It went great! They were punctual and treated my wife with respect. We requested some additional service (A/C service), but they declined because they noticed that my external A/C unit needed some work on the concrete pad where it sits. Doing the concrete work first would have negated the A/C service and been a waste of money. It would have been easy for them to do the job and take my money. Now that I've fixed my concrete problem I'm going to give Black Lion a call to service my A/C system.

I am one of those kinds of people who does my research and takes my time to make sure I have all the details. I went through all the reviews on Angie?s List, Google, Yelp and other sites to narrow down who I wanted to discuss getting bids from. Upon meeting with multiple companies, it became clear that Black Lion was the right company for me. Price was at the top of our criteria list (as I am sure it is for many) and this company came in FAR BELOW the other bids we received (Washington Energy and Glendale to name a few). From a quality standpoint, this company exclusively uses Bryant equipment which is rated at the top on Consumer Reports. That was another factor that played into our decision. I was also very impressed with the customer service we received. From the office manager to the service techs and even to the owners (and I met and spoke with them all), it is clear they are focused on making the customer happy! As soon as our install was completed, the office manager made sure to get our rebates submitted as well as our inspections lined up. From start to finish I was more than satisfied. I even recommended them to my neighbor and would continue to recommend them without any hesitation. Thank you Black Lion!

Woke up to a 60 degree house thanks to my furnace that was blowing cold air. Hello winter!!! Called a few other heating companies only to be told they could come out in a few days. Called Black Lion and even though they had a full schedule, they were willing to send a technician out between his other appointments to take a quick look and try to diagnose the problem. Awesome!!! Not only did they show up within a half hour of my phone call, the technician (Brad) diagnosed and quickly fixed my furnace (bad ignitor switch) - thanks Brad!!! I appreciate that they went out of their way to squeeze me in on their busy schedule - great customer service! I highly recommend Black Lion Heating and I will be calling them for all of my future HVAC needs. :)

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it has been great. We chose them because of their Big Deal price. They had great follow-up. When they put the system in it was not quite functioning like we thought so they sent somebody back out within 24 hours. They also followed up again to make sure it was working right. They were great from a customer service perspective. I have had no other issues with the unit.

Pleasant and professional salesman with patient explanations and answers to my questions. I have relatives who are happy heat pump owners. Good plan for the placement of the units for aesthetics and function. Efficient installation of the units within reasonable days. Four or five installers, neat and polite and great work. They even took out my old electric furnace and left a neat area that I converted into a closet. The cost and installation was terrific A+, but two glaring problems to the whole process. After the installation and electrical inspection was done, the Puget Sound Energy rebate that had been preapproved was denied! It took me many phone calls and resubmitting of paperwork to discover the cause: on the rebate form, Black Lion had incorrectly filled it out. I did eventually get the full $1200 rebate, but only with my persistence. Perhaps PSE is quick to deny claims in hopes that it won't be pursued, but I did find errors in the submitted papers that I had to formally correct before receiving the rebate. The second problem was the finish work. The plastic covering (called Speedichannel) could not be installed until after the inspection (and of course I had paid the balance!). It took 5 months and many calls to get the 2 guys out to finish. They did a great job, I love the finished look, and will be even better after I paint to match the house. They were genuinely apologetic and I recognize that besides my annoying phone calls every other week or so, there was no urgency. I love the heat pumps, worth the expense and efforts. I would definitely use Black Lion again.

They did a great job, were on time and the work went well. The team spent significant time after installing the furnace to troubleshoot a wiring issue which in the end turned out that the NEST thermostat was broken. Overall happy with their work, would have been nice to have a short follow up call from Black Lion after the job was done to check if all was good but not a big deal.

My furnace stopped heating so I needed someone to come out and take a look at the furnace. Jason came out to diagnose if I needed a repair or replacement of my 15 year old furnace. I was expecting the worst, replacement, but Jason diagnosed the problem within seconds and replaced the electronic ignite. Fortunately, I can put off the expense of a new furnace for a while longer. While he was here, I had him look at my fireplace as well since it was shutting off by itself. He told me a new switch would fix the problem. I was concerned I would be looking at a very large expense for a new furnace and fireplace. He saved me a lot of money. I was very impressed with the service and with the fact that the owner of the company was the one who came out on the call. I can't say enough about the great the company service. I very highly recommend Black Lion Heating and I would definitely use them again.

All great, from the show up on time for estimate, estimate, schedule for replacement, communication & on time for replacement, in with new & out with old, clean, fast. The new one works great. The price was better than 2 other estimates too.

They came in on time. Were very professional. Did the complete job and mostly cleaned up afterwards. The 2 complaints I had are the reason I set quality to B. 1. They moved the stuff around in the garage but did not put it back in place or let us know that something like this happened. 2. The electrical work did not pass state inspection and I had to stay back extra time to get the work completed. Thanks.

They had to cancel one appointment. They did not make the second one.

called the company for an estimate to replace the heat exchangers in my furnace. The estimate was one of the lower estimates. He was able to do the repairs a couple of days later. Excellent service, good price and he also replaced the igniter ( no charge) and serviced my furnace. I will definitely use this company again!

It was great! Black Lion called me the day after I purchased their big deal to schedule service. I wasn't ready so I said I would call them back. When I did I got the day I wanted & a 1 hour window! Ben W called me ahead of time to let me know when to expect him. He was very friendly & professional. He immediately recognized the furnace had been serviced recently. He spent about a half hour cleaning & inspecting the A/C. Even though my unit is old he said it was clean & was in good working order.

The provider was very responsive. The planning, scheduling , punctuality, and length of time to complete the job was outstanding. I would give them preference against other bids for my next project because of the good experience I had with this water heater install.

I bought a deal for servicing my furnace but it turned out that it was too old to really service/clean so they credited me back the amount I paid.

Black Lion Heating and Ari Conditioning provide a very comprehensive inspection and cleaning of our A/C system. Although we wen't able toconnect on the first appointment every effort was made on both our sides to communicate during this time (unusual traffic circumstances prevented the appointment from occurring). On our second attempt, we were successful and the service technition was prompt, professional, and coutious throughout the appointment. I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided. Some condition issues with our A/C system were pointed out at the conclusion without any hard-sell tactics to try and sell additional service. Honest service for a reasonable price and I could not ask for more. We are completely satisfied and would definately recommend using this company!

Perfect. On time and delivered as promised. Also connected me with a great service provider for duct cleaning (most of the duct cleaning offers on Angie's List totally bogus, BTW. The folks he connected me with were legit and at a fair price for the whole house without the flakey up-sale routines common to Angie's List providers).

Timely, professional, good service

Black Lion Heating & Air Conditioning was great. We bought the Big Deal because our water heater was about 15 years old and everyone from the home inspector to the heater repair man said, "We should think about replacing it, soon." It wasn't leaking, but we figured we should replace it sooner than later (would hate for it to go out and not be able to get someone out to fix it right away). We made an appointment, one guy came out, we showed him the heater, and about an hour later he was done. Would hire them again.

The service was good. It was my first time using them and I felt that the owner was very good. He was very knowledgeable and fair.

Knowing I needed a new water heater I purchased this but my garage was too full for installation. I asked them to wait. Unfortunately my water heater let go all over the garage on a Saturday evening. I contacted Black Lion and asked if they could come out on Monday and they were able to. I had to have some plumbing done as well since the handle broke off the water pipe while turning the water off. Black Lion came out at the time they said they would. They did a great job very quickly. They tested all the lines to make sure it was working throughout the house. The whole thing took less than probably 2 hours.

Two technitions arrived on time. They first called to let me know they were in route. The divided their tasks to complete the service faster. Worked very quietly and cleaned and adjusted the units. Accomodated my schedule in a timely manner. Will use again.

We were told we needed to replace the heat exchangers, but will get a second opinion before we do.

Excellent service provider, but our new home needed additional work that out it over our budget. We would choose them in the future.
