Expo Interior Upholstery did a fine job. Other than the fact that they were 2 blocks away from where we lived at the time. They were convenient, very polite, responsive, did what they said they were going to do, and did it in the time frame they said they would. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

I had used them before for some dining and chairs. They had done nice job and were fairly reasonable. So I called them again to do this job. They do a pretty good job. I would use them in the future.

We brought him an old and beloved chair originally custom-made in the 1950s. He appreciated the original workmanship and wanted to remake it "as good as new." He clearly took tremendous pride in doing a superior job. We were very pleased with the care and attention that went in to the details of making this chair from scratch. After the great work that he did on the chair, we asked him to make the ottoman. He suggested we email him some details but we found that he was not very responsive by email. We communicated best when we came by his shop and spoke directly to him.

The cost to re-upholster (labor only) was almost twice the orginal cost of the small sectional. Decided to pursue other options. The work on other furniture in the store seemed to be done well.

I stopped by the shop in Juanita and the next day Marco and Maria were out at my house measuring and talking to me about options. It took me about a week to finally pick the fabrics at which point Marco was able to give me a quote for the work including materials. After meeting Marco and Maria (a husband and wife team) and brother Oscar I decided I did not even need to get any other quotes because the one they gave was much more reasonable than I would have predicted and I just had a really good feeling about them. Turns out my gut instinct was right on. They were professional and pleasant to work with. They allowed me to take home as many fabric sample books as I needed to feel comfortable with my selection and they even let me see the construction process. They delivered the booth at least 2 weeks earlier than I predicted and installed a perfectly crafted seating area that is better than restaurant quality in looks and comfort. Have 2 chairs that they will do next.
