+ -1 moreAfterwards, my hubs and I were both impressed at how clean the floor felt and how they got all the little crevices in the bathroom and even removed some soap that had been stuck since we moved in to the home! They followed up with an email asking how the service went and when I asked questions, they responded right away and answered all the questions that I had.
Description of Work: I've never had home cleaning service before but have always wanted to and finally pulled the trigger as it was just getting to be too much with work-life balance and kids. I asked my friends for recommendations and one of them had mentioned Rain City Maids. She said that they were a little pricier than others but she's been happy with them (and she's pretty particular about things so if she's happy, then they must be good!) I sent a quote request through Yelp (along with a few other companies) and they were the only ones that actually got back to me with a quote (others were asking for size of my home, wanted to come look at the space for a price quote, etc) AND they gave me a call to follow-up on my quote request within a few hours of my request. I was able to book them for that same week and was provided with emails on what to expect, reminders, etc. The two maids showed up within the time frame they quoted me and just jumped straight in to it. I was quote for 2 hours of service but as they were nearing the end of their time, they asked if it would be ok if they stayed an extra 15 minutes each. The owner even called me to confirm that they had spoke to me to validate the extra service time. I felt like the time they were asking for was justified and they weren't just working slowly purposefully. Their manager also showed up to do a quality check of their work and could be seen wiping down the door frames and doing little extra touches.

+ -1 moreThey charge $50/hr which is on the high side relative to others. Their customer service is excellent and the majority of the work was very good, but a couple areas were missed. Also, the vacuum they used did not pick up pet hair, so they went over one room 3 times. I was given a small discount rather than have them return to correct the missed areas since I didn't have time to be at home again during a return visit.
Description of Work: Arranged for 1-time 4 hours of service, similar to prior housecleaning services, to try them out.

Unfortunately we weren't able to get an appointment with Rain City Maids because they only work on weekdays, but I appreciate that their responses were very quick and helpful.

+ -1 moreTeam was punctual and professional. They had estimated a 7 hour initial clean but only used 6 hours. There was an initial misunderstanding on the number of cleaning hours (charged for 7 instead of 6) but they sorted this out very quickly and refunded us the money.

Took 1-2 minutes to arrange the service through their mobile site. I had to call regarding a key issue (my fault) and their customer service was amazing, available and incredibly friendly. They were on time, did a nice job and pricing was best I received. I'll be continuing monthly service.

+ -1 moreI went very well. Karyn and Kelly were on time in and out. While they were here they cleaned the bathrooms spotless as well as the kitchen. they vacuumed and made the beds. They dusted everywhere and I'm still discovering where they cleaned. They did it all in 2 1/2 hours.

+ -1 moreThe cleaner, Chloe, did a fantastic job cleaning my home and was very pleasant on top of it. She came at the scheduled time and stayed a little bit longer than 3 hours to get the job done. She was thorough and paid attention to the details, like making up the beds, cleaning out the microwave and toaster oven, and wiping down the front of the appliances. I will definitely be using them again!

+ -1 moreIt was AMAZING!!! I just got a brand new job, so I made arrangements with Rain City Maids so that they would be able to get into my place. They did an INCREDIBLY detailed job!! Even the wood trim near the floor in the bathroom got dusted and cleaned!! Everything was sparkling when I got home and the floors were truly CLEAN. I know this because I accidentally spilled something, and when I went to wipe it up, the paper towel did not pick up any dirt!! I am so happy with my service and will call them again for sure. Every inch of my floors were vacuumed and mopped, fixtures were shining and they do this cute thing with the toilet paper that I really like. It's almost like living in a fancy hotel after Rain City Maids has been there.
Description of Work: I needed my condo cleaned!! It was extremely dirty because it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in over three months.

Work was super thorough, and they were extremely polite (including waiting for the baby to wake up before vacuuming-thanks!) I'll be booking again.

+ -1 moreThey always arrive at the scheduled time and I noticed that sometimes if they are early, they will wait in their car until the scheduled time so that they're not intruding or anything. If no one is home, they come in through our garage which is super convenient. They always are respectful of our stuff but do move it around to make sure that they get a good clean. They have great customer service.
Description of Work: I have the Rain City Maid service scheduled for every other week and they just do a basic clean up for our 4 bedroom house (5 young adults). We have them clean the 2 living areas, kitchen, 3 bathrooms (one is a half), and master bedroom.

+ -1 moreVery good job. They had a checklist for each room and I reviewed it after the job was completed. In addition, they were very pleasant people and listened to my concerns about protecting our furniture and floors as they cleaned.
Description of Work: House cleaning for 2 1/2 bath, 4 bedroom house. Ten relatives (including 3 children) stayed in our house for two weeks over the holidays. I couldn't face the cleanup. I was so grateful I discovered Rain City Maids. Our floors had not been swept, nor bathrooms cleaned since before company. Lots of fir needles on floors since we live surrounded by trees. The cleanup crew even dusted the window sills and vacuumed the carpet on the stairs. Our hardwood floors upstairs, cork floors in our lower level and rugs were carefully protected as they cleaned. So glad they cleaned inside the microwave. My husband and I think they did a very professional job.
