Dala Contracting LLC

Had to revise the project, but Bellomi was very easy to work with and I am hoping for a new estimate.

Bellomi is a very nice guy, fair and easy to get along with. We have a new home so this is a big project for each trade. He started quickly and was there every time he said he would be, and he completed when he said he would. He was very cooperative and responsive throughout the entire job. As they hung the sheet rock and I made several comments about too few screws. The cutouts they made for lights etc were good in most places but too big for trim in others (hard to fix after paint so 23 oversize goof rings were located). I asked them not to hit the screws with hammers if they were too far out...this seemed elementary to me. Now we already have a few tape joints moving that will eventually crack, and many popped screws are showing. Post paint so will take new screws, mud, rework, and paint to fix. His price was excellent so the quality I got is what I paid for I suppose. As with other reviews I have made about this project it's out on Whidbey so it was extremely difficult to get a selection of contractors...let alone any contractor at times. In the end I give the sheet rock finish a "C+" grade, but cooperation and ease to work with an "A". I saved over $10k and he was easy to deal with, so I feel like I got what I paid for. If I could have been on site (I have a day job) things could have been better as I could have pushed for more screws and if a screw was too high for tape, screw it in....don't hammer it. He was very cooperative so would have complied had I been there.

The provider told me they didn't do the cleaning service anymore and that there was nothing they could do.

The provider worked around my schedule which was great. They showed up on time, they were exceptionally nice and still very professional. I explained what I felt was important for them to focus on, the work was completed in the time allotted, and the end result was exactly what I wanted. I would hire them again.

They did make me aware from the beginning that this was a general surface cleaning. Everything was satisfactory.

The cleaners arrived on time and were very considerate of my home. The deep cleaning was very good. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Some of the finer details in the rest of the house were only average. The price quoted for future cleaning was too high for me to consider. I think they would be great for new home or move out cleaning as well as professional cleaning.

Bellomi, the owner, brought two workers with him and by the end of the morning the three of them had gone through the entire house. I could not be more pleased with their work and results. They were exhaustively meticulous and by the time they finished everything just sparkled. It looked (and smelled) fresh and clean. I'm not always easily pleased, but there was nothing that I could fault them on. They focused on the business at hand, were pleasant, worked fairly quickly, but not at the expense of a quality job. I would give them nothing but the highest recommendation. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled them to return on a regular basis.

I ordered this Angies list deal since it specifically said "Deep Clean"... I made sure our home was clean before they got there. I asked the cleaners to do a deep clean throughout the house.... Specifically kittchen cabinets, showers, back splash, floors, dusting etc... The deal was for 8 man hours. They scheduled 2 cleans to come for a total of 4 hours. # hours into it they called me and said they were finished. I pulled into the driveway and one of the cleaners was just waiting in the car. The other cleaner took me around to show me how clean the place was. At first it looked ok... but after they left I started to notice that nothing above eye level was touched. The kitchen cabinets were still dirty and there was dust on almost every wall shelf. The floor and bathrooms looked nice, but even the kitchen back splash was not cleaned. I definietly did not receive 8 man hours of deep cleaning...

As they came in, they asked if we had any garbage bags they could use. They hadn't brought any. They brought their home vacuum cleaner and a couple of spray bottles. I got the feeling they hadn't done this too may times. We left shortly after they arrived. They seemed unsettled that we were leaving. When we returned it looked like a teenager had cleaned for 30 minutes. A few tables had been moved and left haphazardly in the middle of the floor. Though we had walked them through the house and been clear that the bathrooms were the first priority, somehow one bathroom was completely missed and left filthy. Overall this is the worst cleaning we have received after trying about 8 local services and yet even with the deal, it was one of the most expensive. Avoid.

I wanted to let you know that our house looked fantastic after the cleaners were here on Wednesday. It was noticeable as soon as i walked in the door; the whole house seemed to sparkle! It was evident that great care has been put into the job. Beth and I were thrilled. I recommend Dala Contracting highly and frequently to others. Thank you for everything.

I recently acquired a townhouse that needed painting throughout. The job was complex in that there was quite a bit of detail work and molding to contend with on multiple floors. After interviewing a number of painting services one clearly stood out- Dala Contracting. Bellomi asked excellent questions and assessed my needs quickly. His level of knowledge was clearly above every candidate. Once he started the job it was clear that he has a passion for painting. He and his staff arrived on time, he also was courteous, always kept me in the loop, and was a pleasure to work with. He was flexible and to work around the schedules of electricians when necessary, and always had excellent suggestions for how to streamline the process. He knows his paints, and even had experience with Idea paint that I used in a couple of rooms. He and his crew carefully laid down paper to protect the floors and kept a clean and tidy work area. They were a delight to work with, and the final product was just stunning. A friend of mine who used to run his own painting company saw the house before and after and said that Dala Contracting's work was absolutely top notch. I will work with Dala Contracting LLC for years to come. Bellomi and his team get my highest recommendation.

I was disapointed by this experience. He did not pay attention to cleaning up after himself while working. He got a couple of drops of paint on an expensive area rug and he didn't wear booties while in the house. He started to use my bathroom to clean out his brushes which I had to stop him to use my utility room sink instead. He also worked very slowly which lead to additional costs on top of the Big Deal I had already purchased. He spent a lot of time talking to other painters I had in the house working on another room, asking about their equipment and seemed much less expereience than them. His car also left a ring of oil 18 inches wide in my driveway. I asked him to come back and clean it up, which he told me he'd come out the following Sunday to do so and never showed up. The other contractors I've had in the house all parked in the street.

I purchased this big deal in anticipation of a rental house I own needing to be painting. The provider came to my house to assess how much work/time would actually be required to complete my project and I was okay with that. However, upon thinking about the project over the weekend, I reduced the scope of my project and decided not to use the coupon. The provider was a nice guy, very professional, and I believe he would've done a great job.

Bellami was very focused on quality and attention to detail. He was efficient, hard-working, and the results look very polished. I am very grateful! I highly recommend him!

It went very well. Mr. Dala arrived with a helper and they spread groundcloths to protect the floors. He then carefully used a paintbrush along the ceiling line and around outlets and the baseboard, then used a roller to paint the bulk of the walls. He did two careful coats of paint, cleared up neatly, and left the walls looking great. I am pleased with the job he did.

Bellomi did a good job. He spent a lot of time even though this deal was obviously not much money for him. He was very friendly and professional and everything was clean and tidy after he left.

Since I was having out of town company, the two dates he gave me to paint, Sept. 22 or Sept. 25, didn't work. My next option was in December, which was longer than I wished to wait. When I asked him what should I do, he suggested I contact Angie's List for a refund.

Mr Bellomi did a wonderful job in our home, his work is very clean,and I never ever seen a contractor like him. He is a detailed oriented person and very easy to work with and also hard working. I definitely, I will hire him again!

The job was done great, and quickly!

Our tenants were moving out and new ones moving in on a short notice, we needed someone to come in and do the job while house is still empty/not occupied. Bellomi was courteous, communicated through phone and text messages to schedule and confirm appointment. He was helpful in trying to match existing room colors, their bid was very competitive and most importantly they were able to come in the very next day and finish the job in less than two days (two people). The job was done very well, I did not notice any issues, they cleaned up and new tenants were able to move in on time. In short no complains, they were easy to communicate with, I would hire them again.

The job went great! He was so friendly and outgoing. Always there on time and worked with just one other guys who was equally friendly and happy. they were very hard workers and got the job done well and ahead of schedule. the house is left clean and in very nice condition for our move in! thanks, bellomi! you worked a miracle.
