Very prompt, did a great job. Would absolutely use them again. Much cheaper than 1-800-GOT JUNK.

Showed up on time and took more items than originally planned for same price.

We scheduled an appointment online. The confirmation follow-up was by email. The availability of service was good. The crew called the morning of the pickup to let us know they would be 1/2 hour earlier than scheduled time (good). When the crew arrived the lead quoted us a price for the removal. He did not have the information that we scheduled online (discount) and that we were an Angie's List member (referral discount). If we had not provided that information, the discounts would not have been applied. It would be more professional if the crew had more information about the appointment and client. My husband thought the quoted price was high based on the amount of debris, but we were allowed to add additional items for removal. Also it would have been an added value if the crew had swept up the area after removing the debris. Overall, the crew was courteous and respectful.

They arrived in the window they provided me by phone, loaded up (most items were in the garage, but they had to get the chest freezer through a doorway with a high sill), and were on their way quickly and politely with a minimum of mess.

The price is based on the size of the load as it pertains to the amount of area the load takes up in their truck. At first my husband & I thought we had a 1/4 volume load but it turned out we had a 1/2 volume load. It was very hard for my husband & I to judge size by looking at the pile of debris ourselves. The crew quoted the price before doing any loading so we could say no without a problem. My husband spent just under 10 minutes thinking it through & running a calculator for what it would cost us to rent a truck & dispose of the debris ourselves. The numbers were close so he told the guys to go proceed. The crew never rushed us to a decision & were very courteous. They loaded the truck quickly, taking every bit of scrap with them & even apologized that the load was a 1/2 & not a 1/4. In the end, they gave us 10% off which brought the price of $300 to $270 ($279.72 w/ tax). I would use them again.

They came on time and they promply did the job requested.

We're very pleased with Busby. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze online: you can see the schedule for their trucks. The crews were friendly and quick both times. I also appreciate the pricing -- the fee is based on the volume of the junk; they do not charge extra for disposal costs.

At first it was a little rough, but then they straightened it out. I was pleased overall with the work they did.

The Busby Junk Removal guys were very efficient and polite. I gave them an A for everything except punctuality as they were a little late, but they did call me to let me know that they were running late. The quote I received was very reasonable and they got to work straight away. The price was based on how much of truck would be filled. In order to save money we had broken apart several shelving sets before they came to make the price cheaper. The actual loading of the truck took less than 15 minutes, but we had placed the trash in one big pile. They cleaned up after they had finished. All in all it was a good experience and I would use them again.

I really liked the online scheduling from their website - very convenient. They confirmed the next day via email (my request). They arrived I think exactly on the time they said they would. However, I did not receive a phone call prior to them arriving, which I think they said they would. After we agreed on the price, they quickly backed the truck up to our second floor balcony and easily moved the two pieces to their truck. I should have asked if they recycle, I hope they did. I guess I was in a hurry to get this done and they certainly did that. Professional and nice guys.

It went well. I was very pleased with their service and would definitely use them again. The gentlemen who did the work were friendly, professional, and energetic.

I called this morning, and they could come out this afternoon. They were prompt, they got the stuff loaded quickly. They could be a little more descriptive on their web site about load sizes. The minimum is equivalent to a love seat. Their truck is a little smaller than I had imagined. At first, they thought it was 1/4 load--I had figured minimum or 1/6. We agreed to charge it at 1/6 and they gave me the Angie's discount, too.

It was easy to set up an appointment for an estimate. Craig gave us a "max" bid that was a little higher than another phone bid we'd gotten, but we thought it might not reach the maximum, and liked the idea of a smaller family business, so decided to go with Busby anyway. The crew called in advance, to tell us they'd be late, because of traffic. They arrived about 25 minutes late, but set immediately to work. They were extremely personable, and attentive to detail. There were initially two people, who were later joined by a third person; but the truck was full, by the time they'd removed 90 percent of the dirt, and two workers had to drive from Seattle to Bellevue for the disposal. This left only one person working for about 90 minutes of the four hours they were here. He worked like a Trojan, however, and really they all worked efficiently and diligently; so it didn't take long for them to finish, after the other two returned. Even though they ended up hauling more than the 4 cu yd Craig (and we) had estimated, they honored the maximum price that Craig had quoted us. The area they cleared looked great, and they also cleaned up after themselves, sweeping the walkways and driveway. It was a difficult job because of the digging and the rocks, and having to use wheelbarrows to haul everything to the truck. They did excellent work, and were extremely pleasant throughout. We'd definitely hire them again.

They were fabulous. They were on time and they just did a very good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They?re really into recycling - as the guy was cleaning up, we had a really great conversation about recycling. I don?t recall the cost but they did give me a discount because I am a member of Angie?s List. They also told me that if I were to refer somebody else, they would give them a discount. They were good, and I would use them again.

It was easy. They came looked over my removal items. Gave me a quote for $180, Because I am a veteran I got a 10% discount. Everything was done in less than 20 minutes and it just cost me $162.

Went like clockwork. Right on for estimate, even though I think it took longer than estimated. They came right on time, were so quiet they did not even disturb the sleeping tenant. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. Cleaned up their mess.

I filled out their online form and got a return call within a couple of hours. We scheduled a time for them to come out and they arrived right on schedule. Everyone, from the person on the phone through the guys hauling the dirt, was a pleasure to work with. Very friendly and professional.

I emailed for information, including my phone number, and Craig called from the office almost instantly. He said they were having a surge in business, possibly due to the good weather. I described the hot tub and he gave me an estimate of $300-$400, depending on how much room it took up in the truck. He said they could come out next Wednesday (we spoke on a Monday) at 11:30 and I agreed. So, after being away from the phone all day THAT Wednesday, I was surprised to find a flurry of messages from Busby team, office, and of course my suprised tenant (who hadn't been home either). By then the hot tub was gone and there was a mess of wood and fiberglass shards down the walk, sidewalk, driveway and street in its wake. Good news: They did take it away, and when I called the team it did come in on the lower end of the price quote. The bad news: there on the wrong day a week too early and left a mess. I described the scheduling snafu and mess to Sean in the office who offered to take 10% off the service. He was polite and professional as were the team when I spoke to them. I'm guessing they would have done the job a little more neatly if I had been there when they did the work, as both my tenant and I would have been the next Wednesday. So, if you excuse a scheduling snafu and a lack of sweeping up, a positive-ish experience.

During the remodel of a bathroom, I needed to get rid of the old fixtures - including an old claw tub. None of my contractors wanted to do the demolition and haul the tub down two flights of stairs. I called Busby. They came out the next day, hauled everything down the stairs and got rid of it for me. I was very pleased that they charge only by volume and didn't charge extra for the large items or all the stairs. I probably could have gotten a somewhat better price from some of the guys advertising on Craigslist, but Busby is a professional organization at this. They show up at time, stick to their estimate and don't complain about the large items or difficulty in getting it out. They're more then worth whatever premium I might have paid. I'll definitely use them again in the future.

They came out within a couple of days. They were fast and efficient. They were thoughtful and considerate about maneuvering through my property.

They were great! They were reasonably priced. They were able to come out quickly to do the job. I plan on using them again soon for some more work.

I had a 9:00 am appointment and the guys shows up 30 minutes early and apologized for being early but that was great because I was ready for them. The two guys were very pleasant and worked fast to load their truck. They explained the cost based on the size of the material and were loaded and gone in less than 20 minutes. They even reminded me that since I would be a return customer, I now get a 10% discount for future business.

It went well. They arrived and quickly got all the trash removed, since we were only charged for the amount of the truck we took up it ended up being about the same cost as getting a dumpster and doing all the work on our own. One of the two men who came to pick up was unbelievably cheerful; chatting, making jokes and singing a little as he worked.
