Good price, on time and a quality service team.

I thought the price was pretty competitive. The quality was good, I don't have any problems with it. They were very responsive.We just think it's great. It really has helped our sun issue that we ha with our kitchen. It's very nice, it's a nice addition.

My contact with them was mostly via e-mail and phone. They were very responsive. They sent me out samples. The representatives did a good job of following-up. I think the price was fair for what they offered. It just did not fit my particular needs to what I was trying to get. They were very professional. I would consider using them again and referring them to a friend.

The installers showed up when they said they would and set about work immediately. The work was done in a professional and very precise manner. The installers ran into a problem which they stayed with until the problem was satisfactorily resolved. We were most impressed with the work of this company and the installers. Would gladly hire them again. Strongly Recommended!

I had a horrible experience with Sunrise Shading (SS). The lack of communication, the disrespect, and the unprofessionalism makes me wonder how the owner of SS is getting great reviews. I reached out to SS on January 23rd 2015 for a simple awning install with a wind sensor to retract the awning should strong wind occur. The owner came out to give us a quote. On January 25th, 2015, we paid him 75% of the cost to get it installed. He said it would take 2-3 weeks to get the custom awning ordered. By custom I mean the fabric, not the hardware. We had to follow up with him several times in March to ask for status and received several run-around excuses as to why it?s late. He never called us to give us status. The awning wasn?t installed until March 17th but the wind sensor wasn?t installed. The installation crew told us that the owner would have to come out and do it himself and that he would call us to schedule that appointment. 5 days later, I get a bill for the remaining 25%. I ignored the bill since the work wasn?t done. I had to call the owner on March 26th to schedule the appointment. He NEVER called us. Once again, we got the run-around excuse about why ordering the sensor is delayed. He offered me a refund for the sensor, which I declined because the whole point of using SS and agreeing to the work is that we get the awning AND the sensor. He said it would take 3-4 weeks to get the sensor and then HUNG UP on me. I was shocked. I called back, thinking the phone call was dropped. He never picked up his cell phone and never made an attempt to call me back. To this day, August 18th, he has never made an attempt to complete the work, yet I?m still getting a bill for the 25%. I wrote to him several times via email letting him know of my experience and in my final email, told him that I want to terminate all remaining services with SS due to extreme delays and poor customer service. He never wrote me back or attempted to resolve the issue with me. The A grade on here is misleading. As you can see from another review, that person had the same experience. I marked this review as service not completed because he?s not done his job - the wind sensor was not installed. I am now looking for an attorney to resolve the matter. All the money I thought I ?saved? by going with Sunrise Shading versus another competitor is now going towards attorney?s fees. Better to just avoid Sunrise Shading all together.

He promised we would get the awning installed within about three to four weeks, and he just finally came out after about eight weeks. He arrived late today, and he didn't call to let me know he was going to be late. The awning was also the wrong size.

Pricing beat the competitor. No delays. Courteous and easy to work with.

Dave (Sunrise Shading) knows motorized blinds and is adept at fixing them. He made an appointment within a week of our first call to come out to our place and inspect the blinds, and he confirmed that the motor was not working. He gave us a quote that was lower than what another provider had quoted and within the range of what appeared reasonable for the work involved. He ordered the motor and returned to fix it. Though it took time for the motor to be shipped from the manufacturer, Dave returned our calls/emails from time to time and also proactively kept us updated about the status of the motor shipment. When it did arrive, he was very prompt in coming over to fix it and did a professional job. We're very satisfied with Dave's work and professional dealing and will happily do business with him again.

The work was done swiftly and professionally, and it looks great.

I called these guys who gave me a competitive price to Costco for top of line Hunter Douglas Blinds. They measured, ordered, delivered and installed them with great results. We are really happy with them. They also provide great support to remove them when needed (when we got new windows) and to re-install them later. I would highly recommend them.

The owner contacted me quickly and we communicated via text message and e-mail trying to coordinate a date and time for service. He asked me to provide my information on the website so that someone could contact me. Even though I tried a couple of times, no one got back to me. Approximately 2 weeks later the owner e-mailed me asking if his company had done the installation. I told him no and again we e-mailed dates, but contact stopped and I have not heard from the company again. Initial contact seemed promising but more than a month later I feel that I was strung along. If they did not have time to do the job I would like to have been told.

They promised a 1:00 pm arrival, but called prior to that time and explained that they had complications from their current job and to see if they could install the awning around 3:30 pm. They finally arrived at 4:00 pm and apologized for being late. Once they started the job they were very efficient and hung the awing in less that two hours. They provided completed orientation on use and care of the awning once it was finished. They helped me clean the patio and moved the furniture back into place.

The person who came in was Mr. David Yost. He was a very nice guy. He was very good. He put up a brand new awning. The job went very well. I would highly recommend him. He was very dependable, punctual, decent and straight forward. He called and checked if it was okay to come. He came and fixed it. He noticed a gap in the siding and fixed that. He was good.
