Potts Painting

Everything went very smoothly- they even fixed other peoples mistakes. We had insulation blown in 2 days before painting and the insulation subcontractor made a huge mess and left a bunch of holes in the walls that needed some serious patch work (he was suppose to leave it paint ready). I called Rob a bit panicked to tell him about it, but he said not to worry, that his guys would take care of it. We worked it out as a time and material add on and his guys patched them up so well you can't even tell they were there. We also didn't like one of the colors once we saw it up on the wall and Rob was fine with making a change halfway through the process. Again we worked out a time and material extra. He was calm and collected throughout the process and everything that came up, they just wanted to make sure we were happy with the final look. The price for the changes was very reasonable. The Paint looks great!

We had a great experience with Potts Painting. From our initial contact Rob was professional, prompt, and easy to work with. He came out quickly and gave us an estimate on site. We were looking to have the exterior of our house repainted along with an additional small pool house in the backyard. Rob explained the procedure & timeline and was able to answer all the questions I had. We had a few issues with dry rot on some of our siding and his team was able to address that as well. Rob's team arrived on time on the day we scheduled our project and were courteous and professional. They took great care to ensure our brand new concrete patio was protected along with all other surrounding areas. During the project we realized we wanted to make a few adjustments to how we wanted the trim painted and Rob quickly made the changes for us. Overall, the final product looks fantastic and I would highly recommend Rob & his team.

Rob was very prompt and professional in showing up for the bid, and providing the bid. While it was a little higher than some other bids, I had no doubt he would have done a good job. While we did not hire him, he had some very good suggestions.

Rob, Mark, Solomon and his crew were absolutely amazing. The bidding process went smoothly with no hidden fees or watch areas. Scheduling was simple and the team started when promised. They completed a huge exterior job in 4 1/2 days, often staying until 7-8 PM and cleaning up nightly. The team moved fast, did an amazing job, did nightly walk throughs with me on what was accomplished or things I was worried about etc. I will definitely be hiring them again for a large interior paint job this time.

Rob was excellent with every meeting. His professionalism and amicable nature made us hire him. He also had a very reasonable quote. His rest of the team was very professional as well. They got everything done in time and did a great job. My only qualms with them came at the end where his team did not agree to fix the spots that were accidentally dropped on the patio. Rob came over to fix it personally and I appreciate his time.

I'd definitely hire Potts Painting again. Rob (owner) was quick to get us an estimate for our projects, which was competitive with other estimates we received. His team was then able to complete our projects ahead of schedule and on consecutive days, and it even managed to schedule and complete an unexpected repair without any problems. We are happy with the results of the work and with the entire process of obtaining an estimate, and then getting prompt, courteous, and professional service.

I found Rob (owner) after I was getting the run-around during the bid process from another company. I wish I would have just found Rob first and saved myself a lot of hassle. Frustrated at the other company, I called Potts and asked for a bid appointment and he came to the house the very next day and did a thorough walk through to understand the three different projects I had in mind. After receiving the bid by email that night as he said would happen, he was available for questions and clarifications, and came back himself a couple days later with fence stain samples and to take a sample from our house for paint matching for the shed. Rob had his crew here the following week. He said our project would take 2 full days and part of a 3rd, and it took exactly that. The crew of 3 were professional, friendly, did quality work, and had a good balance of working on their own, and also checking in a couple times a day when they had questions. Rob also sent a project manager (Mark) on the morning of the first day to make sure the crew understood the project and got started successfully, and the PM came back at my convenience a few days later to do a final walk through and attended to some minor touchups. Would absolutely hire Potts again!

Excellent work and a professional crew got the job done with minimal disruption. i am very pleased with their work.

Their team did a great job in setting up for the job with a thorough power washing. The paint team got in as best they could with the fall weather and still managed to get the job done in a few days. There were a few touch ups needed after the initial painting, but the owner came out to inspect the work and found all of them before I did. The team returned the next day and finished those touch ups. The job all went smoothly and the team was very easy to work with.

Most of it went well. Had to call them back a couple of times to paint some missed spots but it was done.

Rob and his crew did an outstanding job painting the exterior of our house and shed, staining our wood fence (both sides at 350 ft. long!), and installing new light fixtures. They also performed minor repairs to our house siding and deck, and rebuilt a shed ramp. They spent a great deal of time and care prepping everything before beginning the actual painting, including protecting the surrounding plants. We encountered moisture ants in the siding a few days before painting was to start, and Rob knew a contractor who was able to quickly come and do the necessary repairs. The level of detail by his crew (especially Fernando) was excellent; and they were all very friendly and efficient. Overall, we’re very pleased with their work and would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs any painting done. And we’ll most definitely hire them in the future, when it comes time to paint the interior of our house.

Everything went as planned. House was painted on schedule, professional, timely, neat. A couple minor repairs were made along the way for a very reasonable cost too.

Rob came out and did the estimate. I liked his approach and attention to detail. It took a few calls and emails during their busy season to get on their calendar, but once we did everything was smooth. Rob personally inspected the job, found a few issues which were corrected immediately, and even came back one more time for final inspection. I don't think Potts is the cheapest in town, but they do a great job and I would definitely hire them again.

Excellent work. Started on time and everything Rob said they would do they did with care and quality. It was a 3-day job and at the end of each day their supplies were cleaned up and out of the way. After the job was done you couldn't tell they had been here other than the brand new look our front exterior had. Highly recommend these guys!!

Rob Potts and his crew were excellent. Responded very fast. All work was done in a timely matter. Rhys (superwoman) prepped the areas to be painted. Rob, Joel, Fernando all were very professional. Very pleased with the quality of work. They all cleaned up after, even vacuumed. We received one other bid, but went with Pott's because they were a little less expensive and most importantly moved all the furniture for us, and did not charge extra;) We also used them for exterior painting a couple years ago, did a great job! Would hire again in a heart beat!

They did a terrific job. They did wallboard and plaster work as part of the job. They were timely and the price was reasonable. They were very trustworthy, friendly, and well organized, they left everything clean before they left.

Quality was good. Only one small glitch. My husband approved the white for the trim. ..lots of shades of white. ..not exactly what we wanted. But finished product looks very good.

Both projects went extremely well. The employees were professional, attentive to detail, kept me up to date on their work plans and cleaned up well afterward. I'd like to especially note the work of Travis, who is the kind of worker everyone dreams of getting. He was personally cordial, diligent, timely, thorough and *very* hard working.

Rob was quite responsive, both in getting us an estimate and in getting the work done right. He got us a competitive estimate promptly, and because he's the owner and because of the mostly good reviews on A-list we went with him. Rob and his manager Rhys did a great job communicating on schedule and timing, as well as on any questions we had. They also made sure the job got done right. Overall we were very pleased with the work.

Potts Painting gets an A+ from us. When we decided to have this work done, I checked Angie’s List, and then left messages for the first 2 painters I called – they never returned the calls. Painting company #3 made an appointment to come out and give us a bid. They didn’t show up at the appointed time, and after an hour, I called the office, which confirmed it was on his schedule. They said “we’ll check to see what happened and call you back” – it never happened. By contrast, Potts’ office staff was very responsive, and the owner, Rob, came out the next day. He was friendly and professional, consulting with us on stain types. His quote arrived the following day. The crew that came out always arrived on time, and worked hard all day. The quality of the work was terrific. They meticulously pressure washed and prepped everything, taking care not to damage any of the many plants around the house. Rob came out to check on the job, and he and his crew made sure that we checked everything over and made any touch-ups we requested. All in all, a great experience with a beautiful result!

Communication Willing to listen to my concerns and give appropriate responses, sharing information on tentative plan to work around obstacles, etc. Very polite, respectful and a flexible/fluid problem solver. Rob was totally open to my level of detailed discussion so that neither of us would have "assumptions". 3. Customer contact Rob kept me up-to-date on anticipated dates, duration, arrival times etc. in a timely manner. 4. Neatness Generous use of drop cloths during project. End of project cleanup was thorough. Took away all job-related "garbage". 5. Attention to Detail When job appeared completed, Rob went around looking for any items that typically would need anything. Asked for any observations by me as to final product to make sure I was satisfied before he and his crew left my site. 6. Trustworthiness Rob did exactly what we agreed to...my job took 2 days. On the 2nd day we had to be away from the project but I had no problem leaving him and his crew there on their own to work away. He called as he was leaving for lunch break to let me know he and crew would be gone for 1/2 hour in case we returned home during that time (which we did). 7. OVERALL SATISFACTION - Excellent Congenial professionals and crew who finished my project [which I started but was unable to complete because of obstacles beyond my abilities] to my initial level of what I expected. I would hire them again and recommend to friends. I want to thank Rob and his crew for fitting me into THIS season when my request was at such a late date. Thank you.
