The entire job turned out beautifully. They did a fantastic job on preparing all the wood that needed nails and screws in a few places. They were polite and professional from start to finish. A great team. I highly recommend this company and we will definitely hire them again when it's time to repaint our home.

The experience went very well. He showed up on time to give me the bid. He was diligent and prompt.

Pressure washer Scott came the Friday before service, but was unable to complete the job because he aimed his pressure washer directly at the support beams for the living room cathedral ceiling and water was coming into the house. The painters came the following Tuesday and were completely professional and knew their stuff. They stained the house and shed with stain that we purchased, taking care with our newly installed double pane windows. They then painted the doors on the shed, garage doors, front porch and back deck railings with our prepurchased trim paint. They did a spectacular job.

We solicited estimates from four painting contractors we selected from Angies list. We were able to narrow the selection to two quite easily. Excellent service and quality from start to finish. Jeff Potts showed up on time to give us an estimate to paint our home. He offered great ideas on which color and type of paint to use for the doors and the never painted wood front porch handrail. They have been very busy and we were scheduled for painting at the end of the first week of September. They came and did the power washing the week before and then proceeded to spend the next few days scraping off a lot of old peeling paint from an old poorly done paint job done by "cheap painters" I hired about ten years ago. They even cut off a lot of old nails sticking through under the roof from a roofing job done 15 years ago. They taped and masked off the windows and trim and proceeded to paint. They had to stop half way through the job as the weather turned to rain for many days. But once the sun came back out and things dried off, they were immediately back to finish the job. Potts Painting did an excellent job every step of the way and it showed in the final results. Excellence from point of initial contact to cleaning up after the job was finished. Their communications, promptness, knowledge of products, eye for detail and experience were superior. We are very glad we chose Potts Painting to improve the appearance of our home. Kudos to Rob Potts, the founder and owner of Potts Painting. He was the one who headed the team that painted our home. He did most of the painting and detail work and his experience shows.

The Potts familly and their crew were very responsive and professional throughout the staining of my house. They promptly responded to all of my concerns and came back for some touch ups after the project was complete. I strongly recommend them and they will be at the top of my list for future work.

We were very pleased with the job that they did. Jeff Potts came out first to do a walk through and give us a quote. He was very personable and friendly. He was here a good 45 minutes or so, fillling me in about the family business, how they work, etc. I felt very comfortable with him and the job they would do. We had someone help us with our paint selection and their recommended paint was one that Jeff hadn't heard of, so he took the time to meet with our paint person and get the specs on the paint to ensure the quality was going to make us happy. He set that up on his own time and we were pretty impressed with that. They came out and gave us a working plan and let us know how we needed to go from day to day in terms of moving furniture or living in the house while they were working. We both work at home so this was very important for us. They came with as many people they needed each day and completed the job in 4 days. At the end of day one, when we got home from dinner, they had completed all the "main" walls (with 2 story walls, etc) and we noticed something didn't seem right. We could see all the roller edges and cutting in around doors and windows. In the morning, we brought it up with Rob Potts and he determined they had a bad 5 gallon bucket of paint - so he worked it out with the supplier and repainted the entire area - and it looked GREAT that night. We were worried they wouldn't be able to finish in the timeframe they had allocated, but they brought in more people to make it work. I would highly recommend them. We had some tricky spots as our downstairs has wainscoting, built in shelving and cabinetry. They masked it off and did a good job of painting around certain elements in our house. Every day they cleaned up any mess they made and the house was completely livable in the evenings. During the day they did a good job of keeping things pretty well compartmentalized so that they didn't interfere any more than they had to with my wife and me living and working at home. We even have a little girl who takes naps in the afternoon and they were very understanding about that in working around her nap schedules. It was good. They were very punctual and very professional. We would use them again in the future. Hopefully it will be a while before we need to paint the interior again!

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. I found this company via a reference from a neighbor. Rob and his son Jeff were professional and courteous during the entire process. Jeff did a walk through and provided a bid immediately after. I had multiple bids and felt comfortable with both Jeff and the bid price which was competitive. The entire painting crew excelled at customer service; they were on-time and did a high quality job. They paid attention to detail (there was a lot of intricate trim work involved) and were great communicators. At the end of each day, the work area was tidy and organized. I will definitely use them again for future painting jobs and will refer them to my friends. Overall, an outstanding job; every aspect of the prepping and painting work was handled professionally and the entire crew was friendly and a pleasure to work with. The house looks great. Kudos to Rob, Jeff, and the entire team?my top recommendation.

Of the three companies interviewed for this job I was most comfortable speaking with Jeff Potts. The bid sheet form included detailed descriptions of the prepping and painting process. Each of those details were pointed out to me during the interview. Afterwards Jeff added additional details that applied to this specific job. The three day job began when the weather cleared enough to allow completion. Day 1 was cleaning, day 2 prepping and priming, day 3 painting the two coat finish. Each day the area was left in tidy, organized manner. Questions that were asked of Jeff at the end of each work day were easily answered to my satisfaction. A scrap piece of gutter was available to use for matching colors. The trim had not been painted in decades so there were areas that had worn to bare wood and showed their age. The crew did a great job filling and priming those areas for a good looking finished job. One especially worn area needed extra attention after the job was completed. It was taken care of the same day that I notified Jeff. I would use this company again. Every aspect related to the painting was handled in a professional and complete manner. What I would do differently is to ask if there was anything near the house that I needed to move for either the safety of the items or to allow access to the work areas. There were several plant pots that I would have moved myself rather than rely on the paint crew to move them. The actual landscaping around the house showed no signs of mistreatment.

Very well. They worked hard and were on time. They even worked one weekend to make the project deadline. If there was a concern, Jeff would address it immediately. The cleanup was fantastic and our house looks like new.

Rob and his son Jeff are a great team. Jeff does the upfront work and has a great energy about him. He demonstrates what customer service is all about. He was able to do the bid at the end of our walk-through and did so in a very transparent fashion. Rob runs the paint team and you can see where Jeff, his son, gets his energy and positive attitude. Rob and his helper did a great job. They were quick and did a quality job to boot. Way better than the last time the rooms were painted. They paid attention to detail and checked in with me to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it. I can't say enough good things about this small company! The experience was fine, they are pretty straight forward. They came out and looked at the job. They gave me two options because I wanted to paint the lower trim and have them paint the upper trim so they gave me two bids. So then I told them I just wanted them to pain the upper trim.

This was an overall very good experience. I had just had a popcorn ceiling removed and finished with a smooth plaster coat and decided that I would like to have the ceiling painted before putting the kitchen and dining room back together. Jeff Potts responded almost immediately to my initial phone request for an estimate. He came to my house the same day and gave me a firm price. Two days later Rob came and did the work. It required one primer coat and two finish coats. I am very pleased with the result. Both Jeff (the son) and Rob (the father) were very friendly and professional. I hope to use them again.

Rob was very personable; understood the nature of the problem and how to fix it. He was punctual and respectful of our time and schedules and there was no trace of mess.

My house had not been painted for 24 years! The wood siding looked so awful that I was afraid it would have to be replaced. Northwest Home Maintenance's price was 15 percent lower than other estimates. The end result is that the house looks as good as it did when it was new in 1984. At the same time I was having the house painted, I was having the roof replaced. The owner (Rob Potts) was flexible in working around that crew AND the October rain storms. He was prompt to the minute, wonderful to work with, accessible immediately by phone and responsive to questions. I have an large number of rare and unusual plants from friends who are plant explorers and who pass new selections on to me. Some plants are impossible to replace and/or would be very expensive to replace. The owner and the crew (Eric and Jeff) respected my plant collection and did no damage despite the garden being a literal jungle (bananas, cannas, tree ferns, restios, tetrapanax) with a narrow path to traverse with their ladders. I found this company via a reference from my banker who had seen their work on a friend's house and immediately engaged them to paint her house. There was a 3-year-old review on Angie's List that was also favorable. I come from a family of 3 construction companies. Mid-painting, the entire family visited and also found the work flawless (and were stunned at how good the house looked). My highest recommendation.

I REALLY APPRECIATED HOW ROB (THE OWNER) ALWAYS CALLED ME OR SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO. HE AND HIS PARTNER WORKED VERY EFFICIENTLY TOGETHER AND FINISHED THE JOB IN LESS THAN THREE DAYS!
