Description of Work: In what proved to be a huge error in judgment, I hired Busby services to remove old furniture and clean out a lot of old clothes, toys and other junk in preparation for a move. The best I can say - they took what I asked, and had a working truck. They also took MORE than I asked, no doubt due to excessive commitment to the job, scavenging through nearly everything else that we'd CLEARLY set aside to be put into storage (i.e was being kept) and helped themselves to items I specifically said not to take. BUT HEY - at least they arrived 90 minutes late, giving me time to sort everything into easily identifiable piles that they could willfully ignore. (I actually called at the 30 min mark, and they did tell me they were delayed (stunning news, considering it's the reason for my call). I then must have confused them with the complicated instructions I gave: "Against this LEFT wall (points) is all stuff i am KEEPING. I have isolated it 5 feet AWAY from this RIGHT wall and put a bike in between. Please take everything from THIS RIGHT wall." "We got it," one of the three man crew huffed irritably, while he rifled through a box of my "Keep" clothes on the left wall. One of them complained about "sure is a lot of stuff to take", after asking me how close my place was to the snoqualmie casino (??). Apparently hauling things was a surprising request on my part. Perhaps they were expecting a barbecue, instead. They went on to offer money for clothing that they kept pulling out of boxes that I CLEARLY AND REPEATEDLY said were to be left alone. It was like working security at the worlds worst WalMart while the general population from Rikers Island penitentiary shopped there. At this point, I was uncomfortable enough to call my fiancé to come supervise, since I couldn't keep an eye on the kids and pack, plus monitor the scavenging simultaneously. Finally, in what is surely a coincidence (insert extreme sarcasm font), one of the largest boxes of our "keep" items actually "disappeared". That box was the size of a small dresser and could only have been further against the left (KEEP) wall if I'd plastered it inside, which apparently I should have. I specifically had pointed to it as a keeper, which was a mistake, apparently. That box had LOTS of our clothing, coats, and some memorabilia. It also had the kids Christmas stockings, which they've had since they were babies. Both kids cried when we discovered the loss. (Nice, right? Wishing you an oozing red rash for Christmas, Busby!!). Since they'd clearly gone above and beyond the bar for hard work and professionalism that day, I guess it was time for one to make awkward inappropriate jokes about what "THIS guy (points to coworker) is REALLY into" , in front of my kids while cackling lecherously to himself.

Description of Work: Busby arrived on time. The gentlemen doing the job were very courteous and respectful. They were careful of their surroundings when backing up their truck, did the job quickly, and asked questions when necessary. Would hire them again if needed!

Description of Work: My spare refrigerator/freezer died and I needed it removed from my garage. I called in late morning and they said they could still make the trip that day. Two men arrived around 4pm, moved it into the truck. I paid them and they left. They were polite, quick and efficient.

Description of Work: I chose Busby because of their Angie's List posting. I was selling my house and moving, and, as always happens, had garbage and items to get rid of. The Busby folks arrived on time, and handled my disposal needs efficiently.

Description of Work: They called that they would be an hr. late. They showed up within the hr. Picked up all that needed to be hauled away, before they moved some heavy concrete they explained due to the weigh of the concrete there would be a small extra charge. I agreed to the charge knowing that the dump charges by weight. The hauled off all. They where professional during there whole stay at my house. I would recommend them to all.
