from Two Men and a Truck did an excellent job with our move. They were very professional and friendly and they made sure that everything we needed was moved and placed where we wanted it. We had everything packed in boxes, and they were careful not to damage anything. The move was done within the time and cost estimated. Great work!

Best moving experience we have ever had. We had someone come out and give us a quote about a month before we moved. I called one week before our move date and spoke with Kyle. He was extremely professional over the phone and had no problem accommodating our schedule. The movers showed up on time and were amazing. They took wonderful care of our furniture and didn't bang anything around. We have an extremely heavy piano and they had no problems. Before they left they made sure we were happy with the placement of all our furniture and boxes. Fantastic experience!

They called when they were going to be 5 minutes late. We were still packing while they Moved the furniture. When they returned the next day, they filled the truck and we were going to offload it, when the new owners showed up and gave us minutes to clear the house. The new owners informed the movers that I was no longer allowed in the house. These guys stepped up and filled up the truck the next day. The last day they had 4 guys and 2 trucks. Unfortunately, after granting me an extended payment plan they stopped returning my calls. But they may be wary of throwing good money after bad. A return call telling me so world be both appreciated and in keeps with their previous level of professionalism.

My husband and I were very pleased with their service. They were on time, professional and did the job quickly. They were able to complete the job in an hour which was less than their initial estimate. A very smooth and stress-free experience.
