We had our entire exterior repainted with a completely new color scheme. Rob was very responsive from the get go and provided great feedback on color schemes as well as paint options. The team which did our exterior paint did a wonderful job, including adding trim to windows. Looks amazing! We needed some interior works done as well and even though it was peak time for exterior painting, Rob was able to get us on the schedule for a rainy day. As with the exterior paint work, interior looks great!

Excellent, top notch work. Our old paint was faded and flaking away, and some of the siding was starting to crack. Potts Painting came in, fixed everything up, replaced the worst of the boards, sealed everything, and thoroughly painted the entire house. They have a great eye for finishing details. It looks great!

Potts painting did a great job. On time, below budget and they did not leave a mess. Have used in the past, and will use in the future.

Summary - Extremely poor experience. Very poor quality work, very expensive, and very dishonest. Would not recommend at all. Details - They were the most expensive bid I got. But I went with them expecting that I will get better quality for paying more money. Turned out I got poorer quality that the cheaper contractors I have hired in the past. Caulking was missing in many places. Many of the places were not even painted - you could still see the old paint. They did not even do a proper inspection at the end. As I kept pointing out issues, they would come just "patch" that one spot and go away. It was super clear that quality was not on top of their mind. Moreover they charged $4000 and my house has vinyl siding, so the actual painting surfaces were very few. The biggest surface to be painted was the garage door. Before they started the job, I asked them to not do the garage door since I was going to replace it anyways, and just take off the money for that. I was very surprised and disappointed that from $4000, they only took off $150 from the price. How's that even fair - the garage door was the biggest surface are to be painted anyways. The rest were just small trims. I tried to work with them on this, but they just stopped responding to me. They are very dishonest, and I truly feel cheated out of my money.

Potts Painting did and always has done an amazing job.

Project went well. Started on time and completed within expected timeframe. Painters were very good quality painters and they cleaned up well at the end of each work day.

Writing a constructive review will be difficult for me. I worked for this employer over 20 years ago, so I might be bias in some of my review. The positives... The workmanship, quality and communication were all stellar. They use a quality product. They're willing for detail is great when it comes to painting. Rob was great at communicating with me to let me know what was going on. The price was well worth the finished product, of which I'm very happy with. Negatives? The pressure washing experience had me questioning returning to an employer I had worked for. Since my time with this company, the owner now subcontracts some of the work instead of it all being his immediate crew as it was when I worked for him. It's because of this that I feel some quality had been lost. I had to have them come out twice to clean it correctly. And in the process they broke one of the vents to one of my air systems. It was later replaced at no cost to me, but made me grumbly at the time. I explained my bother to the owner, he explained to me that he let that crew go. They no longer work for him. Everything after that was great. I continue to endorse Potts Painting to friends and family in need of house painting. They do great work.

These guys did excellent work and even provided some extra service on railings in front, work that was not really in the bid but they threw it in. Place looks great. I didn't rate the price because I don't really know how the price compares to others, but I think it was a fair deal.

Attention to detail and prep work seemed pretty poor. The initial painting went seemingly to plan, but after they were done I noted: 1. Large bubbles all over the house 2. They didn't mask my back railing, which became covered in paint splatters 3. Didn't caulk around windows 4. Really rough job doing the trim (splotchy lines) 5. Didn't wash behind the rain barrels, then proceeded to paint over dirt. 6. Not much scraping of existing chipping paint 7. I expected the cracks in the existing siding to be less noticeable after caulking/prep work 8. Didn't mask the roof, there is now a white patch on the shingles from painting the gutters 9. Didn't move the trash can/rain barrels prior to painting, so is now pretty paint splattered. I asked if they needed to be moved too, but was told no. 10. Trampled some plants. I asked if they would be OK (I would have transplanted them!), but they are now pretty dead. This is pretty minor, but still annoying. I called them back (twice!) and they more or less fixed 1-6, but I guess I just expected a better experience.

I wish all contractors were like Rob Potts. We had an absolutely excellent experience working with him and his company and I would 100% hire him again. Rob was responsive over email and he and his crew were very professional. What left the biggest impression on me was his attention to detail - I am a very detail-oriented person and I am accustomed to needing to follow after contractors to point out any areas that need touch-up or a little additional work. With Rob, the opposite is what happened - when the crew was finished, Rob and I walked around the house and he pointed out to me all of the places where his crew would need to do touch-up, and they followed up and did so. The end product was a house that is beautifully painted and a job I feel I can trust.

By far the best contractor experience I've had in a long time. They matched paint and helped me choose which of the many whites I wanted for trim color. They gave me recommendations on what to paint for trim when I asked for it. I was impressed that they gave the house a week to properly dry after pressure washing. The crews were friendly and professional, listened to all my various special considerations and completed everything just as requested. They took great care around some inconvenient plants that I asked them save. They have a "fresh set of eyes" policy where someone else comes and checks and touches up anything they find once the painting crew is finished. The house has a great fresh look and I'm very happy with the result.

Rob Potts came out and gave an estimate. He explained what the painter would need to do. The job was done about 10 days later. The painter did a great job staining the fence. He used 2 coats of stain. He cleaned everything up. I would use this company again without any hesitation.

Rob and his team are truly wonderful to work with. Rob helped select the right paint and colors. His team were on time and worked diligently each day on the job. Potts Painting is not the cheapest painter in town but with him you truly get what you pay for. Highly recommend without any hesitation. Plus he had professionals to do door adjustments and some woodworking repair. A real blessing.

Very Well! Potts painted 6 rooms and a hallway, that included a 15" vaulted ceiling. They did it in less than a week. They were punctual and impossibly clean, We are so impressed that in our new house when it comes time to paint we will be calling Potts.
