I had an appraisal scheduled for Friday (10/4), and I was expecting a call once it was done. I did not receive a call on Friday, so I directly called the appraiser on Monday; I discovered they had not been able to check the roof, but were planning on doing it on Tuesday (not a problem, I understand things come up). Again, I did not receive a call on Tuesday, so I called and left a message on Wednesday morning. I never heard back from this call (and it's been two weeks). I confirmed with my tenants that no one showed up to look at the roof on Tuesday. I was disappointed in the lack of communication and follow-through, and have moved forward with another company.

Ryan, the rep, was excellent and very knowledgeable. I interviewed 5 roofing companies all were professional and in the approximate price range but I made the best choice of Pro Roofing. The company coordinated the permit with the city. The crew showed up on time on the day scheduled, tore a shingled roof off with a minimum of mess, replaced it with composition tiles, installed a new skylight and vents and replaced all flashing. A very nice and hard-working crew. Job completed on time. The gutters were installed after I had the house painted (about 2 weeks after the roof was completed. Again done perfectly. There were no surprises or extra costs incurred. I would highly recommend this company.

This was the first major project we?ve undertaken for our house?and we?d never dealt with roofs beyond moss treatment. We did our due diligence in getting three estimates, reading reviews on Angie?s List, and checking the Better Business Bureau, Master Builders? Association, and L&I; however, since we were planning multiple projects, we created our own list of questions for each vendor, wrote their answers down, and thus were better able to compare services and make what we felt were informed decisions. Micah spent quite a bit of time answering our questionnaire via e-mail?and then even more time when we sent the follow-up questions his first round of answers raised! We were also able to watch some brief on-line videos that showed and explained some of the things we were curious about?which--you guessed it--resulted in more questions. Micah?s patient and knowledgeable responses to all our queries and the information found on the ProRoofing website were two major factors in our decision to use them. The deciding factor was their price and what was included?we noticed that what the other two bids offered as ?extras? were included as ?standard? in the ProRoofing contract. Since we wanted these ?extras? anyway, it was reassuring for us roofing newbies to see them all listed out without having to pick and choose from a confusing roofing ?menu?. We felt confident in our choice because ProRoofing not only included what we felt were necessary ?extras? for a durable roof, but attended to aesthetic details as well. Picking out a color for an entire roof from a photograph or a small sample board is challenging. Upon our request, Micah provided a short list of addresses where we could see the two colors we were choosing between on a whole roof. Seeing these roofs (the oldest one was 2008), further confirmed our decision?they looked beautiful! Now OUR roof looks beautiful! It looks even better than we?d imagined and all the venting hardware on top of it was painted to match. We?re thankful to be able to take advantage of ProRoofing's annual inspection program and feel relieved that we no longer have to go through a hit-or-miss process to choose who we?re going to hire to take care of our roof in the coming years. Our climate has been beautiful lately, so the first ?weather test? is yet to come. Fantastic. Alex and his crew were very responsive, polite, respectful, listened to our situation, followed up to make sure we were satisfied. His crew worked hard when they were here, went the extra mile for us a couple of times, including, to our surprise, stopping by to add a screw that was missing to one of the roof vents (such a minor thing that we could have done the work..)

The entire process was handled very professionally by the staff of Pro Roofing. The estimator arrived on the appointed day on time and provided many pictures of the old roof and walked us through the process of replacing it. We agreed on the estimate given and set up a time for the work to be done. Bad weather caused some reschedules (From early February until April), but the company kept us informed each time a reschedule was needed. The work was done professionally. The workers started about 8:00 AM everyday and worked until about 7:00 or 8:00 PM. No debris remained on our premises; it was all hauled away. Our lawn was not damaged at all by their truck (collection of the old roof) and none of our landscaping was affected at all. They worked very carefully throughout the time on our property.

Pro Roofing is an amazing company to work with with and I strongly suggest you get a quote from Micah and his team before you make a decision to go with another company. I knew three years ago that I was going to need to replace the roof sooner than later. Over the last couple of years I did extensive research on different types materials and had seven different companies provided me quotes. Because it took me two years to settle on a company I was able to get two quotes from several companies before I made a decision. There are many fine roofing companies in our area but in the end the final decision came down professionalism, company reviews, quality of work, and price. In all four categories Pro Roofing stood out. Micah knows everything about roofs and will provided you as much or as little of information as you need. He is not a pushy salesman and will casually keep in touch to see where you are at in the decision process. Pro Roofing does not slam other companies and sticks to what Pro Roofing can do for you. I contact several of the references provided to be by Pro Roofing and drove around to several locations to look at past projects, shingle color, and type. I also found a job in progress and watched one of the teams working. Everything Micah told me would be done, was done, and in the end I have an amazing new roof on my house with a long term warranty from Pro Roofing and the shingle company. As far as the price goes Pro Roofing was not the cheapest of all my quotes, but price was only one of the four categories that I was looking for. When I finally got my decision down to four companies (all considered strong in the other three categories) Pro Roofing was the lowest quote out of the final group. Before I signed the contract with Pro Roofing I took the "scope of work" from all the companies I received quotes from and compared them together. Although Pro Roofing did not have a couple items listed, upon follow-up with Micah I was able to verify that they did the exact same thing. Some of the companies will try to sell you on minor technical installation issues, but the reality is Pro Roofing installation is the same as or better than the all companies I reviewed. After two plus years of research,and after the completion of the job, Pro Roofing is the only company that I would recommend to my family and friends.

Micah and his crew replaced our old shake roof with new gutters in four days. They were professional, prompt and hardworking. They connected the bathroom fan ducts to the roof vents which hadn't been done before. They even touched up the paint. They're a friendly group and competitively priced. I recommend Pro-Roofing.

After unsuccessfully trying to find an affordable roofing company who would do a flat roof, we gave up. Six months later and our roof sprung a leak so back out on the search. Coworker suggested Angie's List. Got quotes from four great companies and decided to go with Pro Roofing NW. Their lifetime warranty sealed the deal. From start to finish, they were very professional and responsive. The job took a little longer than expected but team kept at it, finishing up a day over but on budget. We highly recommend.

The sales person, Micah was knowledgeable, friendly, accessible and patient. We were dealing with 3 to 5 houses, hoping to get a group rate. Not only did he come repeatedly to our neighborhood, but was actually happy to do it. The crew was courteous, respectful of our plants, animals, as well as us, and completed the job in a timely manner. They worked long days and picked up loose debris every night before leaving. I had notified them that we had two storage areas, and they spent extra time removing the cedar shake to keep the mess to a minimum. In the contract, is a promise to return to do an inspection of your roof yearly, if you request it. We can attest to their willingness to do it. Two days after calling them, they came, inspected the roof and repaired a vent screen damaged by a squirrel. All with no charge! Love Pro Roofing!

Mixed. The roof took a bit longer to install than advertised, altho not important. We love the roof. The look as well as "feel" is great. The roof functions as advertised. Our complaint is in the installation. Of course, it was known we had steep roofs. This lead to bent and deformed gutters. Ryan stated after my complaints that they install new gutters on about half of their installations. I can understand that, altho I don't think it is necessary. While I'm not a roofer, I don't see why you can't remove and install a roof without ruining the gutters. We left town after the install. We received a call from our neighbor that the gutters on the south side of the house were overflowing. I called Ryan about this. They came out and unblocked the downspouts. Several days later our daughter called saying there was water in the basement, apparently from overflowing gutters on the north side of the house. We had NEVER had water in our basement before (35 yrs in the house). Our daughter was unable to unclog the downspouts, so I called Ryan again. They unclogged the downspouts, but said it was leaves. I clean the gutters every year, we had had no problem w/ gutters during the winter up to the install in March and roofing materials were blocking the downspouts, according to our daughter. The long and short is, that altho the roof is great, the installers rate only average. I would not recommend them.

The crew that came out to replace my roof was led by Vini Oliveira. They showed up on time and ready to work. Each day, they worked well into the evening and the job was completed in less than four days. My wife and I appreciated the professionalism and attention to detail that Vini and his team always exhibited. Throughout the process, they made certain that the landscaping and shrubbery around my house was well protected. When the job was completed, a "walk-around" was conducted with Vini to ensure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Not only did my roof look great when they were done, my yard was immaculate, also. I have been very pleased with the way that my roof turned out and many of my neighbors from Pine Lake Estates and Pennington have commented about how beautiful it looks. I whole-heartedly recommend Pro Roofing to them based on my experience.

I will be using them for roofing work. One of the things I liked about them is that they said they would be using 6 nails per shingle, compared to the 4 that another company told me. I liked the presentation they gave me. I also liked the way they proposed the venting to me. They put together an album of pictures of his work. He was willing to give me references, so that I could get comments about their jobs.

I called them the week of May 1st to get an estimate on a roofing repair. They told me that someone would be over between 12pm - 3pm that Saturday, May 5, 2012. I gave them my cell phone and asked that whoever was doing the estimate call me once they were done taking a look. No one called on Saturday or Sunday. I called and emailed them on Monday, May 7, 2012. It's Tuesday, and still no response. This was something of an emergency situation, so I needed a contractor to engage quickly. Very disappointing because the person on the phone seemed very nice. I wouldn't use them again because they were non-responsive. I have no idea as to the quality of their work, but, in my book, this is not a good sign. And I called them because they had a relatively high rating on Angie's List, so this is doubly disappointing.

)We got estimates from four companies, including pro, platinum, larry's haight and redmond roofing. Pro wasn't the absolute cheapest had a competitive price (almost 10 k$!!! lower than the highest bid) and seemed to offer essentially the same quality roof as the higher-priced ones (down to detailed use of materials, approach to the job etc.). They got the job started on time, and as far as we can tell (after one winter) the job seems to have been done well (no leaks, looks good). The job seems to have been done with care and the quality looks good. They did not cause any damage to our house, driveway, or garden (they protected everything with board) except one small rosemary bush (we have a lot of sensitive plants up near the house. The staff were courteous, and worked hard. The job took twice as long as projected (6 days vs 3). Partially, this was due to the weather (it rained two days straight; btw they covered everything meticulously while it rained) but partially it was due to the variable number of crew at the job (apparently trying to juggle multiple projects). Overall, we were pleased with the result and the price. Give that we accepted the longer duration of the project.

Pre-sale service - since this was my first house and first roof replacement, I had very little knowledge about the different types of roof or the work involved. Micah, the sales manager, was extremely patient in explaining the products and terminology, and answering all of my questions. Calls and emails to him were returned very prompty, and when he felt it was sometime better explained in person, he would stop by. Micah came over a total of 3 times before I signed the work order. The work - the crew was great. Showed up on time and did their work quietly and efficiently. Besides the noise from the actual work (tearing, nailing, etc.) I did not once hear yelling, laughing, or even as much as casual bantering or chatting. This was a professional crew that took the work very seriously! The finished roof looked beautiful and the crew did an awesome job cleaning up. Post-installation - Leslie, the office manager, actually called to make sure I was satisfied with the work before sending me an invoice about a week after the roof installation. I find this emphasis on customer satisfaction extremely refreshing. Also, in the 10 months since I had the roof installed, I had a home inspection done as well as the gutter cleaned. Both professionals (the home inspector and the contractor cleaning the gutter who himself is a roofing contractor) told me they did a great job with the roof installation. All in all, my experience points to a company that takes pride in their work and puts a lot of emphasis on customer satisfaction. I'd highly recommend ProRoofing to anyone. This all started with a number of A-rated roofing companies I selected from Angie’s List. Once I received bids from all the companies, I chose Pro Roofing NW because of a number of factors. Price was certainly one of these factors but much of my decision was based on my interaction with Micah Valentine and the perceived value of using his company. Micah was quite passionate about what Pro Roofing NW would add to the equation over all the rest. His confidence and fervent belief in his company, products and crews was infectious. It was ultimately an easy decision given all the bids received, to use Pro Roofing NW. Further, now that the job is complete, it was the correct choice! We couldn’t be happier with the results…

Do: The over all work was done to my complete satisfaction. I'm glad I had the roof replaced, including removal of all of the old roofing material, since it has been raining ever since the work was completed. A mobile dumpster was used to collect the old materials so very little fell to the ground. Materials were delivered and shortly after that the crew arrived and began work on the roof. It was scheduled for a one day job but rain caused a delay and the work was completed the following weekend. Everything was covered and there was no problem with leakage. Since my home is in Redmond, their Kirkland location was advantageous in getting the work done in a timely manner. Don't: No problem with installation

Micah Valentine, the Sales Manager, came to our place to inspect the roof, go over details of the process from start to finish, advise on roofing materials and provide information about the company and cost estimates. We were very impressed with his detailed presentation and knew of the reputation of the company from reviews on Angie's list. We would have chosen Pro Roofing but for a lower bid from another company for a comparable job

Excellent Roofing Services. Micah has worked with me to pick the best roof for my house and Pro Roofing team has installed it in just one day. They even replaced the roof on my backyard shed for just $200! The price was very competitive and I picked out Pro Roofing, because a lot of things that other companies were charging extra for was included in the Pro Roofing price. And the Roof looks beautiful with proper ventilation and security hooks. Pro Roofing was very responsive and came out to answer all my questions and to address all of my concerns in most professional manner. Pro Roofing also provides Lifetime Transferrable Warranty on the services and workmanship, which combined with roofing material warranty is a great deal!

I chose Pro Proofing for our re-roof project because they came in as the lowest of three bids. I called the 2 references and they turned out to be good. The re-roof project started and watched the guys work fast, but soon noticed things I didn't like. They damaged/bent all of the gutters and they blamed it on how steep the roof was. They offered to pay half in which I found my own bid in which it was a lot less then Pro Roofing. They ended up paying the entire bill in which they should of done the first time, but this was a real hassle and felt like I had to negotiate this which was not fun. I still have debri in the yards, attic, scuff marks on the wall of the house (they said they would paint and fix before starting job). Still have lots of staples on the wall of house I need to remove from roofers. They stapled tarps and just ripped the tarps away leaving the staples behind. I am concerned with hips in the roof since I watched the guys just cut the fabric under the hip roofs and install the hip roofing. This is not correct and there should be felt overlapping the hip. I don't believe the workmanship/craftmanship is all there. I felt like they are mostly concerned with getting in and then getting out as fast they can. The roof looks good though, but I hope it lasts for many years without any leaks.

The project started well. Ryan was very professional and came in with pictures describing exactly what they will do and their price was very reasonable. Ryan also offered a discount for signing a contract the day of the quote - which we did. Our questions were well answered and we were very happy with their presentation compared to the other ones. They were able to start very soon and the project was supposed to last two and a half days. The workers showed up on time and came with a big truck and knew what to do. At this point though, there was a major communication lapse as what we understood was the job was not done correctly when in fact additional rot was located on the roof that needed to be fixed. Pro Roofing spent the next week fixing this rot and completed the job. They then presented us with a bill for the extra work, though at a much lower rate than a week's worth of work would normally take ($1500). In the end, I appreciate that Pro Roofing took the time to correct this rather than just put the roof on rotten wood. However, due to a number of communication problems we did not realize this at the time. This was compounded with the original invoice not including the discount originally agreed to. These caused a great deal of confusion and stress. In the end, I would recommend Pro Roofing as they do care about their clients and make sure to do a quality job. The work done looks very good and if they had given us a quote for the extra work required before actually doing it the review would have been much higher.
