Shilly Sumampouw was our Project Manager from Maintco who helped up through a project to recover from water damage to our condo guest room and bathroom. We felt so grateful to have Shilly work with us during the months of repainting/repairing a guest room and managing a partial bathroom remodel. We found Shilly to be very knowledgeable and professional. Shilly was very attentive and quickly answered our frequent texts/phone calls. Shilly was responsive to our concerns and also very supportive & patient during the project. We so appreciated the chance to work with Shilly and her team who helped make our water crisis turn into an opportunity to revision our guestroom and bathroom into beautiful spaces. We are pleased to highly recommend Shilly for her exceptional help in working with us on our remodel project.

Quickly responded (within a WEEK!) to an emergency patch and paint. I trusted Hiro in my house and he left the room. Well priced for a quick, smaller job. I would hire them again for a bigger job in the future.

I can't say enough bad things about this company. They put in change orders that were part of the original plan in order to make more money so that the original bid was not what they planned on charging us. We disputed the bill at the end of the project and they took us to court to wring the rest of what they thought we should pay out of us. They had a horrible project manager that did not watch what was happening on the site, so sub contractors ran amuck charging us extra at every turn. We tried to negotiate with the owner, Mike Royal, and he took us to court and was about as mean spirited as they come. Stay away from this company if you are remodeling anything.
Description of Work: The entire interior of a 3,500 square foot home was remodeled around the year 2000.

I had Don, a contractor from MaintCo, come for minor townhouse repairs. He was very polite and professional. Started the appointment off by giving me his card and taking off his shoes without being asked because he was observant and saw shoes by the door (much appreciated!). He was well prepared and brought new parts for all the possible issues we were having (brand new fire alarms, although we already had them... no problem he would just return the ones he bought for us; and brand new fan motor for the bathroom). Don figured out fixing the bathroom fan was as simple as replacing a small plastic dial, and gave me the option to run to the parts store across the street to look for the right piece so that he could make the most out of our time since he was on the clock. So instead of $25+ fix it was $4. He also noticed small issues around the house and took the liberty to make the quick fixes although he had not initially been sent to for those issues (tightened a handrail and fixed a doorstop). And for fixes that would require more of a specialist (the curtains are a fancy system), he was able to give us referrals and did his best to make the curtains manageable for now. I didn't really have a choice of who was coming to the house, we rent the townhouse and all maintenance is scheduled through the property manager and paid for by the landlord (so I cannot comment on how much the cost of service was), but we would gladly have Don back to the house again for any other maintenance needs.
Description of Work: Small maintenance around the house (fixed curtains, door jams, reinforced handrails and towels, changed fire alarm, fixed bathroom fan)

Great work! Conscientious, on time, punctual, seemed to be a good value. Very fair. They cleaned up well, they call to confirm the appt. times. They had basic courtesy that alot of people don't do anymore. And I would have called them now, but have moved outside of their coverage area. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We had recently moved and the movers broke our washing machine drain line that leaked down one floor.

Maintco is not an actual service company, they call service master to do their job. A pipe in my condo broke and flooded my entire unit and the stairwell. I needed to replace the carpet, pad, drywall and crown molding in my condo. I was not home when the condo flooded and a neighbor called maintco to address the issue. I was confused when service master came instead of maintco but I did not ask questions, instead I needed the mess cleaned up. Service master was professional, quick and knowledgeable. When I got the bill from service master for $18,000.00 for 1 days work and 1 small room to have drywall replaced (i chose to paint it myself) I was astounded. I called maintco and asked why they sent me a bill when service master was the company that showed up, they explained that they are simply a dispatch service and I did not need to worry about the bill, "just send it to your insurance" My insurance denied the claim and so I went to service master directly and asked to pay the bill, service master was willing to let me pay them directly for the $4,800.00 I called maintco and told them there must be a mistake in the billing and I was going to pay serivce master directly, Maintco freaked out and said, no you need to bill your insurance. I explained my insurance was not going to pay and I needed to settle up, but was not able to pay $18,000.00. they told me too bad, I hired their services and then in turn they hired service master and it was none of my business how much service master charged. This was rediculous but they told me if I did not pay the full amount that it would go against my credit. I wish I had heard about "Get Jesse" on King 5 news back then I would have fought this thing to the end. My condo association now goes directly to service master and there prices seem fair. WARNING: Maintco is a ripoff and likes to get a lot of insurance money and hire out another company to do the work.
