Was contacted through Angie's list about 20min after mentioning it on Angie's. Said he could come by within the hour, and he did! Fixed the garage door very quickly, about 20 min or less. Door now works like a charm. Two thumbs up.

Danny did a great job with a my less-than-ideal situation of an old, noisy door with worn parts, unsafe springs, and old chain motor with poor security but HOA wouldn't let me change the door (because I couldn't get a new door that looked exactly the same). Danny had to source hardware and reinforce this old door. I also wanted the door to sit higher when the door is open so that I can fully open the car trunk. His experience with commercial installations meant he had no trouble raising the height (another business told me I couldn't do it without getting a side-mounted motor) and was gracious with multiple visits when it took longer to source some hardware over the holiday period so that I could have the new motor that provided greater security as soon as possible. My old door is now opening smoothly, quietly, reliably and sits nice and high. Thanks Danny!

All the old flimsy wiring is gone; new fixed wire runs were made so as not to interfere with my multitude of gardening tools which can now be organized on the garage wall; the ground sensor lights are installed into the cement walls rather than having the plastic housng dangling loose; I open & close my garage door with my cellphone securely using the software app; the app notifies me of any garage door open/close status......me going in &out, & if I should forget to close my garage door, I can remotely close it via the secure app. I can even use the app to grant garage door permission to a neighbor or friend when I am traveling or in an emergency, Life is good! When I first spoke to him about the repairs I needed, I got a strong sense of his integrity and credibility and immediately knew I could trust him to do an excellent job at a very fair price. My first impression was correct. He showed up when he said he would and completed all the work (replacement of the garage door opener and all the related necessary parts, springs, etc) in less than 2 hours, leaving my garage cleaner than it was before he started. Danny was great. He called promptly and arrived within the agreed upon time frame. He assessed the problem, recommended a solution and had all the supplies to replace the garage door motor immediately. He was friendly and completely removed all the broken and replaced parts. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Danny is excellent. He described the options of repairing and replacing the garage door. He fixed the out of balance issue and found the damaged cable which is more dangerous. I will definitely use his service and recommend to all of my friends.

Our 25-year old garage door opener finally gave up the ghost and I submitted a request for quote via Angi's. (Earlier in the week, I had requested a quote from another garage door service and had not received a quote after 4 days!) Danny at Lake Washington Garage Door Service immediately responded with a phone call and emailed quote at 5:00pm on a Sunday during a holiday weekend! I thought the quote was a fair price based on another quote provided. Danny said he could at our home the next day, Monday at 10:00 am. He called and said he was on the way and was promptly here at 10. The installation was first-rate and even called out that our nylon roller bearings were worn and replaced them as well for a fair price. He was done with the install by 11:20am. The belt-driven LiftMaster opener is amazingly quiet. I would definitely call Lake Washington Garage Door Service again for any of my garage door service.

Danny and his team were professional, courteous, honest and practical about what could/should and should not be done to remediate the nightmare original assembly and installation of 1800 lbs and $15K premium doors. They were fast and efficient. Please use them and NOT the scam artists/marketing garage door website that troll google and bing search. Most of those guys shouldn't be trust to hang a towel rack, let alone garage doors.

We had our garage completely break down today from horrible springs and infrastructure put in by our original house builders. With our cars stuck and the kids at school, we were just hoping that we'd be able to have someone look at this ASAP. Danny replaced the springs and pulleys. The outside keypad had corrosion on the battery, so he put in a new keypad and programmed it for me. I still had some problems a day or two later and so he came back and cleaned off the sensors. Everything is working great now.

Responded to call quickly. Was able to repair same day. Quick, friendly and adhered to safety (COVID) protocols. Garage door now opens smoothly and quietly. Would definitely recommend.

Danny Granfors, the owner was very knowledgable and made me feel that I had finally found the right person for the job. I cold called Danny after purchasing our house in east North Bend and discovering the garage door really was broken. We thought we had a wooden garage with a broken spring... The install crew knew we were busy working from home, so they quietly cleaned up and closed up and left everything behind for us in the garage (manual, clicker), then sent us some txt messages saying they were done. By the time I got outside, the crew was gone and our new Garage door was both looking and working Beautifully! Within minutes of their leaving, we heard from Danny, who wanted some pics and to ensure we were happy. We're way out in North Bend, so I don't mind the remote service, especially during the pandemic. Because my system was so old (30 years!) he didn't have everything he needed to repair it on the spot, so returned on a Sunday to do the work. My system was failing in more ways than one, and Danny was able to figure it all out and explain it to me very quickly. In the end, I decided to bring the entire system up to date, but there was no hard sell or pressure whatsoever. And though I spent more than I was hoping to, that was mostly to my expectations being as old as my garage door opener.
