over the phone took a detailed description of the events leading to the stinging incident and provided some education about yellow jackets and/ or /versus paper wasps I didn't watch the operation of starting with the point of concern and searching for other areas of potential stinging insects., removing the soccer ball sized nest, spraying repellant, directly killing some yellow jackets and applying something else (not sure what) to kill and keep away? At this point I cannot comment on the overall effectiveness of these efforts but hopefully I won't encounter the yellow jackets again on my property (no telling if they might come from other properties) any time soon with regard to pricing I saw that others charge the same amount for a similar service (but there are discounts with some providers which can further reduce the cost of a visit so it is not clear to me that the price is high -- just no discounts) No attempt to get into a maintenance agreement which to me is a big plus

We had used Trey Shelton many years ago and called him to help with a yellow jacket nest. His fee was reasonable then so we thought it would be this time too. We made the BIG MISTAKE of not asking for an estimate before he started the work. As a result, we were SHOCKED when he charged $360 in labor for 1.5 hours of work. We do not think $240 per hour is a fair and reasonable charge and as a result still feel like he betrayed the trust of a former customer. The total charge with tax and materials was about $450. We are embarassed that we paid him this amount, when we could have had others do the work much better and for much less. We complained the next day, asked for the receipt we never received and to also consider revising it to reasonable charge and to give us a partial refund since we felt he totally violated our trust. We had one live conversation with him and haven't heard from him since. WATCH OUT if you choose to use Trey and get everything in writing before you let him start to work.

This is the second time we have used Pest Control Northwest. We had several visible nests which was why we contacted Trey but as he walked around the entire property he found numerous nests that needed to be treated. He also treated the gutters as a preventative measure. Very pleased with service.

Overpriced. Talked to several over exterminators that quote $200 - $250 for the same service, with a year-long warranty from date of service.
