They were extraordinarily good. The prep work was very comprehensive. They did a weeks power washing and caulking. They arrived when they said they were going to and finished when they said they would.

Potts Painting did a great job, our home looks beautiful. We got started a little late in the season so they had to deal with the weather and work around the rain but they were there every day that they could work, they did a beautiful job and cleaned up after themselves. They were easy to work with and all of the workers were courtous and made sure that everything was up to my specifications. The final bill was exactly what they had bid except for something that I added last minute, which they were pleased to do for me. Highly Recommend them, thanks Rob and crew.

Rob was prompt on his quote, true to his word and although our paint service got pushed out a little due to weather (not his fault), everything looks fantastic and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely recommend Potts painting to others in the area.

I called and set up an appointment for a bid to paint the exterior of my house. No one showed up or called to say they were not coming. I called up the next day and got an answering machine and left a message about the missed appointment. I wasn't home when the call was returned apologizing for the mixup. The man who called left me his cell phone number and promised to make things right and come out and do the bid. I left a message for him on his cell, and he never returned my call. I stopped pursuing this company and went with someone else

I left a voicemail for Pott's Painting on 9/17 with a request for an interior paint quote. My message was never returned. I have high expectations of highly recommended service providers and I don't feel like I should be tracking down a provider to give them my business.

very well. I was not satisfied when I saw the finished job but Mr Potts came back took a look at it and agreed to come back and finish off the areas I had a problem with. He was very pleasant and did everything to complete the job to my satisfaction. I am very happy with the way the deck turned out. Mr Potts had his workers come to remove the BBQ and the patio furniture before starting the job. He also came back to put the items back on the deck. after it was completed.

Travis and his colleague did a great job with the painting and kept me in the loop regarding questions and issues. They went the extra mile to make sure that everything looked good and were very courteous and professional. Rob Potts and the team returned after the job and attended to all the minor issues/cleanup I requested - I would thoroughly recommend this painting company!

Rob was very professional in dealing with this project. The primary painter was Seth who did a great and thorough job in painting all of the exterior railing. Weather was a challenge but Rob scheduled everything to meet the requirements. Rob was very cooperative and pleasant to work with on this project.

He did an amazing job! He was punctual, tidy, and it looks great. Since the closets were not part of the deal, he offered to paint them for an extra $50. I felt like I really got my money's worth. The only problem I had was that he never billed me for the extra work and when I left messages and emailed him, I got no response. I think it's a small company and they were overwhelmed, but I felt sad that I was never billed for the extra work he did.

We were very happy with the quality of work performed by Rob and his staff. They did an excellent job and we were especially pleased with the time and effort they put into refinishing our front door and side panels. It came out looking like new. We will definitely use them again.

There bid was the best. They provided us with a more detailed option list on how we wanted the finished product to be. They were prompt in responding and providing us with the bid. We notified them that they had won the bid and they have provided us with a start date for the project.

Everything went well. They were very professional, arrived on time, and were flexible in terms of completing the work. They also did a good job with all of the rooms, and we would definitely recommend them.

I was very pleased with Potts Painting. My initial contact was with the owner's son, Jeff. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, plus ones I didn't know to ask! This was our first time contracting out for a paint job and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a 5 day job, and they stayed late on the 5th day so they would finish when they said they would. Rob, the owner, came a couple of times to check to make sure the team was doing what they should, plus came at the end to check things out. We had a couple of communication problems, but it all worked out. They painted our dining room, entry, living room, family room, kitchen, mudroom, bonus room, upstairs hallway, master bathroom, trim and stair railings. It is a very professional job. They cleaned up every day and put things out of the way which was nice.

In the end, i was very happy with the result of the painting. They completed the job on the day that they said they would but ended up having to work very late. They had thought that they were going to start at 6am and we had left a key for them to enter but they didn't get started till later which was not an issue for me because the condo was unoccupied. Rob was very professional when he came to talk with my wife and I about color choices and provided some good recommendations. My only let down was that multiple (small) nail holes were not filled as it had been quoted as well as they did not have a vacuum to clean up some of the debris left on the carpet when they were finished. I'm not sure if it is normal to expect that the painter carries a vacuum with them but it would have been a big plus since I did not have any furniture or cleaning products in the house. Rob did come back immediately the next day and he touched up all of the holes on the wall that were left unfilled and of course did not charge extra for that.

I was in a real predicament when the painters I had scheduled to paint the interior of my house decided to cancel on me the day before. I called Potts Painting and he picked up right away, which I wasn't expecting because it was 6:30pm. I told him I needed to get a bid asap, he told me he could be out the next day which was perfect. He was professional and courteous and didn't mind my puppy jumping all over him. He looked over the house with me, asking about colors and paint brand choices; took him about 15-20 mins. I said I really would like the bid asap possible and he said he would get it to me that night. I didn't end up going with Potts painting because another company I had give me a bid was able to start the next day. And with my house being torn apart for the past 2 weeks my wife said get the painting done now. Potts bid was within $40 of the other bid. I'd definitely say his prices are reasonable for the quality of work he provides based on the pictures I saw. I'll be calling him for another bid once I need my exterior done.

In 2012 I obtained several estimates from painters here on Angie's List. Some whom I called never even responded. While Mr. Potts' was one of the highest estimates, I was impressed with his prompt response and professionalism. Other issues with my home prevented getting the work done in 2012 but I did call him in 2013. He put me on the schedule and kept me informed as to where my job stood on their list. It was a rainy May so it took a while for them to get to me, which was perfectly fine and understandable. The Potts crew were pleasant and professional young men who got the job done in parts of 2 days. The work was excellent.

I sought quotes from a number of Angie's List contrators. Rob Potts was quick to respond, made sure he understood what I was looking for and made suggestions as to how to accomplish as much as possible whilst keeping spend reasonable. His quotation was detailed, and he was quick to modify it as we agreed on changes. I decided to go with Rob because his quote was competitive and he made sure that we had a clear agreement on what was to be done. Rob also gave me options on start date. He held to the date we agreed upon, his crew started on time, were professional, did a good job and tidied up at the end of each day.Rob was in every day to make sure everything went to plan. I was very pleased with the result, so much so that I have now asked him to do some external painting. I have no hesitation in recommending Potts Painting.

Potts declined to bid on my project

Ron Potts was prompt in returning my call and coming over for estimate. His painters were on time, polite, trustworthy and excellent at their job. They made sure floors were swept and clean before they left and garbage was carted off site. This was my secondtime using his company. The first was a smaller job of painting a family room. I did not bother getting a second estimate on price so I have nothing to rate that on but it seems fair for the amount of work completed.

They will have a quadruple A rating. For what I was expecting with discount sale through Angie’s List, the price was low. There was a lot of repair work that they had to do as well. They were very responsive, attentive and good quality of work. They were very honest. Their workers were very professional. It looked excellent. They did come back and touch up one area. They told me to walk around the house, look and find especially in some areas where they are doing white on old white it is hard to tell. Only the home owners can sometimes see exactly, if I didn’t just want anything differently. I called and he was out the next morning before going to another job, on everything that needs to be done. He told me to call his cell phone and he will be there. It was that way from the original bid on. Originally the painting was due to be started on the first part of July but because of a family emergency I had to fly out of state on a 5 minute notice. I didn’t come back for 8 weeks because of a family emergency. I am still taking care of my brother flying back and forth. That was right when they were scheduled to start. I had to be here because my husband had to be at work. So what he did instead of cancelling which a lot of companies would do; he would call me every week and say I will see you out in one more week, is that what you wanted to do. He did that until I had a date and asked him to schedule me then. Not too many painters and companies will be that responsive and congenial. He was very responsive to emergency needs. He was really easy to work with. He made it and he kept bringing other people forward. I was appreciative of that. He just walked on water and his whole crew did. They were always very clean, tidy and respectful. With other people I always find cigarette butts here and there that they forget to pick up but with them there was nothing at all. I have a chimney the birds love to destroy in 5 years and I have to redo the house in 10 to 15 years. He recommended me to buy a chimney and he was always right. He nailed it right on the head. I really appreciate the Angie’s List discounts that are provided. They really helped and the companies honor them without any question because of Angie’s List. It has saved a lot of money. They were very, very wonderful. I would not have found them without Angie’s List.

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the level of professionalism exhibited by Rob and his team. The crew were on time every single day that work was being completed (four days). They left our home in the exact same condition in which we left it. The crew moved our furniture (we removed knick-knacks) and put everything back in its exact place after the painting was dry. One of the things that impressed us the most about Rob Potts, were his speedy replies to phone calls and e-mails. Every single e-mail I sent was replied to with such promptness! Rob was friendly, easy to work with and he put extreme attention to every detail of the paint job. If there was an area that his crew missed, he would tape it for them to touch-up, no matter how slight the touch-up. A perfectionist. We were most impressed with the way our powder room turned out. Despite our initial skepticism about painting due to the hard to maneuver crevices, Rob's team didn't miss a centimeter and were able to paint even the hardest reaching places. Rob also provided color consulting which helped my husband and I stick with a color scheme that we were are thrilled with.
