Description of Work: Replaced chimney caps

Description of Work: I needed help with finding out if chimney was the problem in water leaking into furnace area of home. A two phase investigation plan involved removing mysteriously placed metal slab on one of chimney openings which occluded it, and installing a cap or roof above it instead. This helped one stream of water. Next plan - waterproof exterior brick of chimney when it's dry enough. Heat pump company and roofer unable to find source of leak, so this is an ongoing mystery which Emerald City was helpful in addressing.

Description of Work: Replaced the chimney from the floor of the attic, blocks inside, column approximately 5' x 5' x 2', we have a chimney liner plus the gas furnace exhaust and the remainder from the roof line up in nice brick. One day job which was promised to be finished at 5:00 pm. They brought in additional craftsmen early in the afternoon to make sure that they met their deadline. They were to return in two weeks to seal the exterior, needed a phone call from me to get that done...not a big deal.

Description of Work: I called them to clean and put on a chimney cap. He fixed the chimney and attached a chimney cap. He was courteous, punctual and told me my chimney didn't need cleaning.

Description of Work: I was able to schedule quickly, which was very helpful. The chimney was cleaned and the outside and cap were inspected. We got some good tips for cost saving maintenance. The area around the fireplace was left perfectly clean. I would certainly recommend this company!
