I didn't hire them.
Description of Work: I took the day off work and received a voice mail the morning of the estimate informing me he couldn’t make it but would email it to me. The job was estimated, without stepping foot on the property, much higher than the others at a mid of $24K. The company never reached out to reschedule nor did they follow up on the email. I don’t hire for major projects sight unseen, especially when it’s obvious, in my opinion, there’s no desire to meet with the customer for a high level project review with some simple Q&A. My impression was they’re not customer driven.

I got quotes from several companies, but Ryan the sales rep was the only one who patiently explained to me face to face the whole roofing process. I got a good feeling from this company as they were very professional. Scheduling was easy, and all of my questions were always answered promptly. I got my roof replaced in September and I wanted to wait a few months before posting this review. 3 months later, and after several days/ weeks of heavy rain and wind, I have happy to say that I have ZERO leaks. Workmanship was very good. I would highly recommend this roofing company.
Description of Work: Had an old shake roof that needed to be replaced. Opted for comp. roofing instead of shake this time. They replaced the entire roof and also replaced several skylights.

I negotiated with and received proposals from nine roofing companies to replace our shake roof. I narrowed down the companies to four based on their professionalism, detailed information, and pricing. I also did a review of past customers of each company and called suppliers for credit references on the companies. After doing my research I narrowed my decision down to two companies. Pro roofing sales representative was the most professional and attentive through the project. The project started with the owner of the company and the supervisor of the roofers doing a walk through on my project. We ran into weather issues but they were handled by the roofers. I had one leak during the tear-off but the supervisor responded at 12:30 AM to fix the leak and we had no apparent long term damage in our home. The sales represetative kept me informed of the process and did a final walk though with me to fix a few issues. I would talk to the supervisor on the job every day and all my questions were answered. We now have a beautiful 30 to 40 year roof. I really appreciated the promptness and professionalism of the sales representative, the owner and the supervisor.
Description of Work: Complete tear off and shake replacement on our personal residence. We selected tapersawn shakes vs. hand split. We also had pro replace a skylite. They put in all new felt, valleys, heater and plumbing roof pipes, flashing on brick fireplaces, and ridge venting.

Ryan supplied a very detailed estimate which he printed and gave to me before he left my house. I obtained estimates from 4 companies and they were all within a $1000 dollars of each other, but Pro Roofing seemed the best to me. Pro Roofing was able to start the job 1 week earlier than they had anticipated, the crew showed up early and worked late. My neighbors and I were very impressed with their team work and quality of work. One skylight had to be special ordered so the final completion was slightly delayed. They used a magnetic "comb" to pick up nails, staples, etc. This worked fine on the asphalt driveway and the street, but was less successful on the gravel driveway.
Description of Work: Pro Roofing removed one layer of roofing, sheeted roof with plywood,and applied new 50 yr. roofing to house and carport. Approximately 38 squares. They also replaced the gutters, installed gutter guards, and replaced 3 skylights with double pane low-e glass. One day to remove, sheet, and cover with 30 lb. felt paper. A second day to apply the roofing. A separate crew removed and replaced the gutters in about a day and a half.

Another good lesson on dealing with building services contractors.
Description of Work: Pro Roofing was one of seven roofing companies we requested quotes from to replace roofs on two of our condominium buildings. The job exceeded $100,000 in roof repair/replacement costs. They were responsive and responded to questions and concerns we had on the particulars of their bid which is in sharp contrast to most the other roofing companies who came out to assess our roofs. The majority of bids from their competitors were at best vague in that no mention of what services were to be performed and which materials were to be used. In short Pro Roofing was professional and responsive. We did not select them on the basis of price. I's advise that when dealing with roofers you read the proposal/bid in detail because few roofing contractors include particulars in their written quotes which seems to be epidemic in Seattle. So, if you do select a contractor and the job is something less than you expected, you'll have little to refer back to if legal remedies are mandated. Of the seven roofing contractors we sought bids from five had Better Business Bureau Complaints, an alarming portion of which were not resolved and still were pending resolution. The bottom line,stay away from the companies with unresolved complaints you are asking for trouble.

Our torch down roof a low quality job, and was progressively degrading to the point that it needed replacement. We selected several top Angie's List roofing choices and asked for bids. ProRoofing agent was both responsive and professional, provided a competitive bid and did so without demeaning other firms, a common theme among the other bidders, it seems. ProRoofing was flexible and accommodating with our schedule, the material was delivered a day ahead and on time, and the next morning four roofers showed up as scheduled to replace the roof. This team of roofers is truly professional: they are efficient, focused, clean, and meticulous with their work. They completed the work on schedule, and cleaned up the roof, the yard, and the driveway when done. The new roof looks nice and professionally done and ProRoofing offers a lifetime warranty on it, an added peace of mind for us. Replacing a roof is a major investment, and we were careful and deliberate as we moved through the process of selecting a firm to do it for us. We were very satisfied with ProRoofing and the work they performed.

They came out and determined that the roof was okay and didn't need to be replaced. So, there really wasn't anything further for them to do. They were timely, it was easy to make an appointment with them and I liked that they didn't force a new roof on us. Since we were uneducated on it then it would have been really easy for them to come in and say we absolutely need a new roof, but that was not the approach they took at all. They were really helpful in wanting to be what I determined was honest about our options and not try to sell us something we didn't need.
Description of Work: Pro Roofing came out and looked at our roof for a leak that was happeneing on the inside of the house. We weren't sure if it was because of a faulty place on the roof or something else.

I received 5 bids on replacing my roof and Pro-Roofing came in w/ the best price and the highest quality material. During the decision making process, Pro-Roofing kept up great communication w/out being pushy - this showed me that they really did want the job. From the sales call to the final inspection, everything went so smoothly. Every person that we dealt with was knowledgeable, courteous, and very professional. Both the roofing crew and the gutter crew were great. They showed up on time, put in a full days work and always cleaned up before they left for the evening. Thanks Pro-Roofing! They were great. The workers were very polite. They cleaned up well. They were efficient. They did everything to accommodate me as it was a mess while they were working. They were very professional. They did a good job. It looks really nice. So far I am very satisfied with their work. They started the work one week ago and it took them 3 days to get it all completed. They charged $17000 for roof and the skylights. The gutters will cost $2000. The person that came out and gave the estimate was very knowledgeable and helped us make a decision about which product to put on the roof. He was very professional. I liked working with him. They showed up a week late for installing the roof but we had a horrible November. So I can?t fault them for being late.

I was very happy with them. They were great. They came out right away and fixed the problem right away. There has since been a couple big rainstorms and no problems with the roof. It wasn't a big job, but he was very responsive. I didn't meet with them because it was my rental, but he met with my renter and was very professional with them.

I highly recommend Pro Roofing. They were quick to return my phone call for an estimate and came out to my house within 24 hrs. Skyler prepared the estimate on site after meeting with me. Alex and his crew had the roof torn off and re roofed in one day, so we didn't have to worry about any water damage which can be a concern here in the Northwest. I found Pro Roofing very professional to work with and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
